I am a reliable person who has a friendly manner and gets on well with people from all walks of life. A clear communicator who can easily follow instructions and I have a positive attitude towards training always eager to add to my skills set. I was looking for a job and it led me through to apply for one and just a snap of a finger it went through smoothly

The system is so easy to fill in for job placement the fact that I got a mail encouraging me to fill in my job experience to avail me much opportunity that encouraged me

Super easy to sign up and apply for jobs. Great that they can message you directly on the platform.

Hundreds of pounds spent with no return. For a platform that claims to be for our industry (hospitality) it is a shame companies like this exist. Taking money from businesses where every penny counts especially with smaller budgets. Making very attractive claims about what I can expect and how they are “better” and “different” when truth be told they are worse than Caterer and Indeed.

I signed up as job seeker to see how my job looked and how the app works. Not saying you should reinvent the wheel but the colour scheme does not work. Information is hard to read and find. The quizzes provided quite a giggle for me and the rest of my team. I fail to see how answering basic questions about a Raman dish up-skills anything. It feels like Placed are reaching across all fronts. All bark with no bite. I tried it, it failed and will never use this again.

Extremely infuriating app. Nothing makes sense, lack of applications.

Me and colleague wasting unholy amounts of time with people who have zero interest in replying to messages to the point I question whether they are real profiles.

All seemed promising in the sales presentation, was promised big numbers so far 0 good applications, 0 hires and 0 value for money. Now struggling to fill roles with budget being completing pour the drain in this proxy website. Our team were promised an innovative technology to help us. It’s actually set us back both financially and in the time waste trying us this very very budget feeling website. Nothing works. Please advise any managers or others of putting money

We've been using Placed at our brasserie for a while now. Their product is really different to the job boards we used to use. Since the pandemic the job boards don't seem nearly as good as before, so we were really struggling. Placed came along with a totally different approach, and we've been impressed so far.

Keep an eye on these guys, they have a bright future!

Dare I use the word cowboys. I question the very ethics of such business.

Through the sales process I was shown stats that were paraded around as the answer to the staffing crisis in the industry. The use of buzz words like “AI driven/powered” which could not be further from the truth. Like many sceptical SAAS business they use this term without it being the reality. Judging by the so called matching algorithm again not smart or intuitive about it. Matching any candidate to any job you post is not “smart matching”. The stats such as number of candidates on the platform etc. was nothing short of a lie. Focusing the whole sales process on how you acquire candidates differently to the likes of Reed and Indeed. Again something that was not explained during the sales process. Placed simply use the money I paid for my subscription, to post targeted social media ads on Facebook and Instagram to then drive app registrations not even applications to my jobs. There is nothing unique about this and seemingly if the other very few remaining customers knew this would do this directly themselves. Ultimately Indeed, Reed, Caterer and other traditional methods have stood the test of time as they deliver results. Placed has not been even 1% successful or close to the success stats I was shown.

Saying things like quizzes are a great way to engage candidates, not at all. It’s hardly groundbreaking stuff. Under 10 questions about the most basic of material where the candidate simply gets told to “read more before applying” it’s very early education and if I was candidate would feel patronised by the sheer nature of such “quizzes”. I could not recommend avoiding Placed enough. Don’t trust the stats they show. A simply way to ask is ask them to provide 8-10 referencable customers that you can contact directly and I am sure this question to Placed alone will tell you all you need to know.

Classic case of grossly exaggerated numbers internally, over selling/promising and under delivering. The functionality and performance and success simply does not come anything remotely close to what we were sold. Disgraceful!

Indeed is both cheaper and much more reliable. I am now having to spend more money to compensate the money wasted with this clunky late 90s working application.
