Excellent teaching on how to identify wonderful business, and then put a value to them. After that, turbocharge cash flow with option trading strategies. I love that they didn't try to sell me anything. It changed my financial future. I can now retire with ease and comfort.

This workshop changed the course of my life. It may sound too good to be true but after I attended the workshop, I made a pivot from being a healthcare worker to investing as my primary form of income and passion.

Since taking Phil Town’s weekend course with my son in 2018, the Rule #1 investing process has been truly life-changing. Learning how to identify and value wonderful companies gave me a completely new level of confidence as an investor. Over time, I was fortunate to move from student to coach, and I now help teach and support others through our monthly virtual classes. It’s incredibly rewarding to see students apply these principles, take control of their financial futures, and feel empowered in their investing decisions.

If someone is interested in investing in the stock market, Rule One investing teaches what you need to know to invest wisely. I totally walked away from investing in the stock market. I decided to reenter the market after taking training with Rule One and have been successful.

The 3 day workshop was amazing. I was worried it would be a sales session, but there was no selling at all. Hard hitting business seminar that I wished they had taught me in my MBA. I now have the experience to manage my retirement investments and feel so much more better about my future.

It was really good. I enjoyed and learned a lot of new things :) I am a bit disappointed that they do not have more, only 3 days, and it is the same. I would do a more improved course with them.

I gained a lot of insight on how to value a business. I also came to understand myself better as an investor as I became more aware of my strengths and weaknesses.

My only issue is that a considerable portion of the workshop is devoted to options trading. I am only interested in learning how to value a business and understanding how markets work. Options trading, on the other hand, is short-term and like gambling.

Again, I learned a lot and it was a worthwhile experience. If we had ignored options trading to go even deeper into business valuations, I would have given this workshop a perfect score.

They made the process of investing simple, understandable, and removed the fears and myths of learning how it works. Also a step by step method to learn the fundamentals, get the proper information, put it into practice, and get started investing properly.

First let me say thank you to all of the R1 team for your hard work and willingness to give up your time for the students.

I failed to connect terms and formulas for the proper applications to ascertain information needed to learn the R1 philosophies.

Then I had difficulty using just my laptop and trying to watch the coaches and refer back to my workbook, toolbox and never found the correct page although I was in the sink or swim site.

These difficulties were cause for me leaving the seminar with little or no confidence in applying what you were teaching.

With that being said I have promised myself to look up and study terminology, contact support so I can get onto the correct page for sink or swim practice, and more forward with my efforts to learn the applications of R1. I feel defeated and I don’t like losing so I’m going to get it right through research and further interaction with R1.

If nothing else I have learned what to look for and where to get information. I need to learn how to apply my information to the formulas.

I would do much better in a classroom situation.

Good pace, good amount of break outs versus straight lectures. Provided good complimentary matierals

The lessons and instructions are clear and professional.

I like that Phil is very much hands-on with the training and he doesn't pass it off to his team, who are all very informative and enlightening. Also, I liked the training on multiple different ways of investing.

Lecture followed by Break Out Sessions is a great way to learn and then put knowledge to practice right away.

I'd worked hard to build a meaningful and successful career, but as a single mom at 40, realized I had no control or understanding of my or my family's financial future... so I set out to take that control back. This weekend substantially exceeded my expectations. The Toolbox is incredible and mirrors Phils teaching in his 3 NYT Bestsellers on Investing. Rule #1 shared the Ruler Story Form focusing on 3 ways to value a business along with sharing evidence of Guru Superinvestors' Mindsets and or teams that may have or currently hold a potential similar business. Also discussed were ways to generate cash flow while waiting for a potential incredible business to go on sale in this historically overvalued market. Concepts explained were: Why Small Investors have an edge, Tranching, Portfolio Allocations, Favorite Books, Option Trading strategies including Hedging, ARORC's, How to reduce basis and more! Phil has decades of real world Investing experience and he shares so much - I didn't want the workshop to end. This was a life changing weekend for me and my Family. This training was life changing. The weekend is filled with practical information on how to analyze companies and how to invest using value investing. It also taught us how to use brokerage tools to do the options trades to reduce cost basis. I had taken a Value Investing course from Columbia University prior, which gave me the foundation, but Rule 1 taught the practical tools to implement it. Highly Recommended if you want to take control of your future!
