We used Maria at Planning Voice to help us object to 10 Room HMO planned for next door.

My neighbours and I had a major privacy issue with a new leisure centre build. With the build in progress and the company declining to discuss the issue we turned to Planning Voice for guidance. My initial call was on a Friday afternoon and that evening Maria contacted me with a time critical objection and offered to prepare it for submission that weekend.

Maria reviewed and drafted an objection to a planning application on a neighbouring property for an extension including a balcony which would overlook my property and greatly affect my privacy. The objection letter was very well drafted with detailed objections and quoted the local authority's own guidelines. As a result the applicant, at the request of the council, amended the plans to remove reference to the balcony and the final planning approval was granted in 2026 without the balcony.

Maria prepared the grounds for objecting to a planning application. Amazingly it arrived within three days. The letter was several pages long of detailed, academic & thoughtful reasoning for opposing the application. It was 'on point', impressive and touched all the pertinent points from my brief email. The LPA accepted her comments and advised the applicant to withdrawI the application. I was was exceedingly grateful for her help in this matter and would recommend and use the service again if needed.

I contacted Rachel at Planning voice for advice in writing an objection letter to a proposal for a large development near our home. The letter she put together based on my much less concise views and information was absolutely spot on and turned around within the week. The local housing action group was very impressed. I cannot recommend this company enough; pouring through planning policy to try to voice real objections to a difficult planning application was a real headache. Really happy with Planning Voice. I gave them details of the planning application and some details of the reasons why I wanted to object. It was also important to get the objection in ASAP as the council hadn't given us much time. PV supplied a very good draft document within the required timescale and even corrected some errors and added some additional arguments before I submitted it. Very happy with the result and cost. This letter and other objections resulted in the application being withdrawn fairly quickly; I'm sure a modified application will be submitted and, if necessary, I wouldn't hesitate to use PV again.
