Great foundations
This has been a great course to get the basics. I've appreciated the quizzes after every module to reinforce what I've learned. I would have appreciated more info on lesson planning, for example, where to start and/or curriculum options.

Completed my 120-hour course!
This course is well-structured and evenly paced. If you are more of an audio learner, you will be catered for! I greatly appreciated the mini-quizzes at the end of each section of a module. This allowed me to check that I had understood a section before continuing on.
Post course, I have a stronger appreciation for the English language and feel more confident to teach English! I also recognize all the support provided by Premier TEFL.
Speaking of support, I would also like to thank Olivia from Premier TEFL for handling my query so quickly! She treated me with so much kindness and provided me with all the necessary information.

It was all good until my second assessment
It was all good until my second assessment. I submitted it and, 2 days later, got an email saying that it was 54.9% AI. The fact that I don't use AI at all is alarming here. I'm a Master's student in Law, so I always write academically and professionally - it's what we are supposed to do in essays, dissertations and anything else. The AI report showed that I used some phrases too much, such as: "they build strong...", "prepares them for more...", and many more very simple phrases. I was even flagged for breaking the answers down using subheadings such as: "How it helps:", "What it is:" - we are literally recommended to use these in the mini guide each question offers. They use CopyLeaks to detect AI, which mostly detects for predictability. I actually tested this out before I submitted it, and it caught literally everything I wrote out as AI. I even tried it with a message that I sent my friend, and that was apparently 30% AI.
So basically, if you're an academic writer, you'll probably fail at least one assessment and have to pay £70 after already paying around £300 for the course.
I'll be glad when this is done with.
