I discovered a pre owned Suzuki Ignis at Richmond Botley.
Having taken up the offer of a test drive, Kyle Lee the sales person went through the history and specification of the vehicle.
He checked if it was the right car for me and it's intended use, at no time did I feel under pressure to buy.
Having agreed on the price the vehicle had a service & MOT prior to the day of purchase, I found the car well presented and drove away happy.

Excellent service. Sadie was wonderful.
From start to finish, guiding me through the finance and helping me choose the vehicle right for me.
And an after sale phone call, to check I was happy and everything was right with the car.
I can highly recommend.

Well, they say never trust a car salesperson.
But you definitely can with Suzuki Botley.
Sadie was wonderful from start to finish.
She worked so hard to get me the right car and finance deal.
Constantly keeping me updated and making sure the car was just what I wanted. Sadie even collected me, knowing I was without transport.

Just bought a car from Kevin Lobley, the service from start to finish was exemplary. He sourced the right car with a better specification than we requested and the delivery was second to none. Would have no hesitation in doing future business with this dealership.

Very helpful and friendly team, we dealt with Sadie who was amazing. Although we didn't purchase the car (it just wasn't for us) i would highly recommend the team, very professional and informative. If we had have found the car we wanted i would have every confidence we would have had a very smooth transaction.

Great service, couldn't fault it

I found the staff to be very friendly. They want to do the best for their clients and are justifiably proud of the service they provide. They went the extra mile to ensure we received the car in the best condition possible. I highly recommend this company.

Dealt with the team at Botley Suzuki and bought a used Mazda. Some issues with the spec of the car and whether car was nav ready or not; in the end we will have to take it to Mazda to get this activated so not as straightforward as we had hoped.

Plenty of enthusiasm from the team. Attention to detail on delivery not as strong as the sales process with our delivery date having to be swapped due to staff shortages and the spare wheel was still wrapped and not placed in the boot. We had to point this out before we could drive away.

In all fairness the staff are a nice bunch to deal with; Kevin holds the team together well and goes the extra mile to help so a big thank you to him for ensuring that we were happy. Only been a couple of days but waiting an after sales call; a tyre pressure light has been permanently on since collecting the car so we need to see if we can sort this out with the dealer or get it fixed under warranty.

Good sales and customer focus. Went in to look at 2013 Golf and came out with 2016 VW Scirocco. Delighted!

From my first point of enquiry at Botley, Sadie was so welcoming and friendly making me feel very comfortable. There was no pressured sales as I’ve experienced at other car sales places. Sadie answered all my questions so I could understand them finding out from the beginning what I wanted from a car and what was important. She was really helpful and even took time to explain all the gadgetry to me before I drove off in my ‘new’ used car, making it clear I can return at any time for help (or a decent coffee!) in the future. Jeff was also really helpful and supported me through the purchase process. If you’re thinking of buying a new or used car, I cannot recommend Sadie and Jeff highly enough.

I won't be going back.
First meeting, lovely, friendly, promised the earth, we paid for insurance, parking permits and then we came down from London and Newbury to collect and drive it back. My view is that they lacked honesty and integrity. Yuck. Hated the experience. Annoyingly, they didn’t have to lie and if they had been honest it would have been better for everyone. Reminds me why people say things about used car salespeople. Thumbs down for Jeff who seems to have knowingly lied and Sadie who was the messenger for it all and responsible for the lack of openness on #3. Here are a few things that happened:
1. Me: "There is a small chip in the windscreen" > Jeff "We'll fill it, no problem" > PAID DEPOSIT, DRIVE BACK TO COLLET CAR 7 DAYS LATER > "It’s still there, it wasn't fixed" > Sadie: "Jeff did the gel fix himself, its fixed" > “Why can I still see it and get my nail in it?” > "That's how it's supposed to be" > "Can you show us proof that is was done" > "No, but it was done with other cars on one invoice" > "Can you take responsibility for not fixing it if it gets bigger" > "No".
2. Me: "There are LOADS of pain chips over all over the bonnet and sides, wow" > Jeff: "We can fix them up for you" .... "They are worse now, you've missed loads and the ones that have been 'fixed' looks like they have been done by a child with a matt black sharpie, it’s ruined the pain finish"> (Sadie avoids eye contact and goes to check with the ‘boss’ several times…) "It's retail standard" > "Why did you offer to fix it and then make it worse?" > "Have a touch up kit" (an old pot from 2013 or something with no legible text)
3. Sadie: "Every car comes with a 130 point check and this one has a full service history and still time on the warranty, it’s a great little car" (with paperwork held in front of her > "Great" … “Here is all your paperwork” > “Oh, this is news, 4 advisory warnings from the last service, why didn’t you mention these last week” > “It’s a used car, of course it will have things wrong with it” > “Wouldn’t it have been more honest just tell us last week” (Sadie avoids eye contact).
4. The cleaning was also very poor. Still very dusty when we collected it and boot dirty etc. The busy road was blamed but it absolutely was not cleaned, still had some leaves inside the boot and a thick layer of dust on windscreen in the corners.
5. Sadie: “well if you aren’t happy we’ll give you a full refund on your deposit” > “As you know we’ve just travelled a long way to get here, and spend money sorting out the insurance/permits”.
They were mostly cosmetic, small things, so we decided to proceed but made it very clear we weren’t happy about the above and are fairly sure they lied about #1. The experience from visit 1 to visit 2 was distinctly different. I won’t buy anything from those two again, no matter how friendly they are on visit 1, trust is broken.

These guys where absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Would highly recommend buying a car from this company.

Having had a very poor experience with Richmond Havant I took a chance and went to the Botley Branch as they had a car in stock I wanted to see (although the manager at Havant told me it was sold which was not true after a call to confirm by myself).
When I arrived at Botley it was such a different experience. Sadie looked after me and nothing was an issue. I also had my 3 year old with me and all the staff were great with him. Sadie did not pressure me to buy the car and a fair deal was done. Jeff the manager was also very good and listened to our wants and needs. I live 70 miles from the garage but because of the customer service I would definitely go back there and deal with Sadie again.
Sadie returned emails and called when she said she would. She is a credit to Richmond.

I have had a very good experience, Sadie was very helpful & done everything to answer any questions.

We received excellent care and Sadie couldn't do enough to help us find the right car for us. She wasn't at all pushy and made us feel really comfortable to explore what they had to offer with no pressure for an instant purchase like we previously experienced else where, we can not recommend Sadie and her team enough. They even provided the 3 year old with colouring to do while the boring bits took place and the hot chocolate was the icing on the cake.

We bought a Suzuki Vitara from Richmond Suzuki a year ago but unfortunately due to health issues my partner needed to change to an automatic car, we had many options but decided to go to Richmonds first as they were so good last year. We made an appointment to go in and speak to Sam our salesman who was extremely sympathetic to our predicament and straight away got onto a solution after assessing our requirements for a new vehicle, Sam was Knowledgeable, courteous and efficent throughout the Whole process.
We didn't really expect a solution straight away but after talking to Sam and Jeff the sales manager (also very helpful) we test drove a Top quality second hand automatic car, and on return sealed the deal so to speak and arranged to collect the new car 4 days later.
We got a very fair P/X for the Vitara, and after a few days owning the new car are extremely happy with it.
We cannot recommend Richmond Suzuki at Botley enough and would recommend them not only to friends and family but to all of you have taken the time to read this review.
