I've used Restoration Online a few times during our recent renovations. In particular we wanted replacement handles for our 25-year old doors, and add a matching handle/lock set for a new door. They have a great range of products where we found exactly what we wanted and an excellent web site which explains all the technical terms and critical measurements when selecting new fittings.
After placing orders online they called me back to confirm a few details, and point out certain conditions. On the second order we were offered alternatives for an out of stock item. We elected to backorder the set we wanted, and we received weekly email updates on the status of our order. Then the good news that the items were available several weeks earlier than expected. Such a refreshing change from some other suppliers who have to be continually chased up and still fail to deliver. The staff are unfailingly friendly and professional and prices are competitive too.

I had a pleasurable experience. After I made a purchase in 2021 the product met my expectations I went back for further requirements. My own expertise deficit when it comes to purchasing items needed to upkeep my appt was expertly neutralised by Rachel. She responded immediately to my questions which enabled me to go ahead with my purchase. Its been a great experience and guaranteed I will be back. Excellent customer service. Had items on back order, for which I'd already paid express shipping. This was automatically refunded by Restoration Online and they contacted me to apologise. I elected to keep my order active until such time as the items came into stock. Received updates EVERY WEEK of progress. This is fantastic communication. The products are excellent quality and well priced. The website is so easy to navigate and find what you need. The online chat is really helpful, thanks to Kristina for her help and to Missy when I'm ordering, making sure everything is correct and giving me alternatives if my item isn't available. I've also had to return some items as I hadn't needed as many as I'd ordered and Samantha made that transaction go so smoothly. Highly recommend.
Exceptional service provided by Missy & Rachel. It was related to door handles & parts required to make them functional. Missy called before my order was processed to verify what I ordered was in fact what I had intended to order. It turns out I had made a mistake, Missy resolved the order perfectly & I received the order within a few days. I love my handles.

I had an issue where 2 products didn't match due to being different batches from their supplier and they went above and beyond to fix this issue for me quickly and smoothly! I have ordered items from Restoration online, which I had previously had on back order from another company, who after a couple of months, cancelled the order.
My current order has been on backorder with Restoration online for a number of months now (I did expect this as the items are hard to find. However, Restoration online provides weekly follow up and the staff (in particular Missy) are wonderful. I have no concerns about the delay in them obtaining the goods as Restoration online provide regular feedback including the occasional call to check I am still ok with the wait. Could not be happier with the service.

Very honest company. I ordered a new door lever set as well as an adapter plate for 54mm hole. Within the hour they called back saying I didn't need that plate as I had ordered the privacy set which already had a larger backplate. They removed the item from the order and refunded the difference. Most companies would have just let the order slide through, but this company really cares about their customer experience. This is such a breath of fresh air in a normally faceless online retail world.
