I am English have been backing on English horse racing for over 60 years and have used most of the English bookies I have been with racebets for about 3 years and find them to be the most generous and fair giving plenty of cash bonuses and special offers the staff are all polite and friendly satisfied customer norman malta

Bad choice to open account with them. They accept my bet and then say it was after the race. How the hell can you accept a bet after a race. They suck and. Do everything so that they don't have to pay you

Lose few bets since opening an account with them. The last bet, I put 10 euro on a horse I like with odd more than 10. Immediately I got an email that I am only allowed to bet SP but not early odd.
They are just so stupid because my bet end out losing.
Anyone who thought of joining RATbet...please dont. You are wasting your time and I doubt they will pay me if I really won the bet.

I made the mistake of winning a bet.
My account was immediately flagged as not eligible for fixed price bets, only SP, and no future bonuses.
I had tried to place a £ 10 bet at 15/8 when all this happened.

Ridiculous.

People stay away from racebets. They are no bookmaker, no integrity, no honesty, no values... they are nothing

They will not pay me my winnings, as each time i fail their "verification" for KYC. I have logged a complaint to the Malta Gaming Authority and invite everyone facing the same to do so. This company must be shut down for the sake of everyone.

I signed up after seeing an offer of a 1st deposit match up to £50, before I had a chance to deposit I received two emails from them, the first to say my account had been excluded from any bonuses, including the welcome bonus, the second asking me to verify my account. I decided just to ignore both and forget about the account, what a waste of time this company are!

Signed up to place a bet...received an email saying that my account wouldn't qualify for any bonuses....deposited some money to place a £50 bet and they wouldn't even let me stake £1....

What's the point so I withdrew my £50...Another on the list to go with the likes of Betfair, Ladbrokes, Betfred & Boylesports

Instantly limited to SP (starting price) odds. Also limited maximum stake with no warning or explanation whatsoever. Stay away.

When I signed up the sent me an email saying: (quote) "we want to be the first port of call for horse racing enthusiasts who want to place a bet". The following day they send me an email saying that my account is nor eligible for fixed price odds.

This is absolutely the last port of call for horse racing enthusiasts - go to one on the bigger bookmakers who care about their customers

I'd just like to echo the sentiments of others on here. Deposited £50, race won then account restricted. Online chat very unhelpful.
In order to withdraw bonus money I have to place £250 worth of bets (pretty standard) but they started by restricting the amount I could bet to £19.59 and after 6 bets they've reduced to £9.59. They're trying to make it impossible for me to withdraw the bonus and again, they've refused to give me an explanation.

They've also blocked me on Twitter too. Awful company. Surprised they can do what they do.

Six one pound bets, different horses and different meetings and they all lost. Result SP only and limited stakes. That's the truth and this company is legal robbery. Stay away!!!!!

these cowboys should not have a licence after one or bets will limit you to sp bets only and take all bonuses away from your account.

Within two race bets of mine, winning one and losing the other, I received an email titled 'Account not eligible for fixed odds'. The email goes on further to say even if I place bets with starting price odds the stake amount is also restricted!

Honestly the worst betting site i have ever used

Like the user above i deposited once. I had £50 on a 7/4 winner (25p R4) and was told i could no longer bet on fixed odds. After one bet???

I thought well stuff this i will put everything on the next race and close the account. This wasnt possible as they had placed a stake limit of 19.33 on my account.

So i was forced to withdraw my 26 pounds profit. At this point they decided they needed documents. Strange as every other betting site hasnt needed documents to verify my identity

Honestly the rudest and least helpful staff you could wish to deal with. All in all a horrible site which in my view is falsely advertising winners as how can someone win 14,000 when you cant bet more than 19.33 on a race after being reduced after one bet

Verlieren ist ok und wenn man mal gewinnt, dann wird man limitiert auf 1-2 Euro. Mit Bonus wird geworben und auch von diesem wird man ausgeschlossen. Als Antwort wird einem immer gesagt, das haben die Buchmacher so entschieden. Das heißt, ich wette über die Racebets-Plattform, spiele aber bei irgendwelchen unbekannten Buchmachern. Diese arbeiten wohl auf Umsatzbasis und elimnieren jeden der mal gewinnt. Auf die Idee zu kommen, ich habe ein Pferd falsch eingeschätzt und einen zu hohen Festkurs gegeben. Weit gefehlt. Der Kunde ist der Böse, denn er hat ja das Pferd gespielt. Unseriöser geht es nicht. Wenn man bei der Telefonhotline nachfragt warum, dann wird einem nur gesagt, sie wüssten schon warum und ist halt so. Ich gebe meine Wetten Stundenlang vorher ab. Soviel nur mal dazu. Von Demokratie keine Spur. Man muss alles akzeptieren und wenn man nachfragt wird einem gesagt, sie sind kein optimaler Kunde.

Als langjähriger Wetter auf Pferderennen und racebets-Kunde kann ich nur warnen: sobald man - auch nur kurzfristig und nach großen Verlusten über lange Zeit - erfolgreich ist, werden die Wettmöglichkeiten in absurder Weise eingeschränkt (für Experten: Festkurse u.ä.), so daß man z.B. nur noch Wetten i.H. von maximal 2 € abgeben kann. Heute sind mir dann erfolreiche Wetten (Gewinn etwa 50 €) nach dem Rennen storniert worden.
Reklmationen werden grundsätzlich mit dem Kommentar abgebügelt, das mache ja der Buchmacher, da sei man nicht zuständig. Daß der Kunde den Buchmacher offensichtlich nicht kontaktieren kann, versteht sich da fst von selbst ....

It's definitely a specialist site. You can only bet on horse racing (no other sports or casino games, which some people might find a bit limiting), but that suits me as it's all I bet on.

They seem to cover racing all over the world, even in places like south america and asia. i only bet on uk races with them though as they have best odds guaranteed on them.

I had no problem claiming the 50 quid bonus and the wagering requirements seemed pretty reasonable. Looking on Oddschecker, their prices are almost always competitive and sometimes they are offering the best price. My computer is a bit old, so I'm glad their site does not use flash. This has been a problem for me on some other betting sites.

I would recommend it and I'm going to keep betting with them, but as i said I'm only into racing. You will need to go elsewhere if you want to bet on other sports.
