Would never order from this company!
If I could give this company no stars, I would. I’ve had problems from the beginning, which started with actually receiving the items I ordered and paid for.
Also getting a response from the company is ridiculously hard work, leading to me having to send countless emails for the agents to then fall short of their promises.
I was so unhappy with the item I received that I returned it and to this day I’m still waiting for a response about my refund. To give a time scale I placed the order on the 02/06/25.

Poor customer service and low quality filters
Have ordered a 8 litre Phoenix Gravity water filter togheter with a smart carbon and fluoride filter system and a vision tap .
The fluoride filters I have received were open and you clearly see that they weren’t new.
The vision tap was also not indicating the correct water level .
Have sent several email to the customer support team with pictures clearly showing the products issues.
I was then receiving feedback from the customer support team that they acknowledged the issue and will send me a replacement for the components.
Later they will call me to ask for detailed explanations on the issues I found.
Have lost a lot of time via emails and phone calls just to still not have the vision tape replaced and just to have the fluoride filters replaced by another set of filters which where even in a worse condition than the original ones they sent.
I would highlight a big concern on the quality of the parts .

AVOID - leaking and adding particles to the water
Purchased the Phoenix travel system as sounded superior to Berkey and Newton and really wish I hadn’t. The filter leaked no matter how much I loosened or tightened the nut. The cartridge was depositing particles into the filtered water even after being primed and flushed 4 times. The filter was disintegrating in my hand when being handled. I contacted customer services with these concerns and they agreed it was faulty and offered to send a new filter candle. I declined due the multiple problems and the fact i had already been away where I had planned to use the travel filter. I returned on the agreement that if the filter were found to be faulty on inspection they would cover return postage as is my consumer right. I have only received a partial refund minus £6.80 for return postage even though the filter was faulty and agreed faulty by Phoenix from the multiple videos and photos sent. Only one fault was addressed on the return inspection which was the leak. The filter was only leaking when the upper cartridge was full so a quick test with a little water wouldn’t have shown the problem. The customer service has been appalling, being passed between different people, past things discussed being forgotten. I have wasted so much time back and forth, trying different things to fix the issues, providing evidence. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Phoenix gravity filter captured my attention because it doesn’t have any plastic parts/ fittings. And it looks really great in the kitchen.
I’ve got the 6 litres w Teak stand.
The company aldo offers brilliant customer service , responsive and courteous experience as there was a missing filter in my parcel and they responded immediately and sent me what I was missing in the post. All arrived and working perfectly
We had the filter for a week now.
Water tastes good and I’m feeling good.
I’m really sensitive to heavy metals so if the water is not purified properly I get strong headaches ( had it in the past )
So hopefully this means that the filter it’s doing its job. Empirical assumption!
Indeed I would have to give it a little more time to make sure that this is true as I’m not running an actual lab test , just speaking from personal experience.
If it continues to be good for me I will definitely recommend this system to many friends and family!

The item came in a dirty box and some…
The item came in a dirty box and some of the connectors were also dirty. I complained and they said was done in the post! How does an inner box get dirty! It put me off so asked to return it. Just kept saying you have a 100 days to try it and completely ignored the return.
I cleaned the unit and thought I would try it. You can’t actually see how much water is in the bottom canister so if that’s full and you put more water in the top that’s empty it starts to leak from the middle join. So you would have to keep lifting the top to see how much water is on it. I wouldn’t recommend it!

We completely understand how receiving a product in less-than-perfect condition can be disappointing, and we sincerely apologize if the packaging or connectors appeared dirty upon arrival. While some marks can occur during transit, we agree that the inner box should have arrived clean, and we regret that this was not your experience.
Regarding the leakage issue, you're absolutely right that overfilling the top chamber when the bottom chamber is already full can cause water to leak from the middle seam. To avoid this, it's important to refill only when the lower canister is empty.
We also wanted to mention that we now offer a Vision Tap upgrade, it includes a built-in water level indicator, so you can easily see how much filtered water remains in the lower chamber without needing to lift the top. It’s been added specifically to address concerns like yours and make usage more convenient.
If there’s anything further we can do to turn this around for you or assist with a return, we’d be more than happy to help. Please don’t hesitate to reach out directly.

Best purchase I have ever made !
The Phoenix Water Filter is undoubtedly one of the best things I’ve ever purchased.
We were using a filter jug before but it became expensive changing the filters so frequently, the water didn’t taste nice because it was being stripped of all the good minerals and it was a plastic jug so I’ve wanted to change for ages and ages.
After a lot of research I decided on the Phoenix and it’s INCREDIBLE.
The water tastes amazing, it’s so smooth too and my whole family have remarked how they can tell the difference and everyone is drinking more water as a result.
I also got the vision tap which allows me to see the water level so I don’t overfill it and don’t run out - a great add on
Customer service have been fantastic too when I’ve needed it to ask beginner questions.
Would highly recommend to literally everybody 🤩
