This is not worth the money. If you are looking for some help with your resume you should find someone that you can speak with directly and communicate with to do the job. The writers here do put in effort but there is no direct communication between the writer and the customer. I spent a pretty decent amount of money and ended up with a product that I had to spend hours re writing to be useful as a resume for me.
EDIT: Might be worthwhile at less than half of what it costs but that's still a maybe.

Resume101.org writes garbage. They don't appear to value their clientele and seem solely concerned with you clicking the "approve" button.

I was looking for a resume writing service to re-write my professional resume prior to a job search. I found that many of the good sites were significantly more expensive than what I found on resume101.org.

I felt it couldn't be that expensive to achieve the same outcome, but in hindsight, you get what you pay for.

After waiting the six(6) days for the re-write, the first draft was an extremely poorly formatted word document template; it didn't even include all of the relevant information from my source resume. After rejecting the first draft, they sent me something that at least didn't look worse than my existing resume. There were some weird sentences in the document though. Throughout this discourse, they kept calling it a "paper". The interactions with their support team do not seem like you are talking to a native english speaker.

Before clicking approve, I asked about the LinkedIn profile update I had purchased. Not only did they send me credentials to SOMEONE ELSE's PROFILE, it wasn't complete and didn't include any resume components. They didn't provide content to which I could update MY profile.

When I asked about a refund, they kept delaying. I said I wanted to see the finished resume without the very distracting watermarks of their draft and they said I would have to click "approve". So I clicked approve and got the draft. It still needed work (think word document template again).

I never got my LinkedIn profile updated and they referred me to their customer service agent of [redacted] who argued with me for several days over email. Not only did this customer service agent discourse prove unfruitful in getting a refund since they didn't fulfil my request, it was aggrevating.

Don't choose this resume writing service. Spend the money and go to a more professional shop.

TDLR: They're not good writers. After many revisions I still saw grammatical errors, odd sentence structures, and confusing paragraphs. Reads like a bot is doing the writing and its not very good. Had to fight to get a partial refund.

Long version: I was hopeful for this service but overwhelmingly disappointed in the quality of writing and frustrating communication. I ordered a resume and cover letter for assistance in career change. I provided my existing resume and some draft paragraphs/bullet points of things to convey in my cover letter- but let them know the writer had free reign to write as they saw fit (no need to copy paste my cover letter notes). The resume they provided basically took my existing resume and placed into a different basic template- it was fine but not worth the cost if you already have a resume. They didnt update any of the text other than the statement of intent I asked them to add- a poorly written one was added. I wasnt happy with resume but I could live with it. Cover letter on the other hand was completely unusable and barely comprehensible. I kept sending it back for revision but nothing was being fixed [well enough]. They use intermidiaries between the writer and whoever you chat with so I'm not sure if this was due to breakdown in communication or if they just have bad writers. After several revisions I kept asking for a refund on the cover letter which they kept avoiding and offering a second writer. I agreed but only if they agreed the new writer would get one attempt and if I wasnt happy I would get my cover letter refund. New writer wasn't any better and I didn't want to lose any more time on this as it was already delaying my job hunt. I had to go back and forth until i finally got a manager who gave me a partial refund for the cover letter. I'm ok with this as they did some work but seeing how what they gave me was unusable imo I couldnt stomach paying that much for nothing [usable]. They have quick response times and decent customer service but they just did not understand what I needed. Product read as if little effort was put in.

If you have very specific needs I would recommend finding a writing professional on upwork that clearly has the experience, credentials, and specific reviews to back up their work.

If you just need a quick standard resume and cover letter go with an automated service like job hero. For a fraction of the cost that bot did way better than resume101.

I paid $222.26 to resume101 to write me a cover letter, resume and improve my LinkedIn profile, as I already had one. After 15 days of waiting I received 2 documents that were totally useless and no change to my LinkedIn profile even though the writer said they had made alterations. None of which I could see.
When I first looked at ‘Resume101’ I was having problems making payment online, within seconds I received a phone call from +1 888-244-6213 telling me how to make payment and that she will make it easier by sending me a link. The woman on the other end was definitely of Asian origin and now I have asked for a refund I have had to wait 5 days (and I’m still waiting) to get a final response about my refund.
The resume was filled with grammatical errors, poor punctuation, made up information and also removed information relative to the industry I hope to work in. The layout was atrocious, there were margins along the side which had no purpose, the colour and banner design was ugly and not fitting to the industry I am trying to get work in, the education section was split over 2 pages making it look terrible and headers were changed to poor alternatives e.g. what used to be ‘achievements’ is now labelled ‘other activities’. After expressing my feelings to support I was offered for someone professional to take over. The package I paid for was called ‘Professional’. I told them ‘why would I want another person to write my resume, cover letter etc if the first person was so awful, I want a refund’. Even the person in support couldn’t word their responses without grammatical errors and included unnecessary punctuation. After a week of demanding a refund they wouldn’t even refund me the full amount, I only got 80% of my original payment. What a joke!!!!!

Two days ago, I asked this organization to write a resume, and yesterday I received it. So fast!! After several adjustments, my resume was done impeccably. My thanks and appreciation for such a good job.

I didn't know about Resume101 for a long time until I faced troubles with jobseeking. It was really hard to impress employees with my previous resume, but these pros helped me to complete an exceptional one! Now I only have to choose the best job offer I got!

The Web site claims the writer will be knowledgeable in your career field so the resume will be written well. I had to send the first draft back for revision due to many errors. It was actually revised not by the first writer, but by someone else. It came back in an hour with even more errors. The second person who "revised" the resume just cut and pasted my notes. There were numerous punctuation errors, awkward phrasing, spelling errors, grammar errors, too many spaces between words, and many other errors. I didn't accept the resume and requested a refund. I have been getting the run around when trying to get my money back. I keep getting told that Manager Bob is the only one who can refund my money. I was told by "Customer Service" that he has contacted my by email, which he never did. I called and was told he would call me. He never did. It has been extremely frustrating when trying to get a dispute resolved.

Their writers are amazing. They’ve managed to finish my resume and personal statement in the short term. I should say that they are the best. After all, I have no right to leave you without a feedback.

I was very skeptical about this service and many other similar resume services. However, when I had no other choice and needed urgent assistance with my CV, I ordered from resume101. I have to take my words back and admit that at least some services like resume101 are good and worth the money you pay them.
