Needs to be stronger and more secure
I have allergies and asthma as well as chemical sensitivity. I bought this not expecting much, but I figured it was worth a try.
Here are my thoughts. I rate this a "B" for allergies. "C" or C-" for chemical sensitivity. And finally and "F" for the way the strap attaches. It fell off of me twice!!!
First for the allergies it did help my asthma from outdoor mold and pollen!
As far as the chemical sensitivity, to put it simply, it just wasn't powerful enough. I might use it in cases where I can almost but not quite, tolerate a situation. But it just isn't going to be strong enough for me, the majority of the time. If you suffer from chemical sensitivity but are still able to work and socialize like normal people, this may help you more.
As far as the strap, it is attached with magnets to the unit and attached much the way a baseball cap is adjusted around your neck. This is a really, really bad idea, and for the expense of the unit I would expect something that would keep it secure. I was highly disappointed in the magnets and baseball cap type strap! Very cheap and disappointing way to keep the unit attached.

It so far seems to work well
It so far seems to work well. Girl at work wears too much perfume and it has made my life miserable. I put this on and couldn't smell the perfume. Only issue is a little heavy on my neck. But I can sit it on my desk and still get good results.

Disappointed
I bought the original perspiration last year. It works good eliminating/filtering the dust but smell was always the issue. Because of my allergy, most smells bother me. So, when is saw this carbon filter (which I suggested after couple of mothers buying the respiray) I got so happy. Thinking that I'll be able to go places that has smell.
The day I received the carbon filters, i placed them in to my current respiray and turned it on. Only to find out that it pretty much didn't do any smell preventing that it was advertised. My disappointment was grater than my initial happiness.
I'm not sure if I received a faulty batch or this carbon filter is not working well at all.

Great to be able to filter out perfumes…
Great to be able to filter out perfumes and food smells not to mention smoke! A step above anything else that we’ve found and so great for going to places where there may be allergens but I don’t want to or can’t wear a mask.

I really wanted this product to work
I really wanted this product to work. It definitely freshens the air, but it didn’t charge in 2 hours; try 8+! The filters had to be replaced in half the time they were reported to last. And then, just a week or two after the refund period, my device died! I can’t even get a refund! Unimpressed and highly disappointed! There was no compatibility issue. I used the charger that Respiray sells on their website. Clearly, either my product is a dud or I was sold somebody’s previously returned device. I feel robbed and really wish I could get a refund. Also, customer service did not reach out to me.
Okay, Customer Service is 5 stars!! They offered a full refund or a replacement device. Plus, 30% off any future purchases in the next year. Still not sure how my device passed through Quality Control, though.

Disappointed in battery life
I was so excited to start a new school year with this protection as I have been wearing a mask for the last four years to deal with a compromised immune system. Unfortunately, I am finding that the better does NOT last as long as advertised. The longest period that I’ve been able to wear it has been less than 4 hours.
I have to switch back to wearing my mask to make it through a full day.

Fast and efficient service
This was a very pleasurable shopping experience. I ordered the products online which was very easy and straightforward. Within hours the email arrived that it was on its way, a few days later the courier emailed to say that they could not deliver to my postal address because the product had batteries in it, I gave them my house address and the next day the courier was at my front door. It all took less than a week.

This device has given me my life back
This device has given me my life back. I suffer from allergies, reactions to particulates in the air, and I have Asthma. These problems cause migraines, earaches, vertigo, lung pain and tightness in my chest. It’s so bad that when I get the Asthma I can only sleep sitting up and can not talk because of the pain.
I initially bought it for sensitivity to smells and perfume, but recently I’ve found that I can use it to eliminate the need to sit up in bed, the chest tightness, and after wearing for a few hours I can speak without pain!
I have had 2 hospital purifiers running in my home 24/7 for the last 7 years.

We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue. The chemical smell you're noticing is not typical. It might be due to a manufacturing residue or packaging material. We recommend running Wear A+ in a well-ventilated area for a few hours to see if the smell dissipates. If the problem persists, please take advantage of our 60-day return policy.
Large additional costs
Hit with an unexpected large customs and charges bill from the courier, which the seller does not cover and did not give any estimate of the cost (almost 30% of the purchase price) before purchase. Would not have bought if had known, can't afford this additional charge. The seller only replied once when this was queried and stopped responding after.
Returns policy. The seller did confirm the returns policy does stand but return postage charges are not included. So it's another large additional bill to return it, not as simple as the 'try for free' policy sounds.
Buyer beware.

Hidden charges
The product seems very good, but there were hidden charges, around £40.
This is the reply to Respiray's reply:
Yes I think your product is excellent, although I only tested it twice.
I'm afraid there are hidden charges. If these charges appeared when I was deciding whether to buy the product, I would not have gone ahead with the purchase. The information about these charges is not clearly presented, it needs to be present in the checkout. When I need new filters, will I have to pay extra £40 then too? I feel the whole thing was very misleading, and I feel let down, including for the fact that you continue to insist that there are no hidden charges. I did try to discuss about this over email/phone, but didn't get anywhere. It is such a shame, because this seems to be a great product.
