Our experience with RC Willey has been marred by a series of unfortunate incidents that have spanned over a year. Delivery personnel have failed to follow placement directions, resulting in damage to our home and the furniture. We have had instances where the delivery people left sweat on the furniture delivered, without bothering to clean it. RC Willey furniture has also been a concern, with pieces not functioning as they should and pieces of a sectional having different colors and heights.

Customer service has been anything but helpful and cooperative; they have been antagonistic and rude with their responses. With all this, one would wonder why we continue to patronize RC Willey. Simply put, we have spent many thousands of dollars on furniture and continue to deal with damage to our home and furniture, as well as dreadful customer service, and personal expenditures made in an effort to cover RC Willey's mistakes. It even reached the point where RC Willey was going to allow us to return their select furniture, which we considered until we found that the RC Willey credits, house damage, and the inconvenience of it all put us in a position of significant losses.

So here we are, after a confrontational telephone call with ill-mannered and unyielding customer service staff, where I ended up hanging up on them due to their offensive and arbitrary position, leaving us to "hold the bag."

RC Willey Director of Customer Relations called me back after the call, and cooler heads prevailed, along with each of us listening to the other. For the first time, I see light at the end of the tunnel because Chad Jacobsen heard my legitimate and verifiable complaints and decided to take action on our house and furniture. That is the mark of a rational and reasonable professional who identifies a problem and seeks to resolve it without confrontation.

Despite all the challenges, I am hopeful Mr. Jacobsen's intervention will lead to a mutually satisfactory resolution. I look forward to the day when I can not only retract this review but also replace it with a complimentary one, reflecting the positive outcome of our experience with RC Willey.

***AMENDMENT** (9/30/25)
I am concerned and highly disappointed with the written response I received from RC Willey today, as I interpret it. I hope I'm wrong in my assumption that I "have to continue working with" discourteous and unpleasant people who led us into this debacle in the first place. Hopefully, I'm wrong here, but it sounds too "anonymous" to be anything but the same people.

We have been buying furniture from RC Willey for years. The quality and customer service has always been great. Today we needed a dishwasher for one of our rentals and Zachary Kondrk had our order completed in less than 30 minutes. He has been very helpful in the past and once again got our order completed very quick. We will continue to use RC Willey for our furniture and appliance needs. Thanks Zachary!

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Adam Causey at RC Willey, and I can honestly say he went above and beyond to make sure my experience was nothing short of excellent. From the moment I walked in, Adam was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to helping me find exactly what I needed.

What really stood out was how he took the time to explain all of my options, answer every question with patience, and make sure I felt comfortable with my decisions. He wasn’t pushy at all—just incredibly helpful, professional, and detail-oriented. Adam even followed up afterward to ensure everything was delivered smoothly and that I was happy with my purchase.

Salespeople like Adam make all the difference. He turned what could have been a stressful process into a seamless and enjoyable one. If you’re shopping at RC Willey, ask for Adam Causey—you won’t regret it!

Delivery guys were in a rush. Did not seem to care. Dropped chair and laughed. When they left I noticed the coffee table was damaged.

Online purchase and delivery went without a hitch. Driver was friendly and professional.

On line purchase and financed with RC Willey, delivery scheduled and on time.

The female customer service rep was helpful, quick, and courteous. Very Good experience.

Great online service

Called to confirm if I could place my order online and was transferred to sales. Sales person put order in and transferred me to cashier who never picked up (in 3 attempts) so I'm shuffled back to the operator who tries again and again. On 4th try my call is disconnected. I finished the transaction myself online. Let's hope the pick up and the microwave work better than trying to pay for an order!

I bought my elderly father a La-Z-boy. I sent an email asking if they could deliver the recliner upstairs? No response. Today, I got a message he would need to show a copy of MY credit card. I am thinking of cancelling.

Eric Murray was so very helpful and AMAZING with the furniture buying process. He was very patient and went above and beyond. Because of Eric I decided to go back a third time after receiving furniture that was delivered damaged twice. I went into the store a third time to correct it and exchange my mattress for a replacement. I purchased a $109 warranty on my mattress and was overcharged by almost $200. When I questioned why the total went up by so much I was told it was because of tax. I explained that when I made the original purchase it was tax free and this was a simple exchange. The cashier then called Thalia over to assist and she said that it was a $9 tax on the warranty which would total $118. My original total was $1245 and she tried to tell me my new total would be $1445. When I asked for an explanation she had an attitude like if I was inconveniencing her and walked away. This is the second time I had this type of interaction with Thalia. Because of her attitude I canceled everything and walked out.

Went above and beyond to help me pick a new carpet.

My wife and I visit RC Willey’s all the time. We love to see what’s new, and we always check out the clearance section-they have such great deals! We like to personally give a shout out to Moses Domingo-he has always greeted us with a smile and makes us feel like part of the family... thank you RC Willey’s

The online website to search and find the products I was looking for was very easy. I really like the way it tells me where the item I want is located at. The ease of buying and getting your product.

Karl is so pleasant and professional. He’s an amazing listener which ends up resulting in you getting exactly what you need and he’s so great at pulling things together. We also appreciate the follow-through when needed on repairs and the selection is always amazing and never dated

We originally had an issue with our delivery order . We called the store Manager Dave who was spectacular ! Dave fixed the issue and set us up with Carlos and Shy ( delivery crew) Carlos and Shy were first class. Extremely polite and provided excellent service ! We highly recommend . Due to Dave’s help with the fridge we already ordered another item . Hopefully Carlos and Shy will deliver our desk as well. Thanks guys

We purchased carpet from RC Willey several months ago but intentionally chose to delay installation until our other home construction projects were completed. Despite clearly communicating this multiple times, our salesperson continued to call us persistently, pushing us to schedule installation. Frankly, it became a bit of a nuisance.

When we did try to reach her on our terms, she often forgot to return our calls — something she openly admitted more than once. After the installation was finally completed, we had questions about our promised $100 gift card. We were told to check our email for it, which struck us as odd since, in all our years as RC Willey customers (over 25 years), gift cards have always arrived by mail.

To this day, we haven’t received the email. We've followed up several times, waiting days for a response each time. When we finally manage to reach her, she simply admits she forgot to call back and then asks us to follow up again, all while mentioning she’s about to go on vacation — leaving us once again in limbo.

We have tried to get assistance from other team members, even asking to be reassigned to another salesperson, but have been told repeatedly that it has to go through her. It feels as if, once the sale was closed, the commitment to service stopped.

After being loyal customers for so long, this experience has been disappointing. We’re now left without the promised $100 gift card, and quite frankly, we feel like we’re being brushed off.

With an Ashley store having just opened nearby, we’re seriously considering taking our future business there. We’ve always appreciated RC Willey, but this recent experience has given us reason to reconsider.
