I recently purchased a BMW from Reverie Autos and couldn’t be happier with the experience. I needed the car delivered to North Yorkshire at rather unsociable hours, and the team went above and beyond to make it happen. The communication throughout was excellent – special thanks to Mohaned and Charlene for their help. The car itself is absolutely spot on: it drives beautifully and has clearly been very well cared for. I’m really pleased with both the service and the vehicle.

We are pleased to provide a very positive review of Reverie Autos who went out of their way to ensure we, the customer, were totally happy with the purchase. This company was unknown to us when we approached them through Autotrader to view a 21 plate Mercedes GLA250e. The sales team were helpful in arranging a test drive and in providing a full history of the car and the experience was relaxed . The after sales service has proved to be excellent too and the team arranged for the collection and replacement of defective chrome work without any hassle. The whole staff, including the administrators and particularly Alex, were polite and could not have been more helpful and made the whole experience of buying a used car from Reverie a pleasant experience. This firm have provided by far the best used car service we have ever had and we highly recommend them. We shall have no hesitation in returning at some time in the future.

I had waited 2 years to write this review, so I speak the truth
I had financed a Peugeot Car from this company about 2 years ago … just under 5 months into the owning the car, it began to show serious faults. One day driving all the car alarms were going off. I had to pull off to the side and turn the car off. Who knew for a whole month the car would not start. I had to contact AA to get the car back to my house and wait one month for an appointment with Peugeot to fix this. Immediately when this happened I had contacted Reverie Auto about this, saying this should not be happening especially as it was within 6 months of purchase (I did this through Auto Traders). To put things into perspective, the car had never been in an accident with me at this time, it was a 68 plate car with only 19,000 miles at the time. (Which later we found that the mileage had been changed from 30,000 to 19,000 just before I financed it - my partner had to do extra digging to find this information). The faults were showing gearbox fault, engine fault, hill start fault, tyre pressure faults .. all faults that can be imagined with the car. On top of this the car AC also does not work ..
Once I managed to get the car to Peugeot they wanted to charge almost £2,000 to fix it, and to do a major service which was additional £470 as they had no record of the car ever being serviced. I contacted Reverie Auto about this, (unfortunately I am not allowed to mention the name as this what took my review down in the first place) initially they said there was nothing they can do about it and the car had been serviced but it was not a full service done by manufacturer (they only did an oil change at a random mechanic) . I then had my partner speak to them and they offered £350 towards the repair (don’t know why when I spoke to them they said the couldn’t do anything) . After the repairs took place the issues continued to keep happening, I would drive for about an hour, sometimes even less and once the car has been turned off it will not turn on again, sometimes I would wait over 1hr to get the car started again. I took it to Peugeot about 6 times maybe even more, left the car with them for days for it to be fixed, and still the same issues were occurring. I contacted Reverie Auto again about this and was told, I say no lie ‘The finance company has paid us our money so it has nothing to do with us anymore’. I really couldn’t not believe this is what I was being told.
I then went to speak to the finance company about this (CA Auto Finance is the company). Again I was told there was nothing they can do as the fault could not be shown at time of purchase however it was the ECU unit (the main component of the car) is not working, that is it clearly an inherited fault, and as the fault is intermittent there was no way I could tell at point of purchase the fault was there. They offered me £100 as a ‘sorry’. Which I refused. Considering there were months, weeks and days at a time I would not be using the car but still keeping up will all my finance payments. I asked the company is there anyway to exchange the car, I had even stated that I’m willing to pay the same amount monthly even if the car is swapped for something of less value but they rejected this offer.
I had then contacted the ombudsman, first it gets assigned to an investigator, who could clearly could see something was wrong. My investigator agreed with what was said and wrote a proposal of how to make this right. Again the CA Auto finance rejected this, they offered a repair, which I rejected considering almost £2.5k was already paid from my own pocket to fix this. Bear in mind Reverie Auto did nothing during this time, no follow up no support literally nothing anything.
After a year of waiting for a decision from the FOB, it finally worked in my favour and we managed to get the car taken away no additional cost to me plus compensation.
Please be cautious!

Its a rare quality these days to find someone so polite, helpful, informative and willing to advise on the best course of action even if its not to their benefit. I came to see and drive their BMW Touring. While I was out they checked out my car and gave me an honest appraisal and the best way to go about selling it. I wish all dealers were like this. I can 100% recommend them.

1 million stars if I could give it! Sadeq and Hamid were amazing! I didn’t go and see the car but the video updates were enough! Every step they did from the inspection, to when the car had been washed to when it was getting its ceramic coating and alloys touched up, they provided me with a video. I absolutely love the car it is in great condition and well taken care of. These guys helped me source the car and it does not disappoint.

Also shout out to Alex who delivered the car he went through the car throughly with me to make sure I am happy and showed me everything I needed to know! Really appreciate the team and would definitely use again in the future.

The 4 star rating was based on my honest review from start to finish and did receive a good level of service, aftercare service was equally very good.
I wasn’t left with much room to negotiate as I was hoping but nonetheless it was fine. They did manage to give me 12 months MOT and Fix the dent. The valet was ok although not to high expectation. On the whole a very good purchase. The sales agent did his best to get some of my requests through and overall relatively pleased with the car.
