River Island Anmeldelser 

Despite River Island telling me to email them (no response after 24 automatic re-sends) to give me their £9 discount promised on the bag I ordered - NOTHING!!! Is it really that hard to track me??? oh and they sent the wrong bag as well. So River Island it's over to you - transaction was 24th October. Never again.

I am back on here again as STILL no response to numerous emails about shoes I never received on the 8th October...they responded on here to email which I did and then once again just ignored. My order number is 84592243. Can you please look into it. Don't tell me email because check all previous emails with details etc. The worst customer service! I will never ever ever shop online again with River Island!

I purchasd a puffer coat in the sale today. The coat was a good fit and was offered at a discount so I was pleased to buy it. There was no indication that there was anything wrong with the coat...until I checked it out at home.
First thing ..there were two PO receipts dated 7 months previous in one coat pocket
Second thing a large hole in the main rhs pcket of the coat. . Apparently, there should have been a label attached to the coat indicating faulty goods. There wasn't!. No compensation was offered for the cost of returning the shoddy goods back to the store. Clearly it had not been checked since its return some months before and River Island were unable to find another jacket like it so I left empty handed
Needless to say, I will not be back to this shop

I ordered something in July and returned a few days after and I am still chasing for a refund! I wouldn’t bother ordering anything online unless you want to wait nearly 4 months for a refund I have called a few times and I’m being told it’s being sorted, I’ll get a call back but neither happens!! I literally returned one item!!. I mean it’s quite surprising for river island since they have been around longer than most online shops but definitely won’t be shopping with them again way to much hassle!!!

How I wish I could give a zero star rating ! Worst customer service ever ! Worse company ever ! Never again!

I received a cardigan that was already worn with a strong smell of perspiration and a missing button . Shame on River Island. This is unacceptable and it is indeed a massive disgrace.

I have been a loyal customer for over fifteen years and I think is about time to bid River Island goodbye!!!

Whenever I've had problems (very rarely) with items its always sorted out immidiately.

Awful customer service. Ordered a dress in a 18, they sent a size 12 and they expect me to return it and reorder it? They even told me to drive to a store to give it back which with the cost of living would be more than the dress?! Absolutely disgusted. Poor attitude and pathetic response

Absolutely appaling customer sevice. I ordered a handbag and purse set , purse never arrived ! I am now expected to return it , wait for a refund and then re-order. I contacted them immediately via contact form no response from River island. I phoned today and this is what I was told.

I placed a large order and then the order was lost and nobody was interested in it at all, finally after many letters they returned the money. The second thing is that I have written many times when they will finally make free international returns like Asos has to parcel machines, unfortunately no response and every time they have to pay 20-30 pounds for an international return.międzynarodowy

Faulty zip for the second time!!
Seeing as their bags are fairly pricey for high street goods you would expect them to last longer than 8 months. I originally bought a bag and the zip broke within a week so I took it back thinking I was just unlucky- they replaced it- now 8 months in and the same thing has happened and I went back to the shop to explain in Eastbourne but there’s nothing they can do! Poor poor products and poor poor customer service I won’t be buying anything from there again that’s for sure. Very disappointing

Some of the best made clothes around…. I never shop anywhere else now! Sizing can run very small but the quality of the clothes are outstanding

Today i visited the store in the Derbion Shopping Mall in Derby. I was losing the will to live trying to get an outfit for a Black n White Party coming up… The two staff members that helped me today were amazing… i also work in retail and have to say when you get excellent customer service it should be fed back to the store… and recognised ,i didn't get their names but they went above n beyond and helped me solve my dilemma…so professional, polite and extremely helpful .. I was told they are moving site to one further down the Mall i haven't really shopped much before there but will now!! I look forward to the new bigger store …

Ordered two pairs of Molly jeans in size 14 Long. The inside leg measurement on both of them was 29"........waste of time and effort.

Horrible horrible river island i never will buy anything from this shop, I bought a two dresses and they haven’t send me one of the dress, I received just one and i email them and at first they said they will refund me and next day they said we will not refund your money so horrible I asked why they said it’s our decision I lost £55 without sending my item, I asked them to send me a complain form they said we will send you through email but they never did never ever will buy anything

I spent over £300+ and the clothes quality is very poor. I would never recommend purchasing from Riverisland. This is the poorest quality received. I had higher expectations from River island for the price being paid.

Purchased the pink ombré cardigan SKU6048549 for £45. It is so lovely, beautiful colours. However I feel it wasn’t worth £45. Also the buttons, although very pretty, do not go easily through the button holes. In time I think it will make the buttonholes big. I am keeping it but will have to careful when undoing and fastening buttons.

Bought a €17 pair of leggings that may as well be plastic there so see through and before you ask I bought one size up just in case 😡 wore them 5 times in a three wk period and they raveled not where you might think they raveled on my thigh the bloodiest skinest part of me

Asked to return an item on the 28th day as advertised but told I was 9 days over the deadline despite covid isolation, Christmas and New Year holidays.
This piece of clothing is pure tat and not worth the money either.
Will never shop their again and would never recommend them to others. You certainly get what you pay for with this lot. Steer well clear!

Just had the best customer service experience from Hannah at the Orbital branch in Swindon. So polite and helpful, couldn't have done more to help us.

Appalling customer service. I ordered a checked shirt and it all was"despatched" When somehow i tracked my parcel and its was canceled. Tried contacting river island a few times. Dont reccomend river island.
