I've been ordering Rise Coffee boxes for over a year now and I'm such a fan - every month I look forward to getting my next box and trying out this month's coffee selection.
All the coffees I've received so far are fantastic and incredibly flavoursome. It's clear a lot of thought and care goes into the selection process and I don't think I'd ever go back to struggling to choose in the supermarket!
I also really love their impacts too - the coffee they choose has notes about where it's from, they give back 1% to supporting coffee growing communities, the packaging is plastic free and easily recyclable and they're a certified B Corp!
And if you ever need any help with your order, they're very friendly and super quick to assist!
To anyone considering a Rise Coffee Box subscription, do it! You won't be disappointed at all! 😊

Edited review to 4* after having a pleasant experience with the team there.
The ordering process was relatively straightforward and the price (including usual discounts) was quite good. But the coffee that I received was roasted 2 weeks** (edited for accuracy) before it was shipped. It is meant to be fresh, specially selected coffee. Which is not what I received.

Quick delivery and fairly priced.

This was a long process so I might have forgotten some details but...

I ordered from them 2 September. A box with 4 coffees and paid delivery because I live in Ireland. It took 2 weeks before I heard anything about delivery. Then it said it was processing in Dublin for 2 or 3 weeks so I reached out to support. They apologised and said they'd look into it and after another week or two I reached out again and they said they didn't have any response from royal mail and offered me a refund or to send Octobers shipment. I wanted to try them so I opted for October's shipment and after a week or two I got an email from FedEx saying it's shipping and that took around 4 days. So eventually I got my coffee around 30 October. Nearly 2 months after ordering it.

I've not actually tried it yet but they added a bag of decaf for me to try as a gesture of good will.

I would say he careful ordering from abroad or at least don't expect it in a hurry but otherwise I can certainly recommend it because the customer service team have your back no matter what happens. They were understanding, empathetic, polite and professional the whole time.

Seems like value for money (that's why I chose it in the first place) and the coffee obviously depends on the roaster themselves anyway.

If you understand these things going in then it's a no brainer - especially if you live in the UK and don't have customs.

My free gift was broken, I contacted the guys and within days a replacement was sent to me!! Amazing service

Looks great though and was tempted to keep it for myself!!

I never received my trial box but was still charged postage. I have emailed them so will update on whether they respond.

UPDATE: Alice has swiftly responded to my email with a sincere apology and is sending out a trial box with 24 hour tracking. Great customer service!

I had a minor issue with an advent calendar gift being sent before the requested date so contacted Rise Coffee customer services. Wow! So helpful! Genuinely the best customer service I've had in years. And it was so nice to be in communication with a real human without being questioned by a bot first! It was only a minor problem but Jen treated it seriously and went out of her way to make sure I was happy with the outcome. Based on this experience I'm already planning another purchase.

I came across Rise Coffee through a promotional offer from a MyProtein purchase.

I recently purchased an espresso machine and thought this would be a great opportunity to use my new machine.

I was not wrong! I’ve been incredibly impressed with how great their coffee is, but not only that, their customer service is top quality.

The quality of service and coffee makes their subscription service an incredible value for money and I cannot recommend enough!

I've had quite a few coffee subscriptions in my time and have really enjoyed risecoffeebox.co.uk. what I like is the variety of coffee you get which tastes amazing but is also presented so well, I also like the little touches you get as a customer, A booklet that explains where the coffee is from and how best to brew it, but I also really like the personal touches that you get sometime you get a few freebies like snacks/ Milk and chocolate sprinkles, these little touches in my opinion have set them apart from other subscriptions in the past, I mean who doesn't like a freebie on top of excellent coffee.

Everything about this has been tremendous fun. I personally love the mystery of trying different coffees and the first box did not disappoint. A couple of bespoke coffee brands have come into my life and I already love both styles. They're a hit at the office too, but I need to hide the packets before it goes too soon! Appreciate the snacks in the box too, along with the helpful guide to both of my coffees. You can't go wrong at price either. Really happy with my purchase.

Highlight of the month! They always deliver the most special coffee. It's a great way to get to know independent roasters and enjoy variety in your morning cup of coffee! I recommend it to everyone 🩵

I ordered a single one off box and thank goodness it wasn't a subscription.
The box arrived with only 2 different coffees in it and both tasted awful what a waste of £ 39.

Got this as a gift my coffee obsessed husband and he loved it! Really good value, lovely presentation in the box. Recommend for a coffee enthusiast! Ordering was really easily too

A nice idea, and a treat. I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but I really enjoyed a one-off box. I would definitely buy one again as a gift or treat when having coffee drinkers to stay.
Some lovely flavours and aromas. Beautifully packaged.

Order not shipped, now overdue.
No reply to emails
No phone number to call.
Keeping customer informed is step 1 to customer satisfaction, for Rise this seems to be an inconvenience

I have just received my second order and have so far been super impressed. It's a very crowded market so naturally you are going to try a few different options but Rise is a solid choice. Amazing value and quality. Not only has their choice of coffee so far been outstanding but for this most recent order I even received a free full carton of barista quality oat milk. Needless to say it was enough to keep me as a future customer. I use a Sage Barista Express and have found that these beans still produce excellent coffee even up to a month after I receive them which indicates the beans are shipped straight after they have been roasted. They also have a lovely family feel and you can tell they put a huge amount of effort into their company and love what they do. Nice one Rise

As a subscription service, it’s pretty seamless. Payment taken and coffee shipped promptly, I’ve admittedly forgotten about it and get a little buzz of delight at my email saying my next box is due. Efficient and easy. And the coffees always really well packed and delivery prompt.

It’s a little pricier than you’d pay in a shop, but that comes with the service and presumably also the quality and ethics behind the coffee.

Unfortunately one of my boxes came with 2 bags, not my usual 4. I sent an email to the team and had a response faster than my Springer if she got hold of the box. No quibbling, just a friendly, helpful conversation between Ben and Jen to understand what happened and get a second box with the missing bags sent out. I got that within the same week. Brilliant customer service.

Really happy with the quality of the coffee (the recent two chimps beans might be my favourite ever!) and really glad I picked this up. I’d never heard of them before LNER perks!
