As with many it's not easy to gauge a fixed cost for in item (I bought a book). They list prices without any elaboration on the final cost. I would like to see a fixed priced cost for a fixed specification.

Beautiful lay flat photobooks at a fair price. Print quality is brilliant. The photobook editor takes some getting used to but once you get the hang of it it works well.

One of the worst printing experiences ever - I wrote a book for my 98 year old Grandmother I was flying out to see at Christmas

I put an order for 5 childrens books to be printed before the Monday 15th December 2025 10am deadline, to receive it for Friday 19th December 2025. On Friday 19th Dec, I queried when I would receive it - I was messaged late Friday evening, saying it had already been dispatched. I asked for a tracking number, and then someone mesaged me on Sunday 21st Dec, saying there were unexpected delays with my order and it wasn't going to be shipped until Monday 22nd Dec. On Monday 22nd Dec, it was impossible to get in touch with anyone, really delayed responses. I finally got one at 3pm saying my order was being finalised and would be shipped shortly. Then they went quiet even when I requested the shipping information and tracking. Tuesday 23rd Dec, they e-mailed me saying the order still had not been shipped and they could not guarantee receiving it before Christmas.

The company barely replies, there is no contact number, they seem to have delays internally because they have to get in touch with "the specialist department". There are no explanation as to what the delays are, no sympathy this is a gift and they will only offer vouchers for future purchases. Would not recommend no matter how good quality of printing may or may not be - the customer experience and company values are far more important.

I made a second calendar. I find the customisation awkward. I'd have liked to make one of the same style as last year. However, even with some online support, I could not figure it out. It is a shame you can pick a product and say - like this just change the photos

I would not use this company again. I cannot really comment on the product itself because I still haven't received it. It is now a week past the estimated date - and it's impossible to track effectively. They have given me money off my next order - but there is no point in this when I will not use them again.

The upload and design process is slick; production and delivery swift andI am over the moon with the quality.

Really easy design process - once you've got used to it it's a lot more simple and less daunting than it looks. Easy to order and the quality is outstanding. I have ordered photo books and wall art from Saal and they knock all of the other online print shops (you know who I mean) out of the park. They are a little more expensive but the quality speaks for itself. top notch!!

I have nothing but praise for the Saal customer service team. As a complete novice to photobook creation I had several questions which were answered with patience and a personal phone call from one of the team helped clarify a lot of issues. I will certainly be using Saal for any future creations and I am delighted with my photobook

It was a quick, easy design, edit, and view my book design once I had worked out the basics. It would be good if the PDF of the PREVIEW was less prominent.

I purchased the photobook as part of a promotion. The online editor was really easy to use with lots of automatic templates. Any uploaded photos show down the left side and are removed once added to page, making it simple to track which have been added.

The quality of the book is really high. I went for the metal front cover which makes for an interesting look, though wouldn't choose it again in future as photos can be difficult to see in quite a few angles. Pages inside are very high quality, I did not noticed any defects. Cost of additional pages wasn't too much and was worthwhile.

Overall very pleased and will purchase here again.

Great quality books, which look fabulous. Can't believe how quickly they arrive - always a day or two quicker than the original estimate.
