Upset that after requesting a subscription fee refund after forgetting to cancel amongst the busy life of a baby and a toddler, and explaining the stress of not being able to afford this given I am on maternity leave, that my request was denied based on small print somewhere in the terms and conditions via a generic email. I have not used the service for numerous years, which I explained and which can be verified via the app. The fee is for the upcoming year and I raised on the day it was charged. The service has not been used at all.
I can see from other reviews this has happened to others.
I think it’s thoroughly disappointing that a company that claim to have genuine care for their community, would act in such an opportunistic and immoral way. Especially when they have a whole section dedicated to mums. You know it’s bad when your only defence is terms and conditions.
I have been pestered constantly via the app since cancelling, but not once did I have a reminder about the renewal. Supposedly an email is sent but I cannot locate this in inbox or junk and have yet to see proof. Why would you not use the (paid for) app to remind members? And why do you pester once someone has cancelled but not check in on those who have paid for the app but aren’t using it, if you care so much? One has to be wonder.

Would recommend!
Recently joined RWL after losing motivation on another app, was a bit unsure on signing up but really enjoying it so far!
Have just completed my First program and really enjoyed it (so much im forcing myself to have rest days!). Was just 25 minutes a day, energy from instructors was great, plenty of modifying options too (some moves i cannot physically do due to weird feet so this was a bonus for me!). I even managed to lose some cm's because it was so easy to be consistent!
Also love that there's live workout options and lots of recipies!
There's options to sync your watch and track etc but I haven't looked too much into this. Sometimes the app has a glitch and theres regular updates but I don't mind this!
Now looking at a next program to do on rwl!

Amazing wellness app
I've now completed many programs within the RWL app. There's such a range of different types of exercise programs on there, including cardio, pilates, yoga, weighted and many more...
I never get bored and I particularly love the live zoom sessions that are available to all members and it has the most amazing community.
All sessions can be done at home without needing to commute to a gym and you really do get a lot included for the price of a membership.

RWL is an inclusive, supportive, fitness and lifestyle app for all. The app covers all areas; fitness, nutrition, yoga, meditation, mobility sessions it really does have it all. You can really tailor make it your own and choose what style of workouts you want to focus on and delicious recipes that make it easier to keep on track with nutrition. The community is especially a brilliant addition to the app, you will find daily motivation and support from members, personal trainers and members of the team cheering you on in the community outlet, it really is such an uplifting community I feel proud to be part of.
I have recently completed sweat and shred this is a HIIT programme the trainers really encourage you from the start and help you believe you can do it, my results were not only weight loss but muscle definition and now increased energy and improved fitness levels. I started off with the 30 day challenge then new beginnings which I would say is a good place to start when returning or starting your fitness journey. The workout bank is brilliant and has a filter system to break your workouts down to 10 minutes if short on time or to select a type of workout such as walk to the beat or dance fit.
I would definitely recommend, there really is something for everyone.

Really upset that I cancelled my…
Really upset that I cancelled my membership 6 months into my yearly subscription as I never used the app to be charged £129.99 for another year. Unfortunately the email cannot be located and I have been told I should have done it on the app but I didn’t even have the app or used the email it was connected to. No compromise with a refund even though I asked immediately after payment was taken and explained what happened. This is supposed to be be a wellnes app to look after yourself and the stress this has caused me is unbelievable. Clearly more important they get their money than look after their customers.

Not good
I tried this platform once before and found it to be badly presented and very glitchy. Workouts/ programmes are hard to find and the search function doesn't seem to work. You can't Chrome cast it onto a larger screen and the website doesn't display well on a laptop. I recently decided to try the "mama rebuild" course and I have been unable to get access to any of the material. Often the links in the website seem to fail and simply take you back to the main homepage where you started.

They charged me without any notice or email - zero communication from them. I have emailed the support team three times with no response, have whatsapped with no response and still no refund!

Cancellation request ignored
I requested cancellation in December as hadn’t used the app. They then debited me in Jan and Feb and when I queried this refused to refund me. Shocking as I had never used the app and had notified them that I wasn’t interested. Very poor customer service!! A very strange email had been linked to my debit order which I was totally unaware of. It was clear that their app caused confusion due to this strange email address but they didn’t acknowledge this and just ignored my request for a refund.

2nd RWL retreat! There is just something truly special about Lagos that I can't describe. Thank you RWL, you've created a safe haven where I can fully disconnect, face my emotions and reset my mind. Cecilia, one of life's treasures & role model who is fiercely strong & has the kindest of heart. Her walks & meditations have been the best therapy. My heart is calm and my soul is lit again. I feel alive and I can breathe again. You have created a place where everyone's journey is honored, where authenticity is celebrated and vulnerability is embraced. There has been plenty of laughter and plenty of tears. I'm thankful for the challenges because they reminded me of my resilience. I'm grateful for the love and support of the RWL family as you have provided me with empathy, encouragement, and understanding. I'm thankful for the moments of joy because they remind me of the beauty in life. Every experience and emotion I've lived through has contributed to the version of myself today.
Sarah & Ben both have been simply amazing. Besides pushing me out that comfort zone. Thank you for the guidance, support & expertise you have both given me as it has restored some of the self doubt voice in my head. You have made it a safe space for me to be vulnerable & let out my emotions. Thank you for the empowerment in your engaging sessions. Thank you for being patient, encouraging & inspiring. I leave this place again with a different experience & different version of myself. The food by Chef Andreas & Joe were amazing. The walks, the fitness classes & workshops were fab. Returning back for the 3rd time in May as I can never get fed up seeing Algarve and going down the steps of Ponta da piedade again and again. Looking forward to see what's in store for my 3rd retreat.

Absolutely LOVED the retreat
Absolutely LOVED the retreat! I went in January to zen out, focus on me more and enhance my fitness and nutrition.
The itenary was fab and the food was insane! Cecila, Sarah & Ben were fab with their classes and workshops!
Very good value for money and I made friends for life which is a bonus! I'm looking forward to going again in future and any fitness event days they have! Highly recommend! You will come home feeling renewed and buzzing! X thanks so much! I'm also not a member but looking to join as their advice has helped me massively!

Don’t care about customers
A definite no for me. Took them up on a one month reduced price offer to try out the service. They took my money and I couldn’t access anything. Contacted them via the app. Told to e mail another address who didn’t reply to 2 emails. Promised after another message a colleague would look into it and then just radio silence ever since. Terrible customer care and experience and why have a message function in the app if you can’t action anything!

It’s a NO from me!
Very awkward app to navigate when it comes to renewing and cancelling. Hard to find when your actual renewal is. Isn’t very clear that it is automatic renewal hidden in T&Cs. When not wanted auto renewal takes place they will not refund only generic responses to my emails rather than responding to what I actually said. I have found the app itself bland and a little boring, dull trainers or irritating to listen to. When following a program it was difficult to find the workout which follows on and ended up doing the same workout more than once while others wouldn’t unlock even though I’d done the previous workout. Didn’t try the recipes so can’t comment on those. I wouldn’t recommend.
