Stay away. I'd rented a car through trip.com for my Orlando vacation and the hire car didn't have working AC in July the car got a flat tyre. I was charged nearly £100 for the privilege which was charged to my credit card a month later. 5 months later in December my card had been charged again for over £200. I've not had any further dealings with this company and have no idea why my card has been charged. When trying to call them i've been unable to get through and speak to the branch. I've had no correspondence and i have to prove to my credit card company that i've not received any goods or services from this company. I'm a very busy man and now i'm having to waste my time trying to get this matter resolved. After my credit card company has disputed the charge, One Switch have said this is for further charges. I have no idea what these additional charges are for 5 months after being initially charged for the tyre. They will continue to charge you once anytime they feel like it. I would suggest going with a reputable company as these guys will cost you more money and time in the long run with no customer support when things go wrong.

STAY AWAY! This company advertised your deposit returned in 15 days, contract says 30 days. I returned my car on November 19th, no issues, and it is now January 2nd, the following year, and they still have not returned deposit. I was told 2 different dates, and these dates have came and gone. Had to file a dispute on my credit card and they haven't responded to the last 3 emails. FRAUD COMPANY!

I rented from them twice in two weeks. Nov 4th to Nov 7th, and then Nov 11th to Nov 14th, 2024. Reservations #80914 and # 78294.

They requested a $250 deposit each time ($500 total). I returned both cars without any issues. I reached out to them 10 days after my second reservation (Nov 24th) about the reimbursement. They replied two days later stating the reimbursement takes 2 weeks ( due already by then of course). Since I didn't receive the money back a few days later, I decided to contact my credit card company and they are currently handling it.

I received one reimbursement for $250 on Dec 18th ( 6 weeks after my first rental - rental dates: Nov 4th to Nov 7th). Nonetheless, I'm still waiting for the reimbursement for the second rental deposit (Nov 11th to Nov 14th)

THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! It would be fair for people in the same situation to get compensated for the interest earned by that amount. Can the BBB assess this company's mal practices and take actions please?

Smooth rental process, decent car selection. The ride was comfy, though AC took a bit to cool. Return was easy, and free roadside assistance is a nice perk. Overall, a solid choice in Miami

SCAM ALERT - I am being blamed for and charged $930 for a scratch that was already there on pickup - I am dealing with the Greenmotion location in Fort Lauderdale (which turns out is run by the same people as Rentcars) I have photo and video which I have sent in but the location is not helpful at all and is refusing fault. This reeks of a scam where the location either manipulate images or take poor photos or hide certain parts of the image just because I submitted my own insurance so now the onus is on me/them and they get a free repair. In conversation with the location (I spoke to a Paul and an a Alberto) the response was to ignore my requests to see previous renter close out details/talk to management and to repeat "We have escalated with management and consider this case closed" and "file with your insurance and they will pick up the bill". I am confident without a doubt that that scratch was there when I picked up the car and the duty of care is on greenmotion. Again, I have provided the location and management with time stamped photos, video with a green motion agent in the background and requested more images to no positive response. Unprofessional, predatory company with zero business ethics. STAY AWAY.
