we played at basildon sporting village, the refs told us to F*** off multiple times, also charging me a huge amount of money because we decided to leave the league because of the incident. do not go they are scamming you for your money to be treated like sh*t. no point in emailing the company as they are no help either.

Had my sons birthday there today Jemma looked after us she was an amazing host and took care of everything we needed looked after us well. Would recommend powerleague for a party golden boot all the way. One happy boy today

We gathered at the Powerleague Barnet branch today for my son's birthday, but the fact that the air conditioning wasn't working—while the temperature in London was 35 degrees—made the experience truly miserable, and the staff offered absolutely no help. The AC units were broken and not cooling the place down; when we asked about it, we were told that Powerleague wasn't responsible for the air conditioning. We spoke to the manager, Alex, but he simply apologized. My guests were very upset about the situation. I would definitely advise against going there in hot weather; we received neither a discount nor any alternative solution. However, the football coach was excellent with the kids—I want to thank him—but I don't think I'll be hosting a birthday party at Powerleague again.

Requested to leave the league before the season had started, was told not allowed to as a text message is considered an agreement to the T&Cs and I would be liable to pay for the full season cost despite the season not even starting. Our league handler is terrible, have been raising the state of the pitch for over a year to be told the venue is dealing with it, nothing has been done in a year and the goals are falling apart. When asking my league handler to speak to a manager I am told she handles it and there is no one else I can speak to.

Asked to pull our team out of a fixture due to the red weather warning and following met office advice to avoid activities in the strong heat, the league handle responded by saying the company has decided the games are to go ahead and to stay hydrated, if we dont show we are liable to pay both teams match fees.

Would avoid joining any of there leagues they will try to squeeze every penny out of you, I would recommend to find a local run league instead because I am counting down the days until I can leave their league.

Thank you so much for hosting our annual Football Tournament at Slough Powerleague. Everyone had a fabulous time and each year we get more and more organised, with your help. We had over 100 people turn out which was amazing and very comfortable, with the pitch that you gave us.

We had my son Arys’s party at Powerleague Shepherd’s Bush yesterday from 3–5pm,10th of may and it was honestly an amazing experience from start to finish.

The staff were absolutely wonderful — friendly, organised, helpful and always there when we needed anything. A special thank you to the coach, who was so professional and really knew how to deal with children. He kept all the kids engaged, made sure everyone was included, and created such a fun and positive atmosphere throughout the party.

Arys had the best time ever, and all the children left so happy and excited. As adults, we also loved how spacious the venue was, with plenty of comfortable indoor and outdoor space for everyone to relax and enjoy the party.

Thank you so much to the whole team for making Arys’s day so special. Highly recommend! ⚽🎉

We celebrated our son’s 6th birthday party at Powerleague Harrow today, and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we made.
When I first booked it, I wasn’t sure how it would work—especially with such young children and how the football activities would be managed. But since our son absolutely loves football, we decided to give it a try after finding them online—and we’re so glad we did!

The entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. The Powerleague team organised everything perfectly, making it a completely stress-free day for us.

The coach was outstanding—engaging, energetic, and brilliant with the kids. He adapted everything perfectly for their age group, keeping them entertained and involved throughout. You could really see his experience and ability to manage young children in such a fun and structured way.

All the kids had an amazing time, and the feedback from other parents was overwhelmingly positive. Many of them said it was the best party their children had attended!

The team took care of everything, including the food, and were incredibly accommodating to any requests we had. Their kindness and attention to detail really stood out.

A huge thank you to the coach and the entire team for making our son’s birthday so special. I would highly recommend Powerleague Harrow to anyone looking to host a fun, memorable, and hassle-free football party.

The only small suggestion I would make is to provide clearer instructions for getting to the venue, particularly for finding the correct entrance gate, as that could be a little confusing.

Overall, an excellent experience!

Really poor experience with Powerleague.
League organisation was chaotic. On weeks without fixtures, you’re told you might have a friendly, but it isn’t confirmed until a couple of hours before kick-off. If a game appears, you’re expected to pay whether you’re available or not, and there’s no option to decline.
What’s worse is how it’s handled. I wasn’t aware I’d missed a couple of payments earlier in the season. There was no contact or attempt to resolve it, then a week after the league finished I was suddenly being chased by debt collectors for an inflated amount.
No communication, no flexibility, straight to debt collectors. Poorly run and badly handled

This review is for Powerleague at Trentham Lakes, Stoke.

We've had a block booking there for years, playing at least once a week. The pitches are much better than at our previous location and they also have a nice bar with lots of seating and large screen TVs, which we often use for a drink after the games.

The staff are all great, particularly Kirsty, Keara and Alex. We're always greeted with a smile and a chat at reception, and if ever we need anything, they're really helpful. Whether it be making sure we have enough parking spaces on match days, to clearing the pitches of snow so our games can go ahead, they're always available to help.

Basildon five a side Monday night is Awful. Turn up to matches and see teams have merged on multiple weeks teams we played has players who play for the better teams playing for them. We then asked to leave the league and was told we are not allowed to. Expecting us to pay because the league has had multiple teams leave now due to the standard and organisation. Never coming back awful.

Anthony was extremely polite and friendly when asking questions about potential outstanding balances. He answered all my questions throughly and was overall an amazing ambassador for Powerleague!

Wallahi Kira from MK branch horrible and showed a lot of attitude and started shouting at me for coming from the wrong exit and JOE refused to get my mates ball. Do something about her KIRA is a horrible lady and God will get her back because he is fair. Wallahi Kira is horrible from Mk please get rid of her

I booked a 10th Birthday party for my son in the Romford’s a Powerleague.
I expected more for the money i paid, there were teenagers looking after the party . Jay was the one taking the kids to the Astro turf .
I had to ask can you fill up the drinks jug , the pizzas were not put out on each table parents of the kids had to help out as i was on my own it was embarrassing.
I also had to ask them to cut the cake because they could not remember.
It was very very disorganised and messy no help at all . The teenagers even kept laughing when i asked for more water saying ‘I thought it was for you’ .
I am very upset with it all because i did not enjoy my sons birthday as i had to run around making sure everything was put in place which I should not have to do seen as i paid for the party to be handled by powerleague hence the reason i had the party otherwise i would of had it at the park.
I do not recommend a children’s party at all.

this is a brand-new power league in Romford, I must say I was very shocked at what we came across the turf is awful not level when the ball bounces the ball does not bounce straight back up. It bounces at an angle. Also it feels like the turf they’ve used isn’t sufficient for the paddle balls as there is no quality if you are serious about paddle do not play here rocket paddle is down the road so much better and you don’t have to pay £8.50 for balls they give them for free at paddle rocket

The company made an error which meant our match was scheduled with less than two days notice. We could not make this fixture, they then proceeded to try to charge us for the fixture as well as the opponents' fees, which was a total of over eighty pounds. It was only when we escalated the matter with our bank and the financial conduct authority did they back down. Overall a very negative experience, due to lack of professionalism, competence and customer care. I would not recommend their 5 a side leagues to anyone.

Dreadful company, tried charging us for 2 games when we played one. Threatened for 3rd party agency’s. When we cancelled the game at 4, the game was at 9:20 they charged us double fee which meant £82. Went from a fun game of 6 a side to half a legal battle. They talk to you like your stupid just money grabbing thief’s.

My son wanted to do a football party for his 14th birthday and I booked Powerleague in Romford at the end of June. The party from start to finish was superbly handled by coach Jay. He gave his all to make sure my son and his friends had a full 90 minutes of football including drills, games, and competitions. I was impressed with his attention to detail handing out the extras like smoothies, medals, the cake, football cards and always on hand to answer any questions. An absolutely brilliant host and coach.

We were new to this powerleague in Huddersfield. We had one game and will never return. Ref was giving bad blatant decisions obviously We disagreed and played on as you do. But the alcohol soaked ref started getting very abusive for no reason threatening our players etc eventually we had no choice but to leave. The other referee with no on pitch one even said to one of our players go home and beat your wife up like each night. Totally unprofessional I will be setting up an investigation into powerleague huddersfield.

Fantastic Support for a Teen-Organised Football Tournament

My teenage son recently organised his own football tournament for a group of friends, and the support he received was brilliant. A huge thank you to Zac, who offered encouragement and practical help throughout the planning — it really meant a lot to have someone backing a young person’s initiative.

Special thanks also to George, who was a brilliant referee on the day. He kept the matches fair and fun, and helped everything run smoothly from start to finish.

The experience was a real confidence boost and something the boys will remember for a long time. Highly recommend!
