We have been Schools Plus customers since pre-COVID — in fact, pre-Grenfell — so it is fair to say that we have had a relationship spanning well over a decade, hopefully to our mutual satisfaction.

What does frustrate me about Trustpilot is that it doesn’t work both ways. Companies should also have the opportunity to rate their customers, which would provide a much more balanced and representative picture of customer service and relationships.

That said, after more than 10 years of working with Schools Plus across three different central London venues, we have certainly had enough experience to form a genuine and informed opinion.

Of all the facility management companies we work with — including some big names such as Better and Everyone Active — Schools Plus is by far the most proactive and reliable.

Their professional approach and excellent customer service are what have kept us with Schools Plus year after year. A special mention to Jenna, our account manager, who once again demonstrated that excellent level of service just yesterday.

A decade-plus of experience is a pretty strong endorsement.

We hired a dance studio at Ark John Keats Academy in Enfield through Schools Plus, and our experience was fantastic.

The dance studio was spacious, modern, and ideal for our music video shoot. Skye from Schools Plus was professional, approachable, and incredibly helpful throughout the booking process. She provided excellent customer service and accommodated all of our requests, making the entire experience smooth and stress free.

We would highly recommend both the venue and Schools Plus to anyone looking for a high-quality space for rehearsals, filming, or other creative projects.

I was running the tea tent at shoeburyness model railway show this weekend at the seaglass, both Danielle and John were extremely helpful and friendly, they are certainly an asset to your company, nothing was too much trouble for them.

Agnieszka was absolutely brilliant. So so good, in fact, that a member of Head Office came to deliver flowers at the behest of another member of HO. She was always on time, always cheerful, very helpful, orderly, and was a perpetually stable and trustworthy presence. Couldn’t recommend more!!

Were left in a very tricky position, having to sort a new class venue at the last minute ... School Plus and in particular James and Jan saved the day for us!!

Have been using Schools Plus for West London bookings for about a year. Very happy with their service and clear and prompt communication. Sanah has been very helpful.

We hosted our 100-person Mahjong event at St James’ Catholic High School last Saturday, and we were very impressed with the customer service provided by a member of staff named Shahila.

She was thoughtful, professional, and extremely helpful in resolving issues that arose during the event. Her support played a significant part in ensuring that everything ran smoothly and contributed greatly to the success of the event.

Started working at an organisation that was hiring with schools plus and have been so impressed by the helpful nature of all the staff. Shahila in particular is so helpful and supportive and enabled us to deliver our event despite some last minute requests!

Rented space @ Fulham Boy School from School Plus for daughter's birthday.

No ability to request chairs and table on online portal. Phoned up a 5 weeks before the event to request these additions and found out two days before the event that their unable to do so. Had to use an alternative space on-site which was much more expensive when they know you have no choice. I ate the extra charge in spite of the poor service / communication.

Customer service was poor. A couple of examples: (i) They sent an email the night before cancelling the event because they had staffing issues. No alternatives proposed, just a refund the day before the event. They then sent an email an 1.5 hours afterwards saying it was fine and staffing issues were resolved. and (ii) Operations staff were rude and frustrated in our communications. No alternatives or solutions offered, you have to problem solve for them. Incremental charges are not communicated, you find out afterwards.

In-house complaint process is poor. It's not worth the effort....they've received all the above.

I would not risk using them for events.....experience has been very poor.

I noticed that, rather than addressing the concerns raised in my previous review, SchoolsPlus chose to report it to Trustpilot, which resulted in the review being temporarily removed. Following Trustpilot's review process, my review was reinstated.

From my perspective, that sequence of events is telling.

As a customer, I would much rather see the company focus its time and effort on improving its customer service and learning from genuine customer feedback than attempting to have critical reviews removed.

Every business receives criticism from time to time. In my view, the way a company responds to that criticism says a great deal about its commitment to its customers. Based on my experience, challenging a customer's honestly held review does not build trust or confidence.

This review reflects my personal experience and my honestly held opinions based on my interactions with SchoolsPlus. It is not intended to make any allegations beyond describing my own experience. I sincerely hope the company continues to improve its service and places as much emphasis on listening to customer feedback as it does on challenging negative reviews.

Based on my experience, my rating remains 1 star.

Probably the most unorganised company I have used. They just want to take your money! they tend to cancel last minute, customer service I poor! do not recommend

Leisure Leagues has a good relationship with Schools Plus, and all their staff. Jan goes the extra mile to help out our problems

Jan at Schools Plus+ has been absolutely fantastic. She has been ever so helpful and we are indebted to her kindness. She is incredibly organised, professional and it has been a pleasure being her client. She is wonderful at doing her job!

Schools Plus+ has been very helpful. A unmatched variety of great locations that are easily accessible. Navigating the website was easy and straightforward. It has become one less thing to worry about.

Made a booking and there were no comms to explain their expectations although they did send a very condescending email a day after from James telling us off for not setting the hall up as it was found and falsely claiming we'd caused damage! Nowhere was the process explained and the hall wasn't ready for it's intended use. Add to the fact you can't make instant bookings (it's a manual process that can take 3+ days) and they don't allow cancellations within a month means we won't be using these crooks going forward!

I've been booking with schools plus for 3 years now, and i must say their staff are wonderful and helpful. I always book the 3G pitch at st james catholic high school where Shahila is in charge of the facilities. She's always made my experience seamlessly easy and helpful. Great company, would recommend booking through them.

Shahila is always so kind and welcoming.

I have been booking St James school through SchoolPlus for over a year and the staffs are always helpful and understanding specially the staff called, ‘Shahila’! Hopefully the school can fix their changing room facilities very soon.

Paige has been amazing in helping me secure my holiday camp venue, she’s made sure the whole process was easy and seamless and having that person directly to go to has been brilliant :)
