Second to none on price and Customer Service
After being let down by a bathroom company, with some trepidation I thought I would try Plumbing World. The company should be renamed 'Different World'. I was plunged into a world of 'nothing is too much trouble', 'I will make sure you get exactly what you want'. Maxine and her colleagues provided all of the advice I needed to make a fairly complex project easy.
As a 77 year old with severe hip problems, I was force in to putting in an easy access shower as I can't step up anymore.
Thank heavens Plumbing World were there.
What a wonderful company, what amazing customer service, and what pride in doing an excellent job.
If I talk to any friends about a plumbing project I will direct them to Maxine at Plumbing World straight away.

Shower replacement.
Knowing what we wanted as a replacement offset Quadrant shower, searched the Web and found Plumbing World.. Glad I did!!
The sales person I contacted was Rob Cox whose customer service attitude and communication was excellent. Delivery day..their delivery driver, Ian, who was very pleasant and extremely helpful.
Everything unwrapped and checked... Perfect!
Just one hiccup, wrong shower waste sent. However, within 24hrs the correct one arrived.
Fantastic service from start to finish.
Fully recommend Plumbing World!! Thank you.

Useless boiling water tap
I bought a boiling water tap through Amazon which was clearly defective and not up to the job. My husband is a builder and I had various tradesmen inspect it to confirm that I was not just being difficult and they all said it was useless. This is my second boiling water tap so I have a comparison. However after lengthy correspondence and photos, Plumbing World refused to accept there was an issue despite a small part also falling off and random gushes of water when no-one is near. Having paid £100 to have it fitted, I am stuck with it now using a kettle.

I opted for same-day collection since I was going to be in the area, but despite the item being in stock, it turns out they can take up to 7 days to confirm collection availability. I've requested them to deliver the shower tray and waste instead, but haven't received any response. Thankfully, I paid via PayPal, and if they don’t get back to me soon, I'll be requesting a full refund.

First of all, I would just like to apologise that you were unable to collect at the desired time on this occasion.
I can see your order was placed on a Saturday morning.
We have recently changed our internet sales operating hours, and as a result of this our office is now only open Monday to Friday. With this in mind the earliest we could contact you regarding the collection was once we reopened on the Monday morning.
This is actually the first instance of this happening, however we appreciate it has highlighted a gap in our service.
At the moment we can only facilitate internet collections on a Saturday morning, if this has been arranged in advance during our regular opening hours.
Our collection offering will be reviewed in the coming days to identify how we can improve on this service moving forward.

Fast efficient service
Fast efficient service, answered my queries quickly and made good recommendations. Great delivery driver who was very pleasant and helpful. Perfect shower enclosure, tray etc. instructions could have been better for diy, but this is really the manufacturers issue. Will certainly use plumbing world again.

Very good price
Very good price. Arrived within a week of ordering. Good communication around the delivery date, we didn't have any tracking information. Delivery chap friendly and helped us to unload the panels.

Part was supposed to be in stock
Part was supposed to be in stock for immediate delivery but was apparently damaged so a new one was ordered from the supplier. Then I was told it would be a couple of days extra, but that didn't happen and it ended up taking 10 days in total to get the part.

It was unfortunate that upon picking your order for dispatch, our warehouse team found the item was not in the expected condition, and so we were unable to supply the one held in stock.
With this in mind we immediately placed a new order with our suppliers, though admittedly the dates we were given were pushed back on a couple of occasions. I can see that this was dispatched on a next day delivery service as soon as we were physically able to do so.
I am very sorry that you experienced this delay, we hope you would still consider returning in the future.

Ordered bath and toilet unit from Plumbing World, great communication of order and when it was getting delivered, when toilet unit came it was faulty, phoned plumbing world which Lee answered, and sorted it out for me ( and emailed me with updates about unit )
Will definitely use plumbing world again

Part not held in stock - Supplier delay issue
Ordered toilet syphon. The part was not held by Plumb World. After over a month, with several reminders/exchanges I was advised their supplier did not have item in stock. A 5-7 day delivery didn’t happen. Ordered from Amazon…. Hopefully the refund doesn’t take a month.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I am sorry to hear there was a stock issue with the product you ordered, and consequently we were unable to fulfill your order on this occasion.
Whilst we do stock an extensive range of products, we also rely on a number of suppliers for items that are not held in our warehouse. Unfortunately on these occasions we can only pass on the information we receive regarding lead time. I can see that when they did attempt to deliver to ourselves it was actually the incorrect item and so it was swiftly rejected by our warehouse team. We completely understood at this point you were no longer able to wait, and so a full refund was processed the same day as this was requested.
Once again we are very sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Shower flipper
When I received my order I unpacked and tried to fit it to the 10mm screen, unfortunately upon further inspection I found that there were 4 grub screws missing, after numerous emails back and forth I was informed that they were not necessary, so why did the fitting have 4 thredded holes, and why was I supplied with a 2mm allen key when the screws top and bottom were a Philips/ posidrive screw not as stated hex key fitting, hence I am unable to fit said shower flipper until I can scorce some proper grub screws, so not impressed.

Great prices & customer service
Just bought some taps from Plumbing World. Their prices were very competitive and their customer service was also very good. The only reason that I'm not giving them five stars is that it was a bit of a convoluted process - stock turned out to be unavailable when the website said it was in stock; details of when it would be back in stock varied from call to call; and so on.
As I said though, this shouldn't detract from the superb and friendly customer service and very good prices. I'd use them again.

Firstly, I apologise for the item not being readily available at your point of order. Sadly our website is not fully stock controlled due to certain items being kept with our suppliers and not having the facilities of accurate stock levels. In this instance, our website will advise the likeliness of a products availability such as "usually good" or "low".
Unfortunately, the items were on back order with our supplier so sadly we are unable to guarantee any dates they provide. We can appreciate the awkward position this may put customers in but we never want to give inaccurate information.

Top-fix is definitely a top fix
The shower trap arrived when they said it would. You definitely don't need to take up the shower tray as it fits into a 900mm hole. I plumbed it in myself, which is a good job as I couldn't get a plumber to be interested in the job. So far, so good!

No communication waisted day waiting for delivery
Very little communication from the delivery service that was supposed to deliver today by 5:00pm. Lost a whole day of work waiting. Still no delivery and no word what tomorrow entails.

I am sorry to hear you have not had a positive delivery experience for your order. Having looked into this, I can see your order was delivered via pallet courier. The courier provide facilities to be able to track your delivery and I can see this was sent over to you. However, I am extremely disappointed to see that delivery was not attempted on the day we had planned this in for.
Sadly, the emails received from you advising that delivery had not been made were during our closing hours, so your emails were not picked up until the following morning. After my colleague had spoken with the courier, they had advised that the driver ran out of hours for delivery. We do of course take the responsibility as the company that you purchased with and can only apologise for the delay and the inconvenience of having to wait in. I completely understand your feelings of frustration with this.
After looking on the couriers portal, I can see that the order has now been delivered and I hope you are satisfied with the products received. We aim to exceed expectations and understand that we have let ourselves down. I can only hope you do choose to shop with us again in the future, so we can provide the higher level of service we always aim for.
