We are a group of friendly, expert, optical practices who have served our communities in South East London, North Kent and Surrey for decades.
We have many years of experience in taking care of all our customers’ eye care needs and concerns. We offer a wide range of services including specialist eyecare, dry eye management, sunglasses, children’s eye care, myopia management and hearing care.
Our practices are located in Crystal Palace, East Dulwich Purley, Sydenham, Welling, and West Norwood. We look forward to welcoming you to the renowned Woodfalls experience.

The clinical reputation and range of services offered by Woodfalls has continued to grow, our success has been due to our committed optometrists, fully qualified dispensing and contact lens opticians, optical assistants and a team of dedicated support staff.
Our practices are fully equipped with the latest in optical equipment and all of our branches offer specialist services. We have the latest OCT (optical coherence tomography) machines at all six sites, we now also offer Optomap scanning, plus The Hearing Care Partnership to provide all things audiology.
As an independent group of opticians we dedicate the time necessary to ensure our customers receive the best care and advice. We work closely with our clinical partners to ensure we focus on our local communities and provide the very best clinical care.

Recommended for regular check ups and help with all aspects of eye health
This is a friendly and efficient opticians in the heart of the Crystal Palace triangle. As well as the usual service to check distance and near sight ability, they offer a number of diagnostic and therapeutic services that treat eye problems, particularly those associated with dry eye. They have up to date technology capable of checking for underlying problems for which early diagnosis means more effective treatment. Making appointments is easy and the reception staff unfailingly helpful both in person or on the phone. For regular check ups or advice on problems you may have with your eyes this is the place to go.

I needed my glasses frame realigned and Alex was able to sort it out in minutes. He was extremely helpful, friendly and professional. I'm contemplating switching over from Specsavers.

The staff were/are just so good. their experience and professionalism is second to none. and their attention to detail is born out of experience not just re-action to a computer based program, as one gets from the likes of Boots/Tesco etc in-house technology

Great optician
Great optician, the person doing my test took me through everything, explaining what she was looking for and what it all means - never had that before! Also the person helping me choose my glasses was v nice and honest about which she thought worked best for me. A great service.

My mum and I had an appointment at the…
My mum and I had an appointment at the wood falls on 30/07/2025 the staff were friendly and caring. However, I found the price of the consultation really expensive £85,00 and only two pair of glasses for me and mum was nearly £900,00. I still haven’t received the glasses after 15 days. I was expecting least be fast and hope the glasses fulfilled my necessiteis because the so far I’m not happy.

Hi Alinne, thank you for your feedback, it is vital we receive your comments to help us to continually improve our business where possible.
We check the marketplace regularly to ensure we are offering value for money, and £85 is lower than the average cost of a highly professional enhanced eye examination, obviously the cost of any service or product will be reviewed subjectively and although we appreciate this is a significant outlay we believe it is a very fair price for the level of expertise involved in delivering our professional services, however we take on board your concerns.
We always try and quote accurate time frames for the delivery of spectacles and apologies if we have not met your expectations on this occasion, unfortunately it can be challenging to push our suppliers to process orders urgently, no matter the retail value, however we understand you have now made arrangements to collect your new glasses.
Please do provide feedback about your ongoing experience, and we trust you find your new glasses as exceptional as we expect them to be.
