Easy to recycle phone, very prompt payment once they received my phone.

Michael is so great, personable and very helpful. If you're in need of getting rid of stuff, I highly recommend calling Recycle Pro's. They respond quickly, so you can use the newly freed up space.

Sent off phone in perfect condition. Heard nothing for over 2 weeks then get an email saying that there are deep scratches on the back of phone with photo proof. I also have photo proof of the back of phone in pristine condition.
Would strongly urge anyone considering using recyclepro to find another reputable company and avoid these scammers, who damage your phone to pay you less than agreed

Do not use them I've been with O2 for nearly 15 years I went to upgrade my phone in their Mansfield branch who were really good. I'm disabled and have two contracts with them I was told I could recycle my old hand set and receive 145 pounds for it as it was after they had looked at it in branch in A1 condition so I did this after I was in hospital for a short time and during this was sent a text saying they had now found a fault with my handset and they would now give e me 46 pounds and some pence for it due to me being in hospital I couldn't see nor reply to this text t if I had I'd of asked for my handset back and sold it privately or indeed given it to one of my friends, I contacted them today to ask what had happened to the money 145 pounds to be told I have been given enough 29pounds for the hand set and they are unprepared to do anything else as it's not their policy. I offered them the £29 back and asked them to return my handset as its not worth anything to them to be told this is not an option due to their policy, please do not be CONNED do not use this service.

Absolute joke of a company!!! AVOID!! Sent my iphone 12 off face ID was faultly so they wouldn't buy, fair enough. They then sent me the wrong phone back, they rang and said for me to post it it back then will post my correct phone back I said OK no problem this phone hasn't come with the box or accessories that I sent will I receive mine was then told yes of course.. I finally got my device back today no box no accessories rang customer services it is in there policy not to send accessories back even though I was told I would receive them which they practically called me a liar apparently no one told me that!!! DO NOT USE, IVE READ OTHER REVIEWS WHERE THEY ARE SENDING THE WRONG PHONE BACK OUT!!

DO NOT use this company. I sent them my phone via a comparison site and upon receiving they claimed my phone had a deep scratch on the screen. This absolutely was not the case as I took a video evidence prior to sending my phone off which I’m glad that I did. They sent me pictures claiming that there was a scratch on the screen. I hugely contested this and then they sent me my phone back and I have received it today and surprise surprise. There is absolutely no scratch on the screen.
This company cannot be trusted!

Clearly the phone was not checked correctly and you clearly sent me pictures of another phone as my phone was returned to me as I said, with no scratches on, yet you claimed there were scratches

Sold a Xiaomi tablet to them. Took longer than the 24 hours I was told to receive the money due to a system problem. However one person provided me with constant updates, spoke to someone else and they weren't really no help.

But will use this company again 100%

What can I say about Recycle Pro? its probably best to do it in chronological order.

I got a valuation for a smartwatch that was £80, so I reset the watch to factory settings, cleaned it, and it was as good as new. The spare long strap that comes with watches had never been out of the origional box, so I placed the watch and charger back in the original box, wrapped it as I usually do in layers of bubble wrap, and placed it in the postage bag provided. Around a week later, I got an email from Sam Isaac at Recycle Pro saying apparently the watch was in D condition. The reasons for this were that it was stuck on the download page for over an hour and the battery life was low, so they said they would not be buying it from me. At the time, I was livid, as I know for a fact that the battery life of a smart watch is roughly 2 days depending on the use and amount of apps used, and mine was well within those parameters.

So about a week later, the plain brown cardboard box arrived at my home. I thought, This can't be my watch because the origional box I had sent it to them in would not fit in this box, but on opening the box, I found my watch face (checked against the imei I had on record before sending it off). and the removed strap and long strap with charger, all thrown in a bubble wrap bag stuffed in this box.
I took out the items, and firstly, the straps were absolutely filthy; I mean, they had thick brown grime on them like they had been worn by a pig farmer and were never cleaned. Also, the longer strap that had never been used by myself had clear signs of use with above-average wear on it.

On pairing the watch with my pixel phone again and going to check updates, the watch started downloading the required update, which was downloaded and installed within 10 minutes (bare in mind, recycle pro experts say this was stuck downloading for over an hour) as the reason for not accepting the watch.

So I wrote back to them, asking for my origional straps in the box I sent the watch in. I got an email back saying to look at the terms and conditions for returns but they would send the straps back(2 weeks later and still no straps or box). My reasoning about this is that if an item is supposedly on a workbench stuck on the downloading screen for over an hour, you would keep the box and contents ready to return it close by, but apparently they just send any accessories they can see back with your returns.

So I suspect the real reason recycle pro wanted to return my smart watch was the fact that the £80 locked-in price promise could be broken if the watch was recorded as at fault. So I went on recycle sites and looked at the price of my smart watch. On the day it was returned to me, it had dropped to £20, and I firmly believe that recycle pro knew this while they had my watch for testing and manufactured the faults so they would not have to abide by the price promise they agreed to. And to add insult to injury, I now have no box and probably the worst straps a watch could have sat on my desk, I dare not even touch the filth on those straps, as im sure they are probably patient zero for the next pandemic about to sweep the world If I could give a company a minus score on Trust Pilot, I would give Recycle Pro a -10 for poor customer service,poor condition of returned goods, and sketchy work practices.

UPDATE 07/02/24:- It's been almost a month now since Recycle Pro said they would return my origional box with contents and straps, and there has been no response from them what so ever, I don't think i will ever see my items again so the resale of the watch in its current state is now impossible... PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH WHEN RECYLING TECH ITEMS, AS I HAVE READ A FEW REVIEWS ON HERE NOW ABOUT THIS COMPANY AND IT SEEMS ITS COMMON PRACTICE FOR THEM TO DECIEVE ITS CUSTOMERS FOR A QUICK BUCK

UPDATE 2 17/03/24 : I have not heard or received anything from this company regarding my promised returns... total scam artists that will manipulate the prices if the item is being assessed by them, and there is some sort of price change in the models value. Whatever they promised you goes out the window and they use every trick in the scammers handbook to reduce the offer made.

To whichever fool from Recycle pro which wrote a response to my review, get a life and have some shame! Sam Isaac is a walking crook and as a company it is a joke. Use a proper courier like DPD not jokers like DHL who loose peoples parcels, you know they are rubbish but still you use them. Also, when you are liable, pay up instead of keeping a client waiting. Finally, when one send a good phone to you, don't lie and devalue it like you did. You are scum, sheer scum! Get the message. Also, when it was evident that my parcel had been lost by DHL you did nothing, I had to keep on phoning them and when I contacted you so many times Sam did nothing, nothing!!!

Whatever you do when looking to dispose your old phone if you own an Iphone trade it to Apple. I have learnt the hard way that you might get paid a little bit less but they offer you the best possible value and are honest plus you get your money quickly. I got a bit greedy for £20 more I made the critical mistake of sending my phone to this company. Sam Isaac is an indivisual from this company who you do not want to cross paths with. When you make enquiries before sending your phone he will reply immediately and even on weekends. This gives you the fake impression that he is professional and the over inflated valuation they initially give is tempting. What they then do once they have your phone is they lie telling you that the battery needs replacing, the casing needs replacing and then low ball you with an offer which in my case was half what they had offered initially before inspection. I know they were playing games because Apple had inspected the phone and not in any manner informed me of any technical faults and so did another company feedback the same.

The second area where you will regret getting involved with this company and in particular with Sam Isaac is that when you decline his low ball offer he will then get sloppy. Initially he lied to me stating that on a particular day the phone could not be sent out because the DHL Driver did not turn up. Following this the clowns DHL who were meant to do a 24 hour delivery lost my phone and for two weeks I had to keep chasing Sam Isaac who did nothing up about this because DHL would fob me off by stating the sender is our client not you so contact him. Sam Isaac did not give a monkey. Eventually DHL got fed up of me contacting them and confirmed that Sam Isaac had not even bothered contacting them and that this had gone on for long enough and that the phone needed to be classed as lost and a claim be made. Clearly Recycle pro should have paid me and then at their own expense gone forward their claim to DHL but this joker told me that I had to wait until DHL paid up at their own leisure. I got fed up and only when I started threatening him that I was going to take small claims court proceeding did they pay up.

Do not get involved with this company because they are crooks and very unreliable

A message for Recycle Pro you will only make yourself look foolish if you reply back stating you did everything to be helpful because you full well know that you are useless crooks

Awful experience with this company and will not be using them again! I have been selling devices to companies like this for well over a decade so have experience and realistic expectations of how this process should work and this company totally failed.

My item was received on 9 December and I had to call repeatedly for an update. Each time I called I was told it would be dealt with that day and I would be contacted but this never happened. Only after sending an email on 20 December did I finally get a response.

Then, the response I got was that my two Fitbit devices which were offered for £20 each were reduced to £8 each! They were graded as C which I was told when I called again was the lowest condition possible. As said above, I have been selling devices for years so have realistic expectations. The devices each had the usual wear and tear and the screens were scratched. However, these scratches had no bearing whatsoever on the screen and did not hinder the view of the screen at all.

After calling the offer was raised to £10 each which I accepted only because I want to be done with this and never use this company ever again.

I was send my phone 1 months ego they give me very low price I’m not happy it but I was talked to guy they send me my device back dhl I’m wait about 20 days still not get device he said me don’t worry definitely you get your full money so I was try to contact service they’re blocked me so I’m lose £700 and device and time don’t trust this company it’s scam and fake
