In 1998, Propstore founder Stephen Lane’s love for movies led him to hunt for the same props and costumes used to create his favorite films. He found that he could provide collectors with access to their most coveted pieces and establish archival standards for this new, pop-culture hybrid of fine art and memorabilia collecting - prop art.
Since 2014, Propstore has regularly hosted live auctions featuring some of the world’s greatest Entertainment Memorabilia treasures. Propstore specializes in film and television props and costumes, production materials, and artwork, as well as music memorabilia, posters, and collectible toys. Delivered on time
Delivered on time, packaged well, no damage. Over the moon with my screen used Pandorum prop

$3,492.91 paid. No props. No support.
I bought two lots of original Rebel Moon film props from The Prop Store in March 2025.
Total paid to The Prop Store: $3,492.91, including $608 shipping and $27.72 shipping insurance.
$2,200 of the hammer price was destined to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
The shipment was sent by FedEx in May 2025.
It never arrived.
The Prop Store arranged the shipping with FedEx. When something went seriously wrong, I expected The Prop Store to properly pursue the matter with the courier they had contracted, rather than leaving me, the customer, to deal with the consequences.
Instead:
-I spent months trying to resolve the situation.
-The Prop Store had already submitted claims to FedEx.
-I asked for copies of those claims and documentation regarding the shipping insurance.
-I was initially told that this would be looked into.
-I followed up repeatedly.
-I never received the requested documentation or a meaningful response.
-I ultimately had to hire lawyers and take legal action against FedEx myself.
Legal fees so far: $3,900 — and counting.
These were unique and irreplaceable Rebel Moon film props, not ordinary merchandise.
After paying $3,492.91 to The Prop Store, I expected considerably more support when the shipping went wrong.
Instead, I was left to fight the battle myself.

We’re also disappointed to hear that you ultimately felt you had no choice but to pursue the matter with FedEx through legal representation. We appreciate the considerable time and expense this has involved for you.
There are aspects of this matter that we’re unable to discuss in detail publicly, but we do take your feedback regarding communication and support seriously. Not great. The guitar I purchased is not in playable working function and that was not mentioned in the listing. Electronics are bad.

As outlined in our auction terms, lots containing electronic or mechanical components are sold without any guarantee or warranty as to their functionality, lifespan or safety. Buyers are advised to satisfy themselves as to the condition and functionality of these components before bidding.

Poor Service, Poor Shipping
Exorbitant fees, threatened and insulted when concerns were raised, product arrived damaged (bent over the edge of the cardboard bracers) and in a simple Ziploc bag. Company does not have respect for consumers or the medium of animation.

However, we would like to clarify that the suggestion that you were “threatened and insulted” when raising your concerns is not an accurate representation of our correspondence. When you asked whether a payment plan could be arranged, our team explained that payment plans are only available for orders over £2,000, as clearly outlined in our auction terms and conditions. As your order was significantly below this threshold, we were unable to offer a payment plan.
Our correspondence also explained the consequences of failing to complete a legally binding auction purchase, which you had raised in your correspondence. This was not intended as a threat or insult, but as an explanation of the terms applicable to all winning bidders. The Buyer’s Premium and applicable payment terms are clearly stated in our auction terms and are also presented during the bidding and checkout process.
With regard to the condition and packaging of the item, we would be happy to investigate the matter further for you. Our team will reach out to you offline to reach a solution regarding any shipping damage.
We remain committed to treating our customers and the animation community with respect and professionalism.

The organisation was great
The organisation was great, and my item came well packaged. The only shock was now much the tax and postage cost me considering it was posted in the same country the auction took place. It came to an additional £100 for both. Apart from that everything went well.
