Never answer the phone
Despite trying to call at various times throughout a working day 020 7247 4114 NEVER answer the phone - 45 minutes at number 1 in a queue. They took my installation money and never answered an email or phone call since. I cannot believe a modern company can survive with such appalling customer service

I think one star is generous - week 4 of no contact from pod point - not been able to use my charger since December: refusing to refund, the engineer can’t fix it and nobody bothers to call back

As a business requirement pod point have been a total disaster. Extremely poor customer service and a don't care attitude. Causing my dealership some many problems, how we the UK ever get to electric vehicle levels when pod point doesn't respond

Recently had a new pod point installed
Recently had a new pod point installed. Consistently loses connection to the wifi (the router is 4m away). Everytime I go to charge I need to reconnect it, and it sometimes won’t. I reconnected it the other day, set to charge at night, looked later and it had disconnected and started charging at peak rate. NOT A GOOD CHARGER, personally I would go somewhere else if I knew.

Very very bad. They don’t solve your problems. They leave you without charge and don’t care. Technical support never rings you back. People you talk to are awful and don’t care to help. I am now changing suppliers. They don’t deserve a one star!!

It was better app when you can add your own amount to charge vehicle at lidl supermarket until they combined with lidl app not many people uses because it holds £45 reserve and if you lucky you might get it back in 20 min but it could take longer maybe the next day....or even a week imagine if you have bills to pay how you suppose to charge vehicle... it was much better before when it was standalone app for pod point minimum was £5 charge then
This company is one of the worst I have…
This company is one of the worst I have tried to deal with. They do not respond to emails, and everything pushes you back to their ai online support and is not helpful. I contacted sales in the end to get a response, they are answering these phone lines! I had an apology and I sent information as they requested however since then absolutely nothing. I am now trying to contact the sales team again so I can actually talk to somebody but now been held in a long queue. It is an impossibility to get to talk to somebody who can action anything. Be very wary before you order from Pod Point their are other providers out there and I would suggest to anybody to use them.
6 months and 5 visits later and still not working
Pod point are impossible to get through to by phone and incredibly slow to respond to email plus do not follow up with actions they agree.
They use subcontractors who are illinformed by pod point and the subcontractors have expressed frustration at pod point too. They just don't do what they say they will. Are disorganised have sent wrong / unsuitable equipment / faulty equipment time after time.
We have had 5 visits over 6 months, we have to continually chase for action and still our 22KW charger at over £1800 does not charge above 4KW.
I'm at the point of taking external action to resolve as they are not compentent, possibly not resourced enough to deal with the demand, following historic good reviews.

My advice is spend your money elsewhere and ignore the historic good name.
Slow charges and poor service
Pod point are the provider for the electric charging points in my residential complex . For nearly a year they have been running at speeds of 1kw - 1.5kw , when contacting podpoint they say they have put the chargers on a lower speed setting and will look into it , but never send anyone to do maintenance on the chargers , but yet they still want to charge you for 1.5 kw speed! The other charges within a reasonable distance to my house are again podpoint charges and they have placed them in a car park which has parking restrictions, so again this is useless. I am a mother of a child with complex needs who has various hospital appointments plus work to attend each week , and am finding it near impossible to charge the car at home or close to home . This simply isn’t good enough
Failed after 3 years, their advice is "Buy a new one"
I had a tethered unit installed 3 years and 3 weeks ago, 16 months of which it wasn't used at all. It failed last week, no power at all, and Podpoints attitude is tough! Just buy a new one from us.
**UPDATE**
Pod point did eventually come out and fix the problem for free, but their so called techs failed to notice the problem despite being sent detailed photos, and video. The electrician pointed out that the issue should have been obvious to anyone trained to diagnose these things, and he had it repaired and tested in 10 minutes.

Shocking!!! Do not use this company….impossible to get hold of once they take your money.
They took payment then an additional payment as said it needed an extra man to support with the install as needed to connect electric via the loft. However since they took payment I can’t get hold of them via email or phone. Oddly was able to get email correspondence back before payment.

The worst company ever, most of their public chargers are out of order and their app doesn't show all the charging points. It's also impossible to talk to any of the support team on the phone. Avoid using them
My 7kW Podpoint charger failed in the…
My 7kW Podpoint charger failed in the fifth year. This is only 14 months after the 3-year warranty ended.
This is simply not good enough as I was only using the charger every 4-5 days.
Do not use this company! AVOID!
The multiple request for pictures and information to even set up an installation should have been my first indication to avoid this company. Pod Point seems to have a general reluctance to send an engineer to its customers.
Since installation (which eventually occurred and went smoothly on the day), I have put up with a faulty device which fails to consistently charge my car. This has cost me money, time and upset.
Pod Point customer service are NOT helpful as instead of replacing what they know to be a faulty device, they have insisted on a series of 'fixes' which never actually work.
I have requested that they remove their device and issue a refund so that I can move to a reputable company that would provide a working device and better customer service.
Suffice to say that I am furious at the hoops I've been made to jump through after paying so much money for a shoddy piece of equipment.
