We got our cockapoo in September 2018 after a personal recommendation and could not have hoped for a better dog. She is perfect! When we went to meet her all the puppies seemed happy and we met the parents who also seemed happy and healthy. We have a great experience so based on that I would recommend

They are a puppy farm. Our dog has had multiple health and behavioural issues. Avoid them like the plague.

Run a mile from this place. The owners are really sketchy and don't care about the welfare of the puppies - many have suffered serious illness or worse. A puppy farm in disguise.

Avoid at all cost! Purchased a puppy in 2018 2 dogs who were allegedly mum and dad were shown to us, pup was shaking with fear on collection, we were told it was because we were taking her away from her family and all she knows! She was highly strung, anxious, severe separation anxiety and terrified of everything. Despite socialising and taking to puppy classes (she'd spend the entire time under my chair shaking). Reached out for help as getting to breaking point, didn't want to know, had to rehome in the end and despite asking for help instead of trying to help us I was made to feel the worlds worst person and that I'd be causing her severe damage. Don't be fooled by the sparkle and posh house !

We bought Piccola in November 2018, and to say she has been a joy is an understatement. Very sadly my husband died three months after she arrived, so she had no routine of any sort. But she is happy whenever I take her out, and whenever I feed her. She is a loving, happy, polite and sweet natured dog. Three people have bought their cavapoos from raffles on my recommendation, and all been thrilled. I was reminded to write this review by a friend ringing me this morning to say how overjoyed they are with their puppy from Raffles.

Avoid at all costs. This breeder has no regard for ethical breeding, dog welfare or aftercare. Our friends bought a puppy in June 2020 who had parvovirus 4 days after bringing him home. The puppy had an intense 12 days in veterinary hospital at huge cost and is lucky to be alive. Raffles accepted no blame and to date have not reimbursed them for any vet fees. Raffles charged a huge price for tge puppy as he was purchased in lockdown. The whole experience was traumatic and heartbreaking. Never go to a puppy farm like Raffles. They are not ethical breeders, more like a money making machine. Disgusting. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

We have been delighted by our beautiful puppy that we had from this breeder. He kept in touch with us with lots of videos of puppy and was on hand at all times to answer questions. On collection, I was impressed with the quality of relevant paperwork provided and all vaccinations had been done. I’d say the breeder went over and above to ensure the puppy had a wonderful experience.

I bought a pup here in October 2018. As described in other reviews, the operation is very sketchy - you don't see mum and pups interacting, the mum is just carried in and shown briefly.
I was initially told there were no pups available and then when I went by just to check out the breeder they suddenly had a spare pup for me. At the time I thought it was a lucky coincidence but now think they're clearly running a large scale posh puppy farm connected with other breeders and who knows where my pup came from.
I was told he was a Cavapoochon but he grew to be more than double the size of an average Cavapoochon so who knows what he really is. I tried calling/emailing to discuss this (and some initial health problems) several times but only got an email saying they would call me back and didn't hear anything more.
My dog has had a few health issues but nothing major thankfully.

I gave it a star because there was no option to not give one. My puppy has been ill pretty much since day 1. My vet said the infection in her ear was disturbingly deep rooted . 9 months on and she is still having treatment. She also has IBD and is on a special hypoallergenic diet. She is adorable but has massive separation anxiety. I should have treaded more carefully when securing a puppy from Raffles as for a breeder who purports to home rear the puppies, new puppies seem to appear magically. Through my contacts I have discovered they sell puppies on a massive scale and cannot possibly care for them all or indeed breed them all. Ot is currently closing down. Take care not to get a puppy or purchase food/merchandise through any of their family members or contacts. Do your research . We need to stop these practices.

Raffles, dog breeders of Cockapoo and other cross breeds, is NO MORE. Raffles dog breeding license expired on 31/01/21 and is not being renewed.

I have two amazing cockapoos from Raffles. Loving, funny and have a wonderful nature. As a first time dog owner Mark was always very helpful

Definitely not 'For the love of Cockapoos'.

Firstly we know some people have had a good experience with Raffles, and we are so pleased that some owners have a happy healthy pup, but unfortunately this wasn't the case for us who picked our puppy up in July 2020. This is our genuine experience and we have paperwork and medical records to validate this review.

We pre-reserved in January 2020, however in May we were emailed to ask if we was okay with the price increase. That's when we realised our puppy had increased by £600. We questioned why this affected us as a pre-reserve customer and we were just told that everyone else's prices had gone up due to the pandemic and that they had held the prices for pups leaving May & June. We either had to agree to the new price or accept a refund of our deposit.

After much upset and distress we agreed to proceed as our puppy had been planned for over 12 months and we were devastated at the thought of not getting him. (At this point many other breeders were fully booked up due to the lockdown puppy surge).

We had very poor communication from Raffles throughout the whole ordeal, when it came to puppy selection we were told this would happen when pups were 6 weeks, then 8 weeks. Then at 7 weeks we were told to choose from 5 headshots. We were sent an 18 second video the following day that didn't even show all of the litter.

After we made our selection we had to keep asking for updated photos and videos, often with no reply, or was waiting up to a week later. Their explanation was that they'd had bad news in the family. However from other peoples experiences it seems this is a regular excuse.

On pick up day, our pup seemed terrified. We never saw mum, dad or littermates. He was unsettled on the drive home, after a few minutes we pulled over and offered him water, he frantically gulped down the whole bowl, so was obviously very thirsty which was alarming.

Ever since we got our pup home he had runny bloody stools. We was advised by Raffles not to got to the vets and to double dose him on panacur instead - which we didn't. We gave him the proper recommended dose and booked him at the vets. He had antibiotics and probiotics. We saw an improvement that week, but as soon as the antibiotics stopped the blood came back. He had a second course of antibiotics and we sent his stools off for faeces analysis - it came back with Giardia and Campylobacter. He then had to have a different antibiotic ordered to the vet surgery as the first one wasn't working.

As a result of this he still suffers with a sensitive tummy, poor immune system and struggles to fight off the slightest bug/infection. In December he had to have an injection and further antibiotics just to help him fight off seasonal diarrhoea.

Our pup also has a hereditary jaw abnormality known as an undershot jaw. This means that his jaw/teeth are out of alignment and has had to have surgery this week to remove his lower large tooth so that he can close his mouth and chew/eat properly. The alternative was to wait until he was fully grown to see if major jaw reconstruction was an option. Something we really didn't want to put him through. Having the tooth out was traumatic enough. - We have found some of our pup's littermates have the same problem, just thankfully not as severe.

Overall our pup seems to be one of the lucky ones, however I'm sure we aren't out of the woods just yet. We urge people to really think about what they are supporting before purchasing a pup from Raffles.

We urge you to read the positive and negative reviews on here and on certain unaffiliated Facebook pages that are unfiltered and honest. Some people are refusing to believe the negative reviews but this is 100% true. We are in no doubt that Raffles used to be an ethical family breeder, however in 2021 this sadly no longer seems to be the case. There are just too many poorly pups and discrepancies surrounding Raffles conduct for this to be true.

Prior to bringing our Cavapoo home just before Christmas during covid lockdown restrictions, we were sent a number of photos & video clips (with mum & rest of the litter)
We were allowed to visit once & were able to see mum with his siblings - all extremely happy.
We collected him fully vaccinated at 10.5 weeks old with all paperwork in order which reiterates how much Raffles do care.
Raffy was calm & loving from day 1, he was checked by our vet & given a perfect bill of health. He continues to go from strength to strength & at 14 weeks has pretty much mastered toilet training, night time crate sleeping & is off the lead on the 15 minute daily walks he has. He is sociable with other dogs we meet & not atall nervous or phased by hoovers, fireworks or other loud, sudden noises.
We are very happy with our gorgeous puppy & the service we received from Raffles.
We will certainly be back to purchase a playmate :)

Alike a recent poster, we bought our cockapoo from Raffles in 2018 taken in by positive reviews, realised too late how they exploit loopholes in the law and just how large a breeder they are - horrified to hear they had 250+ litters in the year we bought our dog. We love our dog, but are dismayed our money went to such a large, unethical breeder (only found out about the sheer volume of sick puppies after buying, thankfully ours wasn't) and would never go back.

Dune is our Cavapoo from Raffles, would never go anywhere else, we will be back for another no doubt, best advice, best support, best dog , thank you Raffles it has completed our family and you have made us very happy.

Since seeing an up rise in so many negative stories on social media, I thought I'd add my experience of this unethical breeder. I hope more people do the same so that less and less people buy puppies from them. I've also recently signed a petition on change.org and urge others to do the same.

We bought our puppy in 2018, I did lots of research but unfortunately fell victim to seeing hundreds of positive reviews - now I know this is because they delete all the negatives!!

They put on a good show, great website which people appreciate nowadays so it's easy to get sucked in. They say they will only allow their puppies to go to good homes - but how would they ever know, they didn't ask us one question! No questions were asked over email or in person - because quite frankly, they don't care. We'd love another cockapoo (obviously not from Raffles) and have been in contact with genuine home breeders who want to have a phone call and facetime (due to covid face to face was not an option) before agreeing to anything so they can check you out.

Like everyone else, we never saw our puppy with its litter or mum/dad. "Mum and Dad" were carried in but never saw any interaction between them so who knows if they were actually the mum and dad. At that point I did feel like it was a bit dodgy but when you've paid a deposit, have driven 4 hours to get there and have a beautiful puppy in your arms, your head and heart are working against each other!

Oh and additionally - we were told the mum was called Maggie but upon collection, our puppy's paperwork said the mum was Faith. We questioned this and they just scribbled out Faith and wrote Maggie instead.

I've since found an instagram account of a cockapoo born a few months before mine and the mum was supposedly Maggie too. So, was that dog subject to 2 litters back to back? Or are they just unable to keep track of which mum has produced which litter?

Their council rating has been reduced to 1* and they constantly report and block people who are trying to show other people the truth. The fact that they even block people for saying their dog has faded in colour is ridiculous. Obviously people love their dog regardless of colour so it doesn't matter but because they charge more for certain colours, it shows exactly why reputable breeders don't normally charge more for "rare" colours. Our dog was a deep red when we bought her - now she is completely white on top and it's slowly spreading to the rest of her coat. So charging us extra for a red was a joke when they know that their poodles have the 'progressive greying' gene.

They've also recently changed their mission statement to say they are against puppy farming and anyone that says they are a puppy farm are uneducated. Evidence suggests that they are 100% a puppy farm. The fact that they turn nasty and blame new owners for a sick puppy that they have reared says everything you need to know about the type of people they are.

I feel sick that I funded Raffles and when I look back now and add everything up that I've since seen and heard, I wish I run out of there and never looked back. I absolutely adore our cockapoo and wouldn't change her for the world but I am so upset that she came from such an awful place and that I've lined the pockets of such unethical people.

This is a genuine review and have paperwork to prove I purchased a puppy from them in December 2018.

We purchased a beautiful apricot cavapoo from Mark just after Christmas and have had an amazing experience with both Mark and the puppy.

Our puppy has such a lovely temperament and settled in really quickly. She was trained to go to the tiolet on paper which has been really helpful with her tiolet training and indoor accidents. Within a week, she is totally settled in a bedtime routine after guidance from Mark. She is loveable, fun and really smart, a very well rounded pup who has been raised and handled very well which I believe is why she has settled so well.

We are so pleased with the pre and after service from Raffles, and have recommended to our friends who are also purchasing pubs from Raffles.

I feel compelled to write a review for Raffles Cockapoos, as in August 2019 we bought our gorgeous Aussie - an apricot F1 cockapoo.
Communication with the breeders was great from start to finish. I got in contact with them after a friend had also got a puppy from Raffles earlier on in the year (her puppy - Dolly - is also wonderful).
I have seen a lot of awful reviews for Raffles but my experience has only been positive.
Yes, Raffles manages to rear a lot of puppies, but if you’re able to breed lots of gorgeous pups when the demand is high, I don’t seem the problem. Especially if both of the dogs rearing the pups are happy and healthy.

I don’t know all of the statistics, but the more puppies you breed, obviously the likelihood of having some that are genetically unwell is higher. It’s just the way it works unfortunately.

From the beginning the communication was appalling. I was surprised as I had someone at a kids sports match recommend them and tell me how great they were- they said they were so "professional". The website is well done with lots of lovely photos and great reviews. Our name was on the waiting list before Covid and I had to put a deposit down straight away without even seeing the puppy. I was really worried about doing this as many breeder's websites say check out puppies before putting down a deposit etc. but I went ahead. The money part ended up being fine but it did ring an alarm bell. The puppy came during Covid so I put down the lack of communication to these difficult times. I sent many emails and I only got a reply when I had to make a quick choice over the puppy 2 weeks before pick up. I couldn't see the puppy or parents prior to pick up as it was Covid so it wasn't easy for Raffles either. However, I was told I needed to choose quickly from 3 photos. I asked for more information and I finally received a 30 second video with all these puppies jumping around, around 10 of them jumping all over each other, so not easy to see/choose. The puppies were with an older dog and I presume it was their mum. I never saw the parents at pick up.
We arrived at the farm and it is all very lovely and clean and looks like a well-run machine. There were a few people picking up but we had to be quick as it was during Covid times. The puppy was TINY and I asked is it really 10 weeks old? they assured me she was but it was the cutest thing and my girls were in love. Everything looked in order except the lack of communication. However, I did ask the young guy who was handing over the puppy gear how many female dogs do you have and I think he said something like 50 or around that number and I remember being shocked and then he sort of changed the subject really quickly as if he shouldn't have said it. I was so focused on the puppy that I didn't really think much about it. So off we went with our new addition to the family.

Once we got in the car the poor puppy vomited about 6 times and had diarehhrea 3 times in 3 hours. She was a mess. We were told not to wash her for I think a week to 10 days but that was not an option as she was covered in vomit, poo and wee as I was. She continued to be sick and be very lethargic for days and not really a puppy full of energy. She didn't eat much and her stools had quite a bit of blood. I followed the directions on the portal which said all this was quite common and NOT to take your dog to the vet. Give it Panacur/chicken and rice etc. When I initially tried to give her the dry food Raffles sell/ make /label she used to vomit within the hour. To his day she can not eat their dry food- she always vomits. After 6 days I took her to the vet , her tummy was so distended even with the diarrhea and she had continued to vomit everyday. She had some bug and was constipated and her gut was a mess. I received some special food and probiotics from the vet which really helped but to this day we have to be so careful what we feed her. She often gets tummy upsets and can't eat for days and vomits up froth and a cough that is on and off from teh beginning. The vet has not got to the bottom of her issues. I have spent much time trying to get her healthy and for the most part she is good but then she has a tummy/vomitting episode.
I have never contacted raffles as the prior experience was so poor, i am sure they would have told me just to follow the website if they bothered to answer. I am sure there are alot of Raffles puppies who are in good health, the stronger ones but it seems from these reviews there are many in bad health also. I think when you have that many puppies you can't possibly know what is going on with all of them and who is eating what and who is vomitting.

Our puppy is also very scarred by men in boots and goes crazy when she sees them. she is in a safe, lovely environment with lots of love and nursing back to health and we just adore her but with her health issues I wouldn't go back to Raffles for my second pup. Something just doesn't add up.
