As I was looking on the internet for good Home Security System in early 2024 the name Elder AI Security Camera System was displayed. As always, I look at the reviews and base my purchase decision on what I read. I was impressed on what I read not only on the product but Customer Support Service. Purchase was made, delivery was fast and when everything was installed and pressed the on button voilà worked like a charm.

After having the system over a year, I wanted to record some important events on an external memory stick connected to my NVR 5.0 and when I tried I could only record the sound and not the video. I contacted Elder Support Team and the next day I recieved a reply with simple instructions to fix my problem. I followed their instructions and within minutes I was able to record sound and video. That is what we call excellent support, with only a few lines to explain my issue they knew exactly how to fix my problem. They know their product and are definitely worth more than a 5 star rating, this is what customers want to hear and read about.

I definitely recommend this company, they have excellent Customer Support.

Beware of this company. Most 4 stars reviews are fake. Specially the ones that said “talk to” customer service. There is no phone number to call but only a email and they don’t reply back to answer trouble questions. Bought the EL-56P8NJT-WF/2TB system last month. Had it installed and worked for 2 days then the NVR crashed. Kept rebooting itself after 40s. Sent it back to Seco and had to pay for my own shipping. Received the NVR back after 1 week with no updates on what happened and just said it works fine. Works for 1 week and crashed again self rebooting. did a factory reset and worked. I would return the system but 30 days has passed. Beware of this company before buying!

The camera had issues from day one—poor video quality and constant app crashes. I contacted support, and they took days to reply with useless, copy-paste answers. No real help, no follow-up, and no refund offered.
Avoid this brand if you expect any kind of customer service.

I was in the market for a new security camera system. I had a Lorex system for 14 years with no issue. Wanted to buy Canadian so decided to go with Elder. Bought the EL-KT84BD 8 camera system. Bought it in September 2023. In April 2025 the ethernet port (#5) at back just stopped working. Tried 2 other working cameras in this port and it was obvious the Port was defective. Contacted Secomart customer service (online of course because they cleverly do not post a phone number) for technical support. Support said there is obvious problem with port and I have two options: 1. Send the device to them and I have to pay for repairs or 2. Purchase a new device. I PAID $1000 for this defective system. It just stopped working! It is not a lawnmower where it gets used and worn. But customer service repeated that it is out of warranty and nothing they can do. What a poor product, and even poorer customer service and product backing. When a port stops working it is a defective drive. This should be repaired at no cost to me or if the defective cannot be remedied then they should stand by their product and replace it. I will NEVER BUY FROM SECOMART/ELDER again. Beware of this company!!!!!

I wanted to purchase product from SecoMart, so I signed up, placed product in my cart and requested better technical information than the information available on their website. I started with a request on their websites messaging app. No response. I began receiving email messages from the "sales" email listed on their website for product-related questions and again....No response. I sent another email to their "support" email and again....No response.
I can't do business with a company that ignores their customers.

Great quality security cameras and excellent service from Secomart. The setup was straightforward, and the system has been working reliably. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I prefer black cameras, but only white ones were available. Other than that, everything was great!

Order received promptly. Easy to do the transaction. Product pretty good. Helpful to include a sheet ( first order) showing what was shipped. Because of empty packing boxes, I thought I was missing items which I was not. Helpful to emphasize a monitor (TV) is not included.

My experience was exemplary because of Mo Karimi. I am an older person and not adept in technical challenges. Mo showed a lot patience in mentoring me over several emails to achieve the result of correcting the camera challenges I was having.
