Phil Town's Transformational Investing Workshop is a one of a kind experience! There is so much value packed into a 3 day workshop. It is the most learning I have ever done in such a short time. I would highly recommend reading his books and listening to the Invested podcast first to get the most out of the weekend as there is a ton of content presented in a very short time. I have been investing for almost 20 years now and the Rule #1 process is the best method for learning to invest I have seen. Rather than being overwhelmed with jargon Phil and his team give you a few key metrics to focus on and show you how to actually value a company. You then learn a few simple technical analysis techniques and a few options strategies that you can start employing immediately. Whether you are brand new to investing or a seasoned investor you will come away from this workshop with valuable insights into what a sound investing framework looks like.

Phil Town is the Robin Hood for the retail investor. Yes, you have to put in the work and effort, but you can learn how to invest and trade in a safe way and in a very professional environment with great people and support.

I was amazed at the level of knowledge I was given when I attended. It made me want to learn even more. Engaging and knowledgeable instructors. It was life changing for me.

I joined Rule #1 with zero experience in finance and I have grown my account significantly even just starting out with a few basic maneuvers put of the many that have been taught to us. I love the team, everyone has great attitudes and are fun and relatable people. I am do grateful to have found these guys. Phil and his team really care about sharing their lessons learned and their strategies for investing and trading so that you can follow Rule 1! The course is fun and extremely educational, a great mix of theory, demos, and hands on practice. If all you learned was how to assess a company for the 3Ms, and calculating an on sale price, you would be on the right path to invest like Warren Buffett. But there is much more that they offer, along with a great team of coaches and admin that make you feel like part of the family!

Phil and his team are the most knowledgable people I have met teaching how to invest properly. The workshop will introduce students to how to think about investing, not just what to do. I learned the basics of evaluating a company, how to buy a company I want to own forever, and how to trade companies I did not want to own forever. Well worth the time!!
Phil also has a couple of books I found incredibly useful in preparation for the workshop. His daughter, Danielle, also has a book which is very useful when preparing to attend. I recommend reading his first book and her book prior to attending to get the basic language down so when you show up, you can participate in the class as an informed student.

I don't want to be hyperbolic, but I found the Transformational Investing Workshop from Rule 1 to be truly life-changing. Prior to the workshop I had money in the stock market based on vibes as to what industries I thought would be experiencing tailwinds, but I had no clue what made for a great business.

The 3-Day workshop made me look at investing not just like "taking a flyer" in the market, but as something that could be done with a system to really understand how to value and buy businesses, as well as giving me a primer on options and how they might be used to generate cashflow or reduce the basis of a wonderful company that I want to own a part of.

It truly is an exceptional teaching tool for allowing people to use understandable methodologies in order to preserve and grow their capital, often their retirement funds, in a low-risk, rewarding way.

Taking control of your finances is one of the most powerful thing you can do. Rule 1 will give you the education you need to learn how to invest so that you are not working for 40 years at a job you hate. Just do it. You won't regret it.

The class was very helpful in helping me understand the mentality of thinking like an owner rather than just looking red and green arrows. There is also a way to make immediate cashflow throught options which I never thought I could learn. Highly recommend for anyone beginner like myself.
