Quirky Dovetail Anmeldelser

Trevor came and painted 2 chest of drawers that were old and very tired looking. They now look like new - he did a perfect job. Thank you Quirky Dovetail.

Andy and Lee painted my blanket box, writing bureau and nest of 3 tables. Everything looks amazing, I’m delighted with the results. This is my second experience with Quirky Dovetail and I cannot praise you enough. It was a real pleasure having you work in my home. Big thanks and best wishes.Carol C.

Andy was very responsive to my enquiry and was a pleasure to do business with Lovely guy and high standard of finish and attention to detail My old dresser looks amazing now and I feel I got great value for money

Have used Quirky Dovetail for many years and they always deliver. Just given a cupboard a new lease of life and am thrilled with it. Thanks so much Andy!

Andy did a fantastic job of painting a bedside unit and valet stand. I had been close to throwing them away before they were painted, but now they are totally transformed and look FABULOUS. Thank you so much. Having you come to paint them at my house made it super easy! Highly recommend

Andy and Jules did a fantastic job of transforming an old mahogany glass fronted dresser (I think technically a closet secretaire) into an amazing statement piece.
But the main thing is that when I look at the dresser I'll have a good memory of how nice they were.

They did an amazing job, was thrilled with the results - a shabby wardrobe transformed into an elegant, beautiful piece. Delightful customer service and a pleasure to have in our home. Thank you Andy and Lee!

Just had my gorgeous mid-century chest of drawers delivered from Quirky Dovetail & I'm delighted. It's even nicer than the on-line pictures and was amazing value for the quality of the peice. Payment was dealt with easily & it was delivered quickly, direct to its new home in my hall. Andy gave me a 1 hour slot so I didn't wait all day & he and his colleague Trevor were careful, helpful and punctual! I can't recommend QD more highly.

The chest of drawers are just what we wanted. They were painted perfectly in just the right shade.
The delivery was easy and trouble free.
Andy and team do a great job - thank you!

We could not be more thrilled. From start to finish it was a pleasure dealing with this company. They totally transformed a fairly boring, tired piece of furniture into something special. The workmanship was top class.

Absolutely delighted with my painted Console Table.
Customer service at its very best. Extremely fast turn around and delivery organised speedily.
Would definitely recommend this company.
Thank you so much.

Quirky Dovetail painted my old sideboard (passed down from my grandmother) in a lovely grey to match my living room. All of the communication was excellent, from ideas for colours to go for to organising when I would be able to drop off the piece. The finished product is absolutely incredible and I am SO happy with it. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Quirky Dovetail to anyone and will definitely go back to them next time I have a piece to update!

Have a large sideboard which was great for storage but pretty old and did not fit in with new colour scheme. Decided to have it painted and I am so glad I chose Quirky Dovetail to do the work. Andy was so helpful in suggesting colours that I should look at. Sideboard returned to me looking fantastic and now fits in with my new colour scheme beautifully. I strongly recommend this Company if you want an old piece of furniture given a new lease of life. Thank you Andy and the young men who had to collect and deliver back a very heavy sideboard on time and with loving care.

Ordered a bureau from Quirky Dovetail and really happy with it! The colour wasn’t quite right and they painted it to a colour of my choice and it looks great!

Great Furniture at great prices! Expertly maintained/painted

I’m delighted to write a review for this company. I’ve had several pieces of furniture painted by them and every time they’ve done a beautiful job and always gone the extra mile to match colours and give me exactly what I was looking for. Andy and his team are always so helpful. Thanks again Andy, you’ve done another great job!!

Just had my Georgian chest of drawers and mirror painted pavillion gray - very please and they match my side tables - a new lease of life! Thank you Quirky Dovetail. We miss you in Ritherdon Road, but good to have you online!

So happy with our recent armchair, purchased from Quirky Dove Tail. The quality is beautiful, and it fits perfectly in our ‘Snug’ next to the fire place. Very impressed and would definitely recommend!

Excellent personalised service- I requested some bespoke changes to a pair of chairs and a custom made footstool, all gladly accommodated and delivered promptly. Furniture is excellent quality and excellent value. A lovely local business.
