3 months now since a merchant made a refund and Pyypl are still holding my money and wasting my time with automated useless replies.
And all the positive reviews here are FAKE ❌, they make fake accounts and write 5 stars reviews here to cover for their scams.
There are hundreds of victims like me that you can find complaining all-over the social media.
Keep your money safe, don't use Pyypl, aka: fake PayPal
UPDATE 🚨: After +3 months of lies and automated replies, I still got nothing.

This card was crashing and in maintainance most of the time so i was not able to use it m, not to mention i was refunded on January and i only got my money today the 28th of April, which in my book it unacceptable. So im giving them only one star. Also i just blocked my card because i became aware that portion of their revenue are send to isral to defeat the defenceless civilians in ghaza. So i withdrew all my money i will not use it again

Overall it's the best financial services app/organization no hassle of documents needed to make an account it's just done within 3 steps and account is created, no hassle of going far away to search for an atm to deposit cash has many other options along with many kiosk in many areas for depositing. But all I need is the refund and transfer to take place without needing to contact the customer support that had be greatly appreciated, apart from that Pyypl is best and fast for easy contactless transactions both online and offline.

With all the responses I see from past experiences I regret using Pyypl, If I had known people had similar experiences I would never use the app in my life. Pyypl Is behaving like scammers using peoples money to run their business. I had a failed debit card transaction which was refunded instantly by the merchant, case number 334256, I sent the proof of transaction and the merchant also helped me with a detailed letter stating the transaction was refunded but pyypl never take customer complaints very serious all their support team would just reply with an automated response and leave your complaint unattended. My whole capital has been stuck with them I had to take a loan in other to pay for my rent. I’m really disappointed in your service

Their customer service is poor. They don't have a dedicated calling number or real time chat with a customer rep. They don't take their responsibility to their customers serious. My refund has been pending for over 25 days now and they've refused to return it back to me. This is caused me my business as the fund itself was a loan I took from the bank to sustain my business but pyypl has ruin me just because I used their service.
I won't advise or encourage anyone contemplating on using their service, it will do you more harm than food. It's best to stay away from them as they're unresponsive.
Even here I wrote a review since 4 days ago, they're yet to show concern or respond to it. If you complain in the telegram, they'll remove you and block you. They only respond or want food reviews.

There are two refunds that were made by Booking.com to my Pyypl card, one in January and the other in March. I provided Pyypl support with ARNs for both transactions and the refunds are still not processed, so I've been waiting for over 3 months now. (The ticket number is 250304 in case you want to reply with your "We want to help you with your complaint" standard comment).
In general, it's really strange how they handle the refunds, because there've also been a couple authorization microtransactions from taxi apps which are normally refunded immediately, but Pyypl haven't refunded them at all.
UPD: 10 days after I wrote a review here they contacted me via the ticket and processed the refunds the same day.

I’m really disappointed by support team lack of response for my problem. I used this service for a while without any problems but after it was down for several weeks and came back, I couldn’t get my card details. I thought it was just a bug which it would be fixed but that was not fixed even with updates. I’ve also used other phone but no luck unfortunately. I contacted support service on 4/5th of April but they wouldn’t answer. 342142 Was the ticket number.

I had a bad experience — I made a purchase on a website for $300, and they failed to deliver the product. {They issued a refund, but after waiting one month, nothing was credited to my Pyypl account. Subsequently, I created a ticket (#269365) with proof of the refund, yet nothing has been resolved.} It's been three months, and they’re still only “reviewing” the case. I don't recommend them; their behavior is akin to that of thieves. Hopefully, this helps others steer clear of using their services.

I have made numerous attempts to follow up on the status of my refund, contacting your customer service department via email on multiple occasions. However, each time, I have been met with promises of resolution that have yet to be fulfilled. The lack of transparency and accountability in this matter is deeply concerning and reflects poorly on the reputation of Pyypl.
Given the significant delay and the lack of communication, I am left with no choice but to escalate this matter further. If immediate action is not taken to process my refund and provide a clear timeline for when I can expect to receive the funds, I will have to explore alternative avenues for resolution, including seeking assistance from consumer protection agencies and legal counsel.
I demand urgent attention to this matter and request a prompt update on the status of my refund. Furthermore, I expect compensation for the inconvenience, frustration, and time wasted in pursuing this matter.
I anticipate your swift response and resolution to this issue, as further delay will only exacerbate my dissatisfaction with your services. Restoring my faith in the integrity of Pyypl is paramount, and I trust that you will take the necessary steps to address this situation promptly.

On Feb 18th I've made probably a greatest mistake by returning a product I purchased using a Pyypl card for 160$. From the merchant's side the refund request has been done within the same day so the money has been fully transferred back to my Pyypl card on Feb 18th. It's now April 10th and that refund hasn't appeared on my Pyypl account yet. So for 2 months I'm waiting for the resolution of my case! And no money, no purchased goods to use no nothing and all I get from Pyypl support by far is automated replies. Unlawful, unacceptable, outrageous!

Upd. 22.04.2024.
Today is a day when I got my long-awaited refund. Finally. 2 months of patient waiting since Feb 18th are gone. It's obvious that after all I've been through I can't encourage with open heart others to start using Pyypl, but at least I can say they are not thieves. And in spite of everything I'd happily give them 4 stars only if they'd bother to share what exactly caused such enormous delay in refunding.

Normally when the transaction is cancelled or has not been completed because money did not reach the merchant by pyypl so the refund should not take more then 5 days but here its taking more then 15 days still not completed. Now money needs to be send and there is lots of delays due to it. i dont know why this refund is taking lots of time it should not even take 1 day even since your system was down and its been 15 days nothing has been done yet? all my reviews are positive but here i have to make certain that this level of service i do not expect this from you and this is what has been done for customers with system outage and money is hanged no where due to system failure. it does not take that much time to fix it? and you dont even have status page where we know what exactly is the problem and what is the ETA when its going to be sorted.
I will update the stars to maximum if this issues is resolved ASAP. since i have been waiting and had alot of patience waiting . Please kindly see in ticket Ref# 316426.

EDIT Update as of 22 April 2024: I have received the refund and Thanks to pyypl customer support team that has done the refund.
I advise all other customers of pyypl to be patient and just have one channel support example if its twitter just be on it dont open lots of conversation it will delay there process. rest assured pyypl is one of best service provider in UAE for your financial needs.
The best method is to open a ticket pyypl.zendesk.com and have your ticket in hand so you can follow up and its also taken care .
