The trip was fully and professionally organised by Safari Consultants in accordance with my requests. Their suggested venues being superb allowing us the perfect level of comfort and facilities. Apart from the international flights to/from Kenya and an early morning balloon flight over the Amboseli all transportation around Kenya was arranged by Safari Consultants and worked like clockwork. Dependant on location we enjoyed some wonderful game viewing and cultural experiences. As an add-on at the end of the safari we were looking for a few days of relaxation on the Kenyan coast and, once again, Safari Consultants recommended the ideal resort.
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this organisation to anyone looking for the perfect safari experience.

The team take loads of time to understand what safari trip you would love to have, and then use their experience to make it a reality. Highly recommend using them.

Firstly, when booking they listened to what we wanted and made helpful suggestions. Secondly, the trip was so well organised and went smoothly. The assistance through OR Tembo airport was extremely reassuring and made our flights so much easier. All our accommodation was excellent and most importantly we all had a great time!

A wonderful safari to Zimbabwe which was a new destination for us. A fabulous itinerary, great camps, wonderful guiding and some wonderful sightings. We have used Safari Consultants for our safaris for many years and they always deliver an amazing experience.

The trip was outstanding. All went smooth throughout our many transfers and handoffs. Latitude 15 in Lusaka was comfortable and accommodating to our needs. Our Lusaka drivers were great and helped us get to the correct flights/locations flawlessly.

The four camps seemed planned to increase our enjoyment with each move. Kutali was so much more than we were prepared for. Our Guide was knowledgeable and gracious. Mark even caught a fish. I was taken aback by arguing hippos on our first night but was assured that it would not continue. And it did not. The numbers and types for animals spotted were exceptional. So much more than I imagined.

Bilimungwe was a favorite of mine. We were the only guests for most of our stay. They put us in the honeymoon chalet that was adjacent to a small lagoon. We enjoyed watching the locals come in for much needed water. Our Guide Prince was delightful. He was also extremely knowledgeable. He found us many leopards and even a mother lion with a two week old cub. The morning meals served overlooking the river and compliment of hippo was a favorite of mine. The food was excellent.

At Tafika we were assigned Lloyd for our Guide. He not only seemed to know every inch of the area but also explained a great deal about the local political structure which was fascinating. Here we experienced a leopard sighting that lasted a good half an hour at sunset. I will be sending along the photos as soon as I get them cleaned up. At this camp the greeters (Vein and Georgia) were a huge help, suggesting that we wet the sarong like sheets and then covering ourselves with them in the heat of the afternoon. The most unusual siting here was a pair of jackals on a night drive

We were so glad that we ended up staying five days at Mwamba. We at first thought it might be too long but no. Each day Patrick our Guide Extrodinare was able to find new and amazing sights and experiences cumulated by the Red moon eclipse. The camp set up pre-dinner cocktails in a perfect location to watch the celestial show. During our visit was saw a number of lions, including one effort at making new lions. Leopards, including one who was comfortable enough to walk under the truck. A herd of water bufallo that went on as far as we could see and even a chameleon. We were also privileged to Experience a hunt by African dogs and got to see the pack's Puppies! As you know I was limited in my walking abilities but the watering hole blind made the morning I stayed in camp while Mark and Patrick hiked a true delight.

All in all it was perhaps the best journey we have ever taken and that is saying a lot. Thank you again for answering all my questions and planning such a great excursion. I will be recommending your Agency to any and all friends who are interested.

We had a fantastic trip to Kenya, staying in three camps. Every detail - from the pickup at the airport and helping us through security to returning us to the airport for our trip home - was flawless and very much appreciated. Each camp was wonderful while being unique. Staff were very helpful and made us feel like family. In Camp #1 we stayed in a wonderful 2-bedroom cottage. The food was outstanding - healthy and flavorful. The staff were responsive, pleasant and efficient. All of our guides were very experienced and showed us about every animal possible - cheetah, lions, leopards, serval, giraffes, and many other beautiful animals. We learned that our three camps were about the only ones that only have silver level certified guides. In Camps #2 and #3 we were in spacious and luxurious tents. Once again, the food was fantastic, and staff could not have been more responsive. All three camps had excellent relationships with their community, so we experience cultural things - visit to village, visit to Women's center weaving center, time with locals to learn about beading, etc. The whole trip could not have been better. At least two camps mentioned they have worked with Safari Consultants for over 20 years. I believe that good working relationship helped make our trip go so smoothly.

We received good advice on camps, best area for leopards etc. We were met by knowledgeable and helpful helpers at airports etc. No major problems at all.

I can't thank Mary at Safari Consultants enough for the amazing holiday she arranged for my son and me in Kenya. After a call to listen to our thoughts, she suggested various options and we finally chose a trip staying in two camps in different conservancies. From start to finish, everything went smoothly, the accommodation was wonderful, the people were so lovely and the game drives were incredible with fantastic guides, who were so informative.

Fantastic service. Holiday was organised exactly how we wanted it and Francis and Mary always responded quickly and knew exactly what they were talking about. The holiday itself was amazing, the lodges fantastic and the special touches for our honeymoon making it even more incredible.

We reached out to Joe at Safari Consultants to help us plan our honeymoon for July 2025, and from our very first conversation, we knew we were in expert hands. Joe took the time to truly understand what we were looking for and thoughtfully recommended areas that would offer exceptional game viewing. He presented a range of camps, outlining the pros and cons of each location with honesty and insight, which made the decision-making process both informed and enjoyable.

We ultimately chose to explore the Masai Mara and Mara North Conservancy, staying at both Offbeat Ndoto and Offbeat Mara. Joe’s recommendations couldn’t have been more perfect. Both camps were outstanding, with warm, attentive staff, incredible food, and, most importantly, unforgettable wildlife encounters. It was everything we had hoped for and more, an extraordinary experience for a once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon.

On top of that, Joe coordinated every detail of our travel within Africa. He arranged all transfers, internal flights, and connections seamlessly and everything ran like clockwork. We were genuinely amazed that he managed to orchestrate such flawless logistics from the UK. It meant we could relax and enjoy every moment, knowing that all the details had been carefully thought through and taken care of.

Joe also guided us in planning the more relaxing leg of our journey. We had our hearts set on Zanzibar, and he encouraged us to spend time in Stone Town for an authentic cultural experience, which we absolutely loved. He recommended beautiful accommodations in both Stone Town and Paje, and we eventually settled on Kisiwa House and Kisiwa on the Beach - both of which were absolutely perfect and aligned exactly with what we had envisioned.

This entire holiday was nothing short of magical, an experience we will always remember. We honestly cannot thank Joe enough for his invaluable advice and thoughtful planning. He is a true asset to Safari Consultants, and his in-depth knowledge of both the Masai Mara and Zanzibar was second to none.

Frances was brilliant right from the start with my first call to Safari Consultants, she gave me lots of advice and suggestions and after looking at the various itineraries she had sent I made my decision on the itinerary that suited me best. As this was my first safari I was nervous about how it would go, I needn’t have worried from start to finish everything was great and ran very smoothly. A well organised itinerary, as regards flights, hotels, transport. Memorable as I lived in Tanzania as a child, was able to visit our old home in the small town of Tanga, our house now the URITHI museum, had an interesting talk with the well educated curator. We stayed at the Phyllen hotel, basic, clean, comfortable, good food.
Our other destinations: Dar es Salaam, good place to rest after the long flight; Zanzibar, lovely to visit, shop; Impala camp, Selous, very well run, we had an excellent guide, Elias, very knowledgable about the wildlife; Mafia island, Pole Pole hotel, well run, good food, good activities.
