Ordered my daughter prom dress August 2025 I thought we will get there early so organised, dress was suppose to arrive by February skip to the end of the month no call so I decided to ring them, the lady on the phone said the dress has not arrived yet it's just extra special it will be with us soon. Months go by no call no email nothing try calling no response, getting towards a week before my daughter prom date and still no dress or no call from red carpet ready so again keep trying to call, finally get through I ask where my daughter dress is, I was placed on hold for over 15 minutes and low and behold the dress has magically appeared this is 2 days before my daughter prom- not one call/ email to say it had arrived from red carpet ready. I explained that my daughter prom is in 2 days to her and she responded well if you can ring out courier service they could get it to you before 1pm the next day , I was fuming how do they think that this is ok to send a dress which would arrive a day before my daughter prom date. I explained that I am not happy Because what if the dress does not fit or any faults what can I do then nothing as to late. I asked for a refund for my deposit she replied you have to send an email, email sent to them and guess what no response. Joke of a service

We went back in January, the experience was fantastic my daughter choosing her dress at a cost of £595. Roll forward to may we receive the dress that's just not upto the standard you would expect beading not secured the applique on the dress not finished or stitched down just a general disappointment.
We drove back to RCR to return the dress for fixing baring in mind it's 80+ miles away to be assured everything would be done and low and behold we get the dress back today with beading falling off the issues of stitching coming away and loose threads hasn't been resolved I'm so disappointed by this.
My daughters prom is in 2 weeks I don't have the time to send it back and have them rectify this for a 2nd time. I would never believe a dress that cost almost £600 could look like something purchased from shein but again should anyone be surprised???

The staff were lovely and the experience was 1000% better than the awkward and uncomfortable experience at other places. The staff were patient and I was able to pick my dress in my own time and choosing the styles and colours i liked the most.

I visited RCR Lincon on 28/2/26. The staff- especially Lauren and Abi- were so lovely and I'm very happy with my dress.

My stylist Nicole made the experience so so fun and by the end we all loved the same dress, i would go here again if i had another reason to.

We travelled from Stockport to Lincoln for this appointment and from the minute we stepped inside they treated my daughter like a princess. They have a huge range of dresses that suit everyone’s taste and Ruth the stylist was truly amazing with my daughter making her feel at ease, selecting dresses for her to try on an ensuring she got to try on different styles. Another thing that we loved was the appointment didn’t feel rushed at all and even though other girls were also prom dress shopping it didn’t feel overcrowded at all. In fact my daughter got speaking to another lovely girl who was prom dress shopping which made the experience nicer.

The most important part for us is that each stylist makes every customer feel unique.

Pleased to say daughter said Yes to the Dress and has a beautiful prom dress she can’t wait to wear! Highly recommend this place to all!

Nicole the lovely girl looking after my daughter was outstanding. Keira doesn’t wear dresses and is a black dress girl. Nicole found her a dress that we never would have chosen and Keira loved it. All staff so friendly, gorgeous set up, best experience. Fantastic prices. Highly recommend

I'm going to start this by looking at the most recent negative review I can find and seeing whether I agree. So, here we go, the last negative review said:

So let's break this down:

Herded like sheep.
Yes, they work at pace, I'm not used to that either, but that pace meant that my daughter tried on something between 10 and 15 dresses, I lost count. Different styles and colours, and the pace allowed for that. They are exceptionally well organised, the whole thing is like a military operation, but not in a bad way. We didn't feel pushed at all, we had time to explore on our own and didn't feel pushed at all.

Stressed unfriendly, uninformed staff.
We worked with Camilla, she took time to understand what my daughter was looking for and, importantly, to find out what she did and did not like about each dress. This meant that over the course of all the try ons (if that's even a phrase) we gradually narrowed it down to one that was perfect - absolutely perfect!

Broken toilet.
Erm, well I can't say for sure, but my other half went (number 1 not number 2) and she seemed fine afterwards, so I kinda assumed it all worked??

No drinks on offer.
Again, difficult to judge here, but what I can say is that we were offered the same number of drinks here as we were at many other clothes shops. Though, when we're thirsty, we tend to head to a cafe or a pub, not a dress shop. I suppose they could add the line "we are not a pub" to their website, maybe that will clear it up for some folks.

Anyway, we spent more than we intended, but came away with a dress that suits my daughter perfectly, will fit perfectly, and put a smile on her face that has no price at all. Great experience, great dress - highly recommended.

This place is absolutely fantastic our stylist was Olivia she was brilliant with my daughter who im the first one to admit shes very hard to please, but honestly the choice styles & colours are second to none this is the place to be, its safe to say my daughter said yes to the dress after trying one on out of her comfort zone so i would personality like to thank olivia we also purchased some lovely jewellery & bag to match the dress it was such a amazing experience thank you so much red carpet ready💓

We chose the dress! My daughter needed a dress for Prom and we couldn’t be happier with the choice and service that Red Carpet Ready were able to offer. Beautiful dresses at competitive prices as well as some lovely accessories too! Natalie served us and she couldn’t have been more helpful and professional. We’re now recommending to friends. Worth the journey if you don’t live in Blackpool as neither do we and delighted we went!

We drove an hour and 45 minutes to get there and it did not disappoint! I found my dream prom dress and I’m obsessed with it. Not to mention, there are thousands of dresses in different styles, colours and designs to choose from. All RCR dresses cater to everyone with different sizes and prices so you should definitely visit if you can.

The customer service is impeccable; I had a lovely experience with one of the personal assistants, Nicole. She helped me find my perfect dress. It was a very personalised experience as she helped me pick out suitable dresses to match exactly what I wanted. Overall, all staff were kind, friendly and super helpful.

The changing rooms were stunning. The mirrors, the buffets, the lights - everything was perfect. It was also very clean and smelt amazing. The whole experience made me feel like a princess!

Ultimately, if you are looking for your dream prom dress, Red Carpet Ready is the place to go.

After following RCR on Instagram and Facebook for the last two years we finally made a round-trip of 6 hours yesterday from Cheshire and it was well worth it.
From the moment my daughter walked through the door she was treated like a princess.
We were greeted by Abi on the desk, she was so helpful and explained everything to us.
Our stylist Camilla was absolutely fantastic! She threw in some wild cards, was so patient, nothing was too much trouble and she had some really amazing advice, she was full of energy and made the whole experience memorable and so much fun.
The choice of dresses and the colours were out of this world. I would highly recommend RCR 110% to everyone!
Daisy said “YES” to her dream dress and she cannot wait to show it off at her prom in June.

Red Carpet Ready exceeded my expectations! With so many styles to choose from, I found the perfect dress for a special occasion. Shipping to Canada was smooth, customer service was friendly, and the dress looked amazing in person. I’ll definitely order again.

The staff and venue were lovely and there is amazing choice. It’s definitely not the cheapest but they do guarantee unique prom dresses to your school (so there is no repeat of design, even in a different colour).

Raine, our stylist, was very lovely and personable with my daughter. An excellent sales person lol! My daughter is well endowed in the chest area and not the archetypal size 6. Raine was very inclusive and warm/friendly. Sharing personal experiences of the dress she wore to her own prom - we ended up buying that style.
