Much, MUCH better than my last carrier.
I was on a family plan with another carrier, and was not the primary on the account. That meant I was not in control of my own money or the decisions being made. Customer service was terrible and I ended up being lied to when my broken phone had to be replaced. That cost me over $1100 out of pocket! Enough!
Now we’re only saving about $10 per month BUT… I am in control of the account and I value that greatly. Plus Pure Talk has MUCH BETTER customer service and support - in spoken English that I can understand!! Their agents are always professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Everything is always handled quickly. I love the flexibility of being able to add data or otherwise make adjustments at any time. This is a great company!!

Was having issues dropping my carrier and internet and one call got me going.
My first bill was for $45.

Second and third were $65.
When I inquired , I was told that I signed up for insurance for both phones. I didn't.
If I had, wouldn't it be on the first bill?

I like that it’s a veteran run company. Prices are very reasonable. Being able to speak with someone in the USA is good. I do have some dead zones to deal with and would like not to have those. I wish there was a store so I could get help with problems even if I need to drive a ways from my normal areas. I haven’t used customer service yet however I will be possibly calling to see if the experience I have with some calls being difficult to hear can fixed and if issues with scammers or requests to download a cleaner app is also a scam. It states my phone is severely damaged; yet I can use it still.

Changed from Verizon to Puretalk.
Changed from Verizon to Puretalk and we are saving nearly $100 per month. We haven’t seen any change in our service and we travel a lot in our RV. Change over was seamless and the tech changed both our phones and my watch without problems. Should have done this change a few years back

For the first time, when talking with a PureTalk customer service advisor, Shamika (sorry if I misspelled her name) was very helpful and clear about the steps I need to take to resolve my issues with my phone and confirm my daughter’s phone. Previous attempts to contact customer service were not so smooth, so thank you for renewing my faith in PureTalk, Shamika!

The people that I have talked to have been very nice & they SPEAK ENGLISH.
Both phones are working, but there are things that I can't do. My flip phone, I can't work the voice mail & I can't make the alarm work. I called your customer service & the lady talks way over my head. I can't figure out what e]she wants me to do.
The only thing Verizon does better than you is, I could take my phone to them & they would show me how.
Oh well, I will just go w/o voice mail.

Me personally - I'm happy with the service. However, my husband is not and doesn't like the phone either. The big issue with him is that he can't go anywhere to get help with how to use the phone and he gets frustrated about that. Do you have any suggestions?
The representative
The representative, Stephanie, was very courteous and helpful. I was having trouble deleting an app and Stephanie guided me through steps I had not tried and I was able to delete the app. Stephanie then checked my plan to see if I was due for an upgrade, which I am, and she helped complete the transaction. I have been very pleased with all my interactions with Pure Talk since joining a couple years ago. Stephanie was very easy to work with and very knowledgeable about the plans and phones, I am very satisfied with this whole experience, thanks to Stephanie!!
1 Pure Talk Downsides
1. Threatening to cut off service even though bills are paid and not late. Plus billing errors which has happened more than once.
2. Long wait times to get to customer service and then when they agree to call you back when there is a bad connection, you never hear from them.
3. Service is fair at best even when in major metropolitan areas. Many times you will see a missed call even with your phone in hand because it never rang, just sent caller to voicemail. We have (3) lines and this happens often on all 3 lines regardless of location.
4. Calls just drop for no reason even with full bars sitting in same spot not moving even when conversing with a landline. BTW, 2 of the phones are brand new androids and the other is practically new.
5. You may save some, but not much, by using pure talk but you will pay the price for much poorer service. In my case the service is extremely important due to health issues.

I had some questions about my account and foreign travel and Jessica answered my call. She was extremely friendly and helpful, answering all my questions and threw in some phone travel tips! Another plus... in America and spoke perfect English!

I initially had trouble transferring over and had to spend a lot of time on the phone.
However, the had just changed their whole system to update from 25 years of an earlier operating system. I just so happened to be switching as this transfer system was in progress.
All the team members I spoke to were very intelligent, kind, patient, and available to help at all times!!!
They also compensated me all my trouble!!
So all good!!
