After two months of booking our MG for warranty problems and booking a courtesy car we were told that no courtesy car was available!
We then hadn't to rebook for another 2 weeks time. Very poor service.

Dan made our experience enjoyable and kept me informed of every step of the process.

He also took the time to show me all the instruments in the car and gave me the opportunity to test drive the car.

I would definitely use MG again.

Only giving 1 star as it doesn’t allow any less! Having read the other 1 star reviews it seems we’re not alone with how they’ve treated us. Quite possibly the WORST garage ever. Absolutely terrible communication, if you’re lucky enough to speak to someone you’re promised a call back which never happens. Been waiting 4 weeks for a call back from service to sort a hire car so the warranty work can be carried out. This is after they already had the vehicle for 10 days and couldn’t resolve any of the issues it was booked in for. They even told us there was nothing wrong with the car which resulted in us driving there to show them the problem! The car was originally booked in on 26th August and despite calling the garage at least 20 times and sending numerous emails we’re yet to hear back from anyone. Absolutely shocking customer service and has been way more stressful than it needs to be. AVOID.

Absolutely dreadful. I would never recommend this company let alone an MG ZS car! I have had my car for 4 and 1/2 years now it’s been in and out the garage more times than that with the same radio issues, my car was last in the garage less than 4 months ago for a radio module issue, now I have a radio module disconnected message appear so again cannot change the channel or listen to the radio, the amount of money you pay for these cars and there utter rubbish!
Let alone the customer service team you try and ring they don’t answer I’ve emailed several team members including the manager numerous of times and get no response back, it’s absolute disgusting and I have had enough!!! This can’t keep happening every so many month.

From the start to the end great experience. We only went to look around without thought to buy new car. Ended up buying new one. Daniel was extremely helpful and made everything feel understandable and stress free. Process of buying and exchanging old car was so easy thanks to Daniel. What a great member of staff he is. Welcoming,friendly and caring. Thank you.

Working 9-5 it seemed incredibly difficult to organise a pick up of our new car, couldn’t be done on a Saturday unless before 1pm and I already had an appointment. Eventually said Friday at 5.30 but had to pay before picking up the car as accounts would be closed seemed obstacles at every point. Guy we dealt with very pleasant but then in picking up the car we realised the tax had to be done at post office due to the car being registered as disabled previously, surely this should have been looked into prior to our pick up. Happy with car but felt we just had to do what we were told re pick up, left a bit of a sour taste to be honest, let’s give the customer some say please as I am the buyer and you should bend over backwards to give great customer satisfaction .

i came into mg portsmouth. i was greeted by the salesman olly and he took me for a test drive in a 2024 mg3 hybrid and i really enjoyed the feel of the car. i then found a car online and came into the dealership to test drive that. Olly showed brilliant professionalism and explained the process clearly to me.

Unscheduled drop in , we were seen by with Sundeep. He was endlessly patient and very helpful. Great service. Thoroughly recommend.

Unfortunately, my experience with this Citroën service centre has been extremely disappointing.
I originally brought my vehicle to them for repairs and ended up having several major components replaced, including the clutch and flywheel. I paid a significant amount of money for the work.
After collecting the vehicle, further problems appeared. The car later developed gearbox-related issues and I had to return for further investigation. An independent mechanic subsequently changed the gearbox oil and the problem disappeared.
More recently, the clutch that was replaced by this garage started making a loud noise when the clutch pedal is pressed. The vehicle has now been returned to them so that they can investigate and repair the issue.
One of my biggest frustrations throughout my experience with this garage has been the availability of courtesy cars. Whenever I need to bring my vehicle back for repairs, there never seems to be a courtesy car available unless I am prepared to wait a long time for an appointment.
This is particularly disappointing in the current situation. I am returning because of a problem with a clutch that they replaced only several months ago, yet I have still been left without a vehicle because no courtesy car was available.
I understand that courtesy cars cannot always be guaranteed, but when a customer has already paid a substantial amount for major repairs and then has to return because of a possible issue with that work, I would expect better support and aftercare.
I have kept the invoices, booking information and correspondence relating to the repairs and subsequent issues.
Based on my experience, I am very disappointed with the overall level of aftercare and customer support.
