Rum Cay Rum is inspired by the Aitken family’s time in the Bahamas of the 1970s. Their time in The Bahamas gave them a fresh perspective on life that they never forgot. Once they moved back to Scotland, they named their house Rum Cay to serve as a permanent reminder to embody the values of our family. Drawing on our family’s rich heritage in spirits and the values of Rum Cay, we’ve blended the warmth of Bahamian spice with Scottish distilling traditions to craft the Aitken family spirit.

I discovered Rum Cay Rum at a local market, and meeting the founder and his family is what first drew me in - they were incredibly warm and passionate, which made the whole experience feel genuine from the start.
I loved hearing the story behind the brand, especially it's roots in bringing people together and the family’s ties to the Bahamas. It’s clear this is a rum built on real passion and a desire to create meaningful experiences.
I’m not usually a rum drinker, but I was pleasantly surprised - it's exceptionally smooth and unlike any rum I’ve tried before. I’ve already bought my third bottle, which says it all. If you’d told me a year ago I’d love a rum this much, I wouldn’t have believed you!

The rum arrived promptly and is well packaged. I love the bottle and the decoration. The rum is amazing and it has a wonderful back story. Will be buying again.

Absolutely fantastic brand! I normally do not go out of my comfort zone and try new Rum brands, but i am so glad i did. This has quickly became my favorite and go to brands with excellent flavor, and goes down like a treat.
I cant recommend this enough. Its suitable for everyone, even people who do not drink as much. try it with Pineapple juice.

I recently had the pleasure of having my first sip of Rum and I’m delighted it was with Rum Cay Rum.
The Rum itself is very refreshing, smooth and worked really well with Coke as a mixer - even the bottle is elegant.
Overall I’m really happy with this product and will definitely be ordering again.
