Excellent availability and professionalism, I was guided on how to resolve a technical issue, and I was also assisted by sending adequate documentation.

I did most of this some time ago, but finally went back and worked through the last couple modules and a review was requested.

This is an extremely detailed walk through of every major feature of the device, and as new features are added, updated videos are added to cover the new feature. It will let you know and show you as 'not finished' so you can easily find where there are updates.

I know in the world of 5 star reviews or nothing a 4 star review might seem bad, but I found this to be well worth its money, but I also struggled with a few things that I wasn't able to figure out from the video.

I am mostly using my Push 3 stand alone, so a lot of times referring back to live to do something that I later figured out might be doable on the push (Matrix for Wavetable a big one) was shown on live while I was trying to learn it on stand alone.

I also had hoped to some more examples of playing the pads for musical notes. There are mutiple ways you can play notes, and I have struggled with this in the less than a year I've owned my push coming from a Piano player. There is a solid examples on the 4th layout, but I'm weird and wanted flat 5s and 9ths and a few other things that are hidden, so going chromatic.

So, this is probably a five star review for most people, but there were some areas I struggled with related to my musical journey.

One thing I wish the system used to present the videos remembered the volume settings, for some reason on my computer (Mac w/Safari) whenever it starts a new video it resets to FULL VOLUME on the video, and I adjust it down, and then next video is FULL VOLUME.

Watching Craig work through the various configurations with each parameter offers a learning technique I have found enjoyable. Having fun with Live 12.1.???? is what makes his approach the best. Humble and effective teaching style, I don't regret a penny spent on his classes. I did not give five stars because I am only 3 modules in. I look forward to the next lesson and quiz.

A must have if you want to skip long hours of fumbling around and reading the manual. This course helps save you time and frustration in the ever changing fast paced music industry. My clients want fast production and professional results. This course is a lifesaver worth every penny. Thank you Craig!!

This course is excellent, even for someone who knows nothing about music production. I am a musician but knew nothing about production until taking this course. Now I feel I am really getting somewhere and am confident in my ability to make my own recordings. This step-by-step approach really works for me.

I've tried doing several ableton courses but this is the only one which enables me to understand clearly what you are trying to achieve and how to go about that process.

Love the way the lessons are structured and the fact that Craig gives a recap with some exercises to practice the techniques. He comes across as very sympathetic and passionate about what he’s doing. It's really hard to learn a sophisticated instrument like Push 3 and this course really helps those to get through the rough hurdles in mastering an instrument that is a new invention in the electronic music field.

I'll tell you my plan. I'm going to go through the course first to get a general impression. Then I'm going to go through it a second time. But now I'm going to put everything I've learned into practice. So I'm going to start making compositions based on this course. I'm going to do that lesson by lesson and module by module. Another goal is that I'm going to try to make one track per week. I will publish everything on soundcloud and I'm going to take a year for that.

Great to have all informatiom from the Push manual explained in and shown in practical use. I bought the Push 3 SA some time ago but never got time to really use it much. The course helps a lot with getting up to speed.

Good content, no fluff. I have a different, well-known and much more comprehensive course, but struggled with that as it is very slow going and repetitive. Craig doesn't waste words and doesn't repeat himself so you have to pay attention, but you get a very compact, concise and detailed introduction.

Just purchased a Push 3 Standalone, and coming from Akai, learning Ableton is like learning a new language lol. Push Patterns has an amazing course on Push 3, and I recommend it to anyone interested in learning their way around this beautiful machine. Great step by teaching and the way it's setup, you can rewind it if you missed something, or watch it again. I'm only a few modules in, but things are becoming easier because of the course!

This is an outstanding course and whilst I expected it to be really good having seen many of Craig's videos on YouTube, it has exceeded my expectations.

Craig is a brilliant teacher - he is knowledgeable and is very clear, friendly and concise in his delivery style. The videos are professionally executed and the course is divided up into manageable sections with thorough explanations and demonstrations.

I highly recommend this course whether you are a newbie to music production or changing over to a new DAW like I am.

Just finished this Ableton Live 12 & Push 3 course from Pushpatterns.com, and wow, I'm seriously impressed! It made learning Ableton and the Push a breeze, even though I was a total newbie. Craig (the instructor) explains everything so clearly, and I never felt lost or overwhelmed. What's really cool is that it focuses on actually making music, not just boring theory. Now, I feel like I can actually use the Push 3 for real! Craig is super passionate about Ableton and it totally rubs off on you. This course was a game-changer for me, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn Ableton and Push.
