The Reynards Disease website is great
If it wasn’t for this charity selling items to keep us particularly warm, we will be in a lot of trouble, especially in the UK. I bought toe socks for the first time and I’m absolutely amazed at how wonderful they are. I also bought some very thick heat warmers so my feet are absolutely toasty beautiful thank you very much. It’s a very easy website to navigate. The prices are very clear and as long as you sort out your VAT, you won’t have to pay it you can’t ask for anything better.

A bit disappointing
The gloves have given no more protection against Reynauld's than any other gloves, to my disappointment. It is the beginning of June, I wore them just to the supermarket over the road, but my fingers still went white and stiff and useless.

The Raynaud's Disease Silver Gloves are designed to help retain your body's natural warmth by reflecting heat back towards the hands. For best results, they are generally most effective when hands are already warm before putting the gloves on, as they help to conserve existing heat rather than generate additional warmth. Many customers also find them particularly useful when worn as a liner beneath another pair of gloves in colder conditions.
As Raynaud's symptoms can vary considerably from person to person, individual experiences with the gloves can differ. If you would like any advice on getting the most from the gloves or discussing alternative options, our team would be happy to help.

Waiting to test in winter!
I'm not giving more stars because I ordered these gloves (in May on the recommendation of a friend whose mother like me suffers from Raynauds) ready for cold weather in winter. So not yet worn - ask me again in January maybe?
On the plus side, the gloves seem well made & were delivered quickly & well packed with very little plastic. The gloves came up slightly small for me, probably as I have long thin fingers & the only measurement required for sizing was around the hand. But they will fit under my normal winter gloves so Hoping they will help.

We completely understand your decision to reserve final judgement until the colder weather arrives, as this is when many Raynaud's sufferers are most able to assess how effective a pair of gloves is for their individual needs.
One tip that many customers find helpful is to ensure their hands are already warm before putting the gloves on. The silver fibres woven within the gloves are designed to help retain and reflect your body's natural heat, so they tend to perform best when worn on pre-warmed hands rather than being relied upon to generate warmth from cold hands. Many users also find them particularly effective when worn as a liner beneath a thicker pair of outdoor gloves during the winter months.
We also appreciate your comments regarding sizing. Whilst the sizing is based on hand circumference, we recognise that finger length and hand shape can vary from person to person, which may affect the fit.

Gloves were dispatched quickly
Gloves were dispatched quickly. They don’t look as if they will be warm and do the job, but time will tell. My husband has tried all sorts to combat his dead fingers in cooler weather we are hoping that this time the product will do what it claims.
