Still in agony
It took me about 6 weeks to decide to buy these, £17.99 is a lot to pay for gloves. I decided I was going to buy them as driving with numb and painful fingers is probably quite dangerous.
So gloves arrived very quickly and I was impressed with the delivery.
I have worn them 4 times, 3 of those times I preheated them on my radiator and pre warmed my hands in a heating belt I received for Xmas.
I am highly disappointed. I was hoping these were the answer to my prayers but I'm left feeling that I have wasted my money.
I drive for half an hour and I still have to shove my fingers in the car heaters to bring back the blood!!
Why did I bother!!??

The challenge with driving in cold temperatures is that steering wheels are often extremely cold to the touch. Because the Silver Gloves are lightweight and designed for dexterity, they are often most effective when used as a base layer in these specific conditions. Adding a standard outer glove provides the necessary insulation to help the silver threads trap and reflect your body heat more effectively against potentially cold temperature inside a car.
We certainly don't want you to feel that your purchase was in vain. To that end, we would welcome the opportunity to discuss with you how to better enhance your driving experience as well as an alternative solution that provides an active heat source.

Quick delivery
My purchase arrived promptly and the package was small enough to be put through the letter box, so that was good.
The gloves, I think are best worn as an inner glove and have a heavier pair on the outside.
I have quite big hands, so even the L/XL are a bit snug

Regarding the fit, kindly note that it is actually quite common for these gloves to feel snug, and this is often by design.
Because the silver threads work by reflecting your body's heat back into the skin, having the fabric in close contact with your hands ensures the most efficient thermal transfer. This close fit is also what makes them so effective as a base layer, and your suggestion to wear them as an inner glove under a heavier pair is exactly what we recommend for maximum protection in extreme cold.

Excellent cold weather gloves and clothing
Excellent gloves and clothing to cope with the cold weather. I would recommend any of the products we have bought from Raynaud's. The Ejendals Thermal Waterproof gloves are very effective with a soft lining. The Portwest body warmer has multiple pockets, very useful - my husband loves this jacket. The travel socks with silver lining are very comfortable knee high length and much warmer than usual socks, although probably not enough compression for long flights. The fine knit glove liners are warm enough to use on their own on cool days. Great products that support Raynaud’s disease sufferers. Many thanks

I needed some information about the disease to work out the likelihood of me suffering from it. The information was very helpful in determining that in fact it is very unlikely that I have, but also gave information a bout what to look for.

Hotrox hand warmer is heavy to carry…
Hotrox hand warmer is heavy to carry and produce only a mild heat.
Advice was too buy a size larger of the waterproof gloves but the fingers are 3.5cm too long.

Poor product
Not really much update with delivery and a broad range of dates to be delivered. Not really a big problem but main reason for bad review is the product just doesnt work any better than gloves you can buy in a petrol station.

Arrived the day after I made my order.
I have ordered from Raynauds website previously and can’t fault them.
Their gloves and socks both do an excellent job of keeping the smaller blood vessels from narrowing therefore no white fingers.

Good customer service re query re poor quality silver gloves.only complaint is that as I don't have a computer or printer they emailed me telling me to print off return labels,which I can't do .However when I explained my predicament I received return labels in the post.I have now sent gloves back and await refund.

I really love the black Raynauds gloves…
I really love the black Raynauds gloves with silver.
They are not thick and so can be worn every day, or with other mittens, gloves on top if needed.
The score would be 5 but the delivery was 5 days not 2 as expected.

Gloves with silver content
The gloves do not keep my hands as warm as I hoped even when used as gloves liners. I still suffer from numbness in tips of my fingers. They come up small, my hands are slender but long. The measure guide doesn't take this into account. Using their size guide am a sm/LG the fingers are too short plus the length doesn't reach my wrist. An expensive purchase for something that didn't live up to my expectations.

Please note that the Silver Gloves work by reflecting body heat back into the skin. For the best results, we recommend warming up your hands prior to wearing the gloves, as to ensure the heat retention effect of the gloves can take place. If the fingers are already cold or numb, the silver has no heat to "trap" and reflect, which can limit their effectiveness. Additionally, ensuring a snug fit is vital for the silver thread to maintain contact with the skin.
Regarding the sizing, we appreciate your feedback on the finger and wrist length. For customers with slender but long hands, we often find that opting for a size up provides the necessary length without compromising the silver's performance.
