My partner paid for her laptop to be repaired and they replaced the screen with the wrong screen. They then took it back and told us they needed to order the correct screen and it will be a few weeks. It had been months with no contact and the franchise in Newcastle where the laptop was has closed. The main branch have not replied to any messages and the laptop has not been returned.

Broke my phone screen on new years eve and these guys were able to fix it within an hour. Friendly and helpful, highly recommended!!

I went into Colchester pocketgeek tech repair shop in Eld Lane and asked for advice. Advice and help was given to me free of charge. The adviser was very polite and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company. Thank you

Big shout out to Kopin (Stoke store), who was friendly, professional, and really helpful. My Motorola Moto G50 had a speaker issue and it was repaired quickly and efficiently. This was my first time using Pocket Geek Tech Repair, and I’m genuinely impressed with the service.

If I ever need another smartphone repair, this will definitely be my go-to repair shop. Highly recommended!

My wife dropped her phone last night and cracked the screen window. By 12 o'clock today the screen was replaced at a very reasonable price.

On 05/11/25 I went to the shopin Norwich to buy a phone second hand for dissent price. The “agent” Geronimo in store offered me a phone Samsung Galaxy A50 for £140 including a screen protector.
I agreed, I have paid the full price by debit card. I bought a new phone case from another phone shop and I was expected to have a phone for use, but…
I went home and I realised the phone was faulty (no connection at all to any network). I went back to the shop to check is it possible to have my refund back, the agent admitted the phone was faulty and said he is agreed to refund me, but I have to wait 3- 5 days. I didn’t object and have left the new phone case as gift to the shop, because I cannot use it. On 16/10/25 I went back to the phone shop to remind I haven’t received my refund, the agent said to wait 5 – 7 days. I had enough, I call my bank to resolved the problem, next day I had my refund in my bank account.
I will let you to decide to go to the shop or not. Your choice!

Walked in and asked the man how much a screen protector and it’s a great price and good quality.

We decided to try this repair service after our nitendo switches wouldnt hold charge properly and one wouldn’t turn on at all.
We handed them in and the guy was very nice as we only wanted advice on what to do and if they knew what the cause could be. He booked us in and was told it be 3days for a new port on the one with screen working and booked the other switch in for a diagnostic as we didn’t know why it wouldn’t switch on.

After waiting two weeks, we were handed them back.

N-Switch 1, was not the charging port as they had tried two new ones but was apparent water damage to the mother board. The screen is now black and we can only hear the click sounds when touching the screen, despite when we handed it in the screen was able to work functionally. ( it’s why we knew it wouldn’t hold its charge and drained quickly when playing games). We spent the £59 on a charging port that wasn’t needed and been handed the switch back in worse condition.

N-switch2, after a diagnostic, they found the mother board was also damaged. We don’t know whether that’s due to water damage or just being died out over the years.

I would have rather fiddled round with the charging lead to the right spot it would charge in than using this service again if they give your devices back in worse condition.

I took my daughter’s phone to Alex in the Shepperton branch and he has been fantastic. He went above and beyond to try and resolve the issues and we’d highly recommend him. Thank you Alex, we are very grateful for all your help over the last few days.

I took my top of the range laptop here because it was overheating and shutting down. They charged an assessment fee and advised they'd let me know what is wrong and the repair cost.

I received my lap top back in a terrible state: opened at the side, held together with rubber bands and the screws cellotaped to the top. It was destroyed beyond repair, wouldn't even open! They handed it back without admitting they'd broken it. No apology, no customer care, no ownership! Just said: "It can't be fixed and you're welcome to have it assessed elsewhere". They denied they did this.
How did they think they could get away with it?

The behaviour of Regional Manageress was shocking. She was verbally abusive like I never experienced and no paying customer should have to endure. At no point did she offer assistance, a solution or a refund, not even the assessment fee.
Following my official complaint, she finally called while I was purchasing my new laptop screaming unacceptable abuse.

I forwarded my complaint to the partner company with well documented evidence, so that they had no choice but to settle with an amount that went towards my new laptop.

Update: It doesn't matter what Pocketgeek Surrey Quays write here below. Clearly I was not treated kindly or respectfully or they would not have had to settle and compensate me. They would have lost any legal action and are only causing themselves further reputational damage.

WARNING!!! : Non repair of a mobile phone taking over 1 1/2 months, 'untruths', delays, lack of communication, attempt to charge for a 'diagnostic' that didn't diagnose fault, schedule of works carried out never provided, unwillingness to provide a full refund, promises of refund being processed never materialising, lack of knowledge of consumer rights, no address or telephone number provided for Head Office to address formal complaint to, despite having 8 branches...refund only secured by sending a Special Delivery Letter headed "LETTER BEFORE CLAIM / LETTER BEFORE ACTION" to Shepperton Store. Do not be fooled by the shiny shop front...worse service that the man with a laptop in a market!

I am not a customer, I am person who works in this Pocket Geek tech repair. Here I worked for 6 months and the owner Mr Sunny treats his employee like his slave. He never wish to get inputs from people. Also he use unparliamentary words towards his employee.

I was trying to explain about a query from supplier. But he does not want to listen on that just shouting and messaging in what's up group using a filthy languages. Don't know how to handle this situation. So Just I quit and came back by giving some messages in the same what's up group.

I am in return material department where all the products does have quality all are procured from China and duplicates. Hence there are many returns in this last 6 months. Please be aware for both people who get job offer ther and people who purchase products from them. Thank you

I had my samsung flip phone inner screen replaced.
The booking process for the fix was smooth, within the day. On the day of the appointment I requested battery change (a last minute addition) which I was told was possible but may require me to come back as the battery might not be available. I said ok and asked how long the screen fix would be which I was told would be few hours. I waited around and was called two hours later, the battery would be available the next day and the screen fix hadn't been done. I was upset as if it had been clear from the beginning I would have left.

I was then called the next day and told it would be an additional 2-3 days before the battery would be ready. I pushed to double check this information which turned out to be incorrect. The fix was done and I was told my phone was ready. I collected the phone and shortly realised the front screen (which was previously fine) was now not working and my phone was given to me with 10% battery. I went back and was told I would have to return tomorrow as they didn't have enough time to fix it and also they needed to order a new front screen.

It was frustrating that a basic check that all screens were working was not done and poor service to give a phone with low battery. All in all I had to go there 3 days in a row before my phone was satisfactorily fixed.

I took my phone into be repaired at the branch in Thatcham. It was done quickly and efficiently.

I've been a customer for a while but this was my first visit to a relatively new branch near the Elizabeth Line station at Farringdon. The shop is a bright, clean space and the team there is intelligent, patient and welcoming. It's rare to get such excellent service anywhere these days. I especially appreciated the way Alicia and her colleagues took time to explain and research exactly what I needed. I remain a happy customer and never hesitate to recommend them to family and friends. Well done, and thank you again.

This afternoon I went to the store at Surrey Quays. I went in simply to get a quote for selling my used device, but the bald man behind the counter treated me with open disrespect. Without reason, he even implied that I might have stolen an iPad using a very ignorant language. When I provided the exact model details, he dismissed me by saying there were “too many sizes to check,” despite the fact that I have told him exactly the size I have and getting a quote was only a click away for him. It was clear he had no intention of offering at least the basic respect let alone proper service, and only wanted me out of the store.

I feel deeply insulted. As a person, a human being, I have been always respected to whoever around me, listen to their needs and at least what they say, while I have received at this store shows no reciprocity but only quite an opposite response.

Took my phone in for an insurance repair into the Glasgow store. Whereas they replaced the screen they've left it in a condition which was still faulty and further uses caused further damage. They've accepted no responsibility or responded to a data subject access request.

Avoid the location if you can

I went into the store with some embarrassingly small laptop problems which had been annoying me for some time. Jordan sorted everything really quickly and professionally with no judgement - thank you!

Excellent and speedy service at Halifax Pocket Geek. Had a screen protector fitted and it was prepared by an automated cutting device and expertly fitted.
I also bought a phone case which fitted perfectly.
