Izzy who works in the Produce section takes terrific care of the vegetables, which are always fresh. I go out of my way to shop at this store because of Izzy.

But the self check-out is terrible. Stop making customers pay to check out their own food and bring back the checkers. Ralphs is contributing to killing the economy.

I'm a long time customer by Ralphs, I hate the digitial coupons, many times i did'nt know and i got fully charged, they company should stop this, it's very irretating, I'm thinking about not going there any more.

The customer service is very poor, and their hot,food service sucks ,and their very disrespectful

I love shopping at Ralph's ( in Corona Ca.off of Limonite) and what I don't like is curbside order but when I have to use it I have no choice. the last 3 curbside orders certain food was damaged. my last order a few days ago I bought hamburger buns, smashed and it was on top of the chicken I bought. before that I bought 12 tomatillos and 5 were damaged. the avocados were hard like a rock and that tells me whoever is shopping and bagging my items doesn't care. I appreciate that they are doing that for me but to have damaged food that I'm paying for given to me is ridiculous! how hard is it to bag frozen and refrigeration stuff together, and cans separate from breads and fruits/veggies? I don't like my bread on top of raw meat! these baggers need better training. I hate to complain but come on!

I’ve been shopping at Ralph’s for years. Their website never works properly. Today was the topper. The shopper never got permission for substitutions. Left our food at the door without letting us know the food was here. All the ice cream melted. Never even rang the doorbell.
It seems Ralphs doesn’t train their workers. They don’t care about their customers. I’m discouraged
With their lack of following thru on anything. Something is wrong with their system & I assume they just don’t care.

Had Instacart shoppers shop at Ralph’s the shoppers messed the order up so bad that I couldn’t deal anymore so I called Instacart they dismissed the shoppers at that time Ralphs was responsible for refund. I was told 30 to 40 days for my refund. Don’t shop at Ralph’s what kind of nonsense are they talking about. Wait a month before I get my passport back. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

Inexperienced cashiers, bag people. No proper training of these employees.

This store is a piece of crap. Price gouging is rampant (7.99 for a 14 oz box of cereal??), and their site NEVER works properly. I've used their app, my mobile, and pc - their site never loads, and when it does, you do 1 click and have to sign in again. It sends you anywhere it feels like it, coupons disappear as you're reading them. For a company bilking people out of billions, they can surely afford better online experiences. I recommend Jon's Supermarket, Whole Foods, or King's for a better experience in store.

Before I start and unfortunately I must say, It appears that the employee at this particular location perpetuates systemic racism towards blacks (which is strange coming from employees who are of Mexican descent and are brown) I also observed employees at this location being biased towards transgendered women although she looked at them and laughed and continued shopping as usual LOL

I went into the store today to do my typical shopping and saw this male employee who was of Asian descent literally in the face of a shopper harassing her as the management turned their head and ignored it, it was really strange to see. But it does happen a lot at this location to the unexpected shoppers.

I watched an employee at this location follow a transwoman through the store pulling over customers along the way and saying she's really a man (who cares) as if she does not know that she's transgendered and simply there to shop for food. I believe the employees at this store try to perpetuate hate by pulling over certain customers in order to evoke hateful emotions towards transgendered women I saw it firsthand.

The environment at this location is toxic, which I believe is supported by management ( they know what's going on in their store) because it's an ongoing issue that doesn't seem to be any consequences for the employee's actions.

When shopping at 1233 N La Brea Ave, West Hollywood, CA 90038 in Los Angeles the experience is terrible which is to be expected because a lot of the employees lack morals & values, and professional ethics when it comes to customer service there are "some" good employees but for the most part employees at this particular location are obnoxiously rude and very immature, these are people who refuse to grow up and become respectful adults. It's so ridiculous. as if their teeny tiny negative personal thoughts really matter to people they don't know.

I rate the customer service at this store an "F", which is subject to change when I see employees better represent this particular Ralphs location. I believe that the employee's behavior directly reflects the manager at1233 N La Brea Ave, West Hollywood, CA 90038. Any business is only good as the person who is in charge.
Due to the really rather rude behavior by employees at this location, it's so over the top, I typically would get some popcorn and simply watch employees who work here perform and completely act a fool, Soooo Funny

Got a Krab Louie salad...they have now updated this salad to have ONE SLICE OF KRAB in it and removed half the hard boiled egg. Disgusting

The Ralphs on national Blvd is horrible they overcharge on everything went there yesterday and got a honeydew melon that they charged me 13.99 for the melon was clearly marked 99 cents a pound the melon was really 4.29 lesson learned please please check all receipts have a great day everyone, no apologize no I'm sorry nothing horrible

To be clear, this review is only of the web store (I have never been in a Ralph's physical store); and the only products I typically buy are nutritional supplements.

That said, on this most-recent order, Ralph's had everything I needed, at fair prices, when the other companies I use were out of stock. The shipping cost was reasonable ($4.95) and the order arrived four days after I placed it.

Again, I can't comment on the in-store experience because I've never set foot in a Ralph's store. But they seem to have their online operation squared away.

So, they have taken out almost all good organic food and replaced it with "simple truth",which is average at best. What non private label they do have is inconsistent in quality. Half the produce on the site is unavailable except by delivery and half the other items must be shipped.Ralph's went from being a great California store before Kroger to a third rate market which just keeps getting sadder every year. Old produce, empty shelves, refusal to carry brands other than their own. Today and yesterday the Valencia store was out of stock on Roma tomatoes, portobellos, cara oranges, exotic mushrooms, broccolini and more. . I am going to have to buy everything but cleaning products, butter and soy milk at my organic supermarket- expensive but they always have good and fresh produce and a great organic selection and I don't end up with half an order and still needing things.

Ralph's Brookhurst in Anaheim... I have to compliment management on one young mans honesty and ethics! Xavier, I went to pick up my groceries and I have always tipped, he actually said, "I am so sorry, I can't accept a tip" I can't tell you how many have accepted tips, I felt so bad he wouldn't!! but what I admired was his honesty!!
Management; you have your self a great employee there! honesty and integrity is hard to find in employees! I know, I too am in management, and a young man like Xavier, I would love to have him on our team in hospitality! I do hope you have incentives for these young ones!! he deserves it!

I've been shopping at the Ralph's in Sherman Oaks (Burbank Blvd.) for some 40+ years (ever since it was a Hughes Market). Tonight, they wouldn't take my check. They claimed I was no longer in their system, and despite the fact that I have my checks printed with my driver's license number, which I backed up with a real California ID, they refused to process my order. Adding to that the disgraceful surcharge they instituted a few years ago for cash back on purchases and the fact that their prices have skyrocketed in suspicious, $1.00 per item intervals, and I've just about had it with their greed and lack of effort to assist. I don't do InstaCart with them because InstaCart makes terrible mistakes and refuses to fix them unless you write letters to all their corporate offices before someone will do anything helpful.

I asked for a store manager to assist tonight, and the cashier (not very helpful, nor friendly) said he "couldn't do anything" to take my check. I call complete b.s. on that. The manager runs the store, does all the overrides on transactions, and can approve checks. So, no groceries for me tonight.

The one good thing that works at Ralph's is their pharmacy, but I can't even refill my scrips online anymore because they go straight into an InstaCart. Also, the pharmacy's web site is buggy and inaccurate.

Online shopping experience was HORRIBLE. Didn't have product I ordered but was still charged, then requested to cancel my order online myself through my account. Logged into account to cancel order and could not was prompted to contact their call center which to no surprise is located in India. Reached rep who could barely speak English and who could not cancel order and asked me to log into my account to cancel. When I told him I couldn't he advised nothing he could do. WTH?! Complete circle jerk only to find out they will automatically cancel order if not picked up after certain smh for as OVERPRICED as this place is, you'd think they'd invest in a better system. Will never use again.

Ralph’s has raised prices above and beyond reasonable. Prices are customer gouging. The basic food items that I purchase weekly for instance Best Foods mayonnaise went from 4.99 on sale to 8.99. Name brand butter cost has risen at least $3.
U.S. Consumer Agency needs to send some secret shoppers in there and also perform customer satisfaction reports. I used to look forward to shopping at your stores but you’ve lost my family as customers. These prices ( and I’ve only named two) are beyond ‘inflation’ and definitely fall within the definition of price gouging.
