There are moments when it feels easier to suppress your own thoughts and emotions in order to push through tasks and simply “manage expectations.” But one of the most valuable takeaways from the Anxiety Release Group Session was the reminder to acknowledge and embrace all of my feelings — even the ones I might usually label as “negative.” These emotions serve a purpose; they are part of my growth, my learning, and the unfolding of who I am becoming.

Since that session, I’ve noticed a meaningful shift in how I speak to myself. I’ve been gentler, more compassionate — and I’ve made a conscious effort to stay open, even when things felt stagnant. I chose to expect the unexpected, and in less than a week, two extraordinary things happened:

✨ I was invited to present on a topic close to my heart at a regional level,
✨ and I was offered a role at an organisation that aligns beautifully with my values — one that empowers me to make a real difference in the lives of future generations.

What truly touched me was hearing the interviewer say, “We’re not hiring you — we’re hiring your experiences. You’re going to be so great here.” All three interviewers were incredibly warm and encouraging. I felt deeply honoured — and honestly, I’m still glowing from the experience.

This has reaffirmed something powerful: there is so much value in cultivating a positive, open, and abundant mindset. When you treat yourself with kindness and stay aligned with your purpose, the impact only grows. I’m truly grateful I showed up for myself by joining that session.
