Nick from Space guided me through the purchase of a property in Murcia, showed me properties in the area I wanted, arranged solicitors appointments even arranged meetings with builders!
Could not have been more impressed with the total service!

Whilst travelling through Spain in our camper van, we decided that we wanted to find a holiday home in the Costa Del Sol Region, not having a clue where to start, We went through a Place in the Sun website and was contacted by Lorraine from Space Real Estate, we spoke in length about our property requirements and viewings were arranged for the 6th June 24. We were met at our campsite by a happy and bubbly Glen, he completely put us at ease and spoke in length about the areas we were going to explore and the properties we were going to view that day, he was fantastic with his local knowledge and our questions were answered with pure honesty. It was an extremely enjoyable day out. We outlined in more detail our specific requirements and by 8th June 24, three days after meeting Glen, he found our dream apartment. Which we are now enjoying. We cannot thank him enough for all his efforts before, during and after the property purchase, the whole process has been flawless. He is a five star representative of your company, experienced in his field, a man of great integrity and a joy to be around. We would highly recommend Space Real Estate to everyone.

Like most people, we were very apprehensive about buying property in Spain. We found Space Real Estate online and sent an email enquiry which was followed up immediately by Lorraine. She instantly put us at ease explaining the process and providing us with the confidence to move forward. We had weekly calls and she was on hand all times of the day and night and at weekends to answer any questions that popped into our heads. Before our visit to Spain she had built up a shortlist of properties that we would potentially be interested in. We arrived in Spain and met Ryan who had arranged a number of viewings in preparation of our visit. He was very knowledgeable and patient and nothing was too much trouble. We managed to find a property and the team put us in touch with a lawyer and someone that could handle the currency exchange. As someone who has worked in real estate for over 20 years in the UK, I can’t recommend the team highly enough. Great communication, local knowledge, professionalism and hardworking.

Very rude and dishonest agents with no properties to sell, avoid.

We recently purchased a property through Space Real Estate and the entire process was made so easy by everyone at Space. From the initial contact we had with Lorrainne, who is absolutely lovely and a pleasure to deal with, we were sent so much information/options, Lorrainne listened to our feedback and narrowed down our search prior to our visit from the UK. When we visited we were met by Olivier at the airport who was also amazing, super knowledgable and great company for the few days that he was showing us around a whole range of properties, which enabled us to find and successfully bid on our dream house by the beach which we have since completed on. Everyone at Space was also extremely helpful in assisting us with solicitors, forex traders and plenty of other random information we needed assistance with (builders / window companies etc!). Lucrecia even met us at the notary office on the day of completion to ensure everything went well. I would not hesitate to recommend Space Real Estate because they made a very daunting process extremely easy for us and if we were ever to buy / sell property in Spain in the future they would be my first call! I first contacted this agency with a view to buying a property in the Murcia area of Spain. Everything went well to begin with, they were responsive and helpful with advice, and we agreed a meeting time and location for the following week when I would be in the area. The night before our agreed meeting I sent them a quick note just to confirm our meeting the following morning: suddenly no one was available to help me view properties and our meeting was cancelled.
Fortunately I had meetings arranged with other agencies, and these went ahead. However, each of these agencies told me, independently, that they believe that Space Real Estate “lift” property listings from other agencies, that they have no right of access to, and advertise them on their own web site.
I suspect that this is what happened. They planned to show me properties that, in truth, they couldn’t and just withdrew at the last moment.

I first contacted Sara to arrange my trip and give her some idea on what I'm looking for. Communication was very effective and responses very prompt.
Olivier was my property expert during the 2 days I spent in Costa Del Sol. Before I met Olivier I only had a vague idea about the whole process.
Oliviers expertise was evident from our first meeting.
He took time to understand my preferences and showed me a range of properties, each with different qualities. I was spoiled for choice.
The communication was very clear and very effective. We didn't waste any time, but at the same time I never felt rushed thanks to Oliviers great planning.
At the end of day 2 I was putting an offer on a place. Olivier impressed me with his negotiation skills. He managed to lower the price of the property quite significantly, saving me a lot of money.
The next time I went to Spain was to collect my keys. Lawyer that Olivier introduced me to did everything on my behalf.
Before final contract was signed Olivier personally checked that everything was in order as I couldn't get there myself.

Our property search was made so much easier by Sarah, nothing was ever to much trouble we viewed over 21 properties in total on our viewing trip 11 supplied by Space. Martin the property expert was so knowledgeable and no question felt like a silly one thanks again Sarah and Martin.

Terrible experience. Had a call so they could understand what we were looking for. On the call the agent just talked over us and didn’t listen to us at all. After the call she sent us details of 2 properties, neither of which met our needs. Had she listened to us on the call she would know that. Not heard anything from them since. Definitely a real estate agent which needs to practise what they preach in their promotional material. Until they do it’s one to avoid.

Space Real Estate were an excellent partner for finding myself and my family our dream Spanish ‘home’ from home. From initial comms with Lorraine (plus WhatsApp videos of the area to whet the appetite) when we got out to view suitable properties we were taken care of by Glen. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him. He heard what we were looking for, took it on board and refined the properties as we went along. His energy, enthusiasm and personal nature made the whole process so much easier and less stressful. We recently purchased a property when we was out in January and when we were picked up and showed round by Olivier Gallee, we found he was very professional and extremely helpful. It was a smooth process from start to finish and we found Olivier Gallee to be very friendly and his communication with us was excellent! He won us the property and we was over the moon. Poor experience investing in a property development Fund run by Space Real Estate for 3 years 2020-2023. Things were good until they received my money, then the information flow dried up. Initially I had great communications with Steve R, but he left suddenly with no explanation and then things went bad. They never sent me a proper contract for my investment, just a re-used offer document copy (which had no names, addresses, amounts invested, start date, end date, investment terms or anything like that!). I couldn't even tell you for certain what the Fund was called (it might have been 'SPP 105'; this also could have been put in a proper contract!). Then after that I heard hardly anything from them. There were no regular updates about the projects, or even the general property market. Occasionally there was a short video of a project, but with little other information it wasn't very useful. I had no idea what they were doing or how things were going. I sent emails asking for updates but they were mainly ignored. (Of course, I still received all their marketing emails, about great properties to buy and other funds I should invest in!) This went on for 3 years. They paid me back in March 2023, but not before demanding bank documents to prove I actually transferred the funds to them in the first place (yes, really!). Final return was 21%, less than half the 45% (15% pa) that was promoted, but I guess that Covid had significant negative effects. I am now trying to get information out of them (about the various projects, costs, profits, etc - you know, stuff that any investor would want to know), but so far I have received nothing.

From start to finish the experience from Space was professional, friendly and informative. Olivier was a dream agent and made the whole experience effortless. We didn't feel under any pressure but bought our dream property after two days of viewing! We would highly recommend this agency.
