From the consultation all the way through to post op, everyone has been so helpful and professional. Ms Jennifer Darrien perfomed my surgery, I cant recommend her enough. At the initial consultation I felt her warmth and genuine concern in ensuring I made the right decision. Barbara at Phoenix has also been great, providing support and advice along the way. I would definitely recommend.

What a company! From start to finish this is my second time having an op under Phoenix Health, 2 different hospitals and 2 different surgeons (Dr Javid and Ms Darrien) both amazing I must say! The care throughout the whole process is second to none! I felt relaxed and informed and knew exactly what was happening and this was all at my pace! The staff at both the Alex and the Pines again are unbelievable could not fault!! 10/10! ⭐️

Amazing care , from pre-op and all the way through . Even with a few complications , I feel like my welfare comes first and I’m not on a conveyor belt process . I cannot thank the team enough, from the Phoenix team to the Pines medical team , all have gone above and beyond , thank you !!

I had gastric sleeve surgery at The Pines Hospital by Mr Almerie. I cannot fault the care and attention given by the surgeon. His whole team and all members of staff. I received outstanding care for which I am very grateful.

I recently had my surgery at The Pines, from admission through to discharge the staff where very friendly and efficient, nothing was too much bother for them. They made sure I was comfortable and gave plenty of pain relief. The whole process was very well organised and I was informed fully about all procedures. The surgeon came and spoke to me before, after and before discharge would highly recommend

Everyone at Phoenix is so informative and supportive. The care given is second to none.
The hospital itself is fab, the rooms are lovely and excellent bathrooms.
I was very nervous and shed a few tears on the morning of surgery, the nurses were brilliant. Mr Javed reassured me and the anaesthetist was so funny… even managed to make me smile.
Op was smooth and I was back in my room 90 mins later. It’s great as they let my husband stay all day.
Won’t lie, the wind pain was horrendous- I had a dreadful first night. Lots of walking and peppermint tea did help. I’m day 2 and whilst still uncomfortable, a hundred times better.
I was discharged this morning after visits from the fellow surgeon and dietitian from Phoenix. They also provide information and medication so I feel ready for the next stage.
As someone who is very anxious I would have no hesitation in recommending Phoenix. From the first meeting Melony, the calls with Emma and the actual surgery and post surgery I can fault no one. They are warm, caring and skilled at what they do.
Now looking forward to the next part of my life with excitement.

I chose Pheonix Health for my gastric bypass and what a decision that has turned out to be, from the first face to face meeting with Melony, pre op calls with Emma i felt at ease straight away in making the biggest decision of my life so far.

I was then put forward for surgery in ‘The Pines’ under Dr Jennifer Darrien, who is thorough in her approach and filled me with so much confidence in her ability. Then the aneathatist Dr Donnoly who was brilliant and had me laughing prior to the surgery, ultimately meaning i was put to sleep whilst laughing with the whole surgical team around me ready to be put to task.

Post surgery i dont remember much from the first day but the staff were unbelievable, they are all blessed with the patience of a saint. Not once did i feel like a question was too much for them. Debbie from the night staff was absolutely wonderful and also shared my humor.

In all it was a fantastic process with the upmost care received, any further surgery i decide to have will 100% be undertaken by Pheonix Health. I cannot thank them enough. I had my surgery on the 10th of Sept and i am writing this review 2 days later sat at home feeling on top of the world albeit with a little bit of post op pain!

I have had such a positive experience with Phoenix health. Every member of staff I have interacted with has been professional and friendly and very well informed. I was really nervous about my surgery but it went really well and my surgeon Miss Darrien is so impressive- she is knowledgeable, skilled and made me feel really at ease.

I had my surgery at The pines in Manchester and it felt like a luxury experience right from the front door. The room was beautiful, the bed comfortable, free TV and the post op food was delicious and beautifully presented.

The ward was well staffed and all the nurses and health care assistants I met were friendly and professional and I felt so well looked after.

The after care they have arranged looks really good and I feel 100% positive about the whole experience. I cannot recommend this company highly enough

I had my VSG Yesterday here at Transform, The Pines Manchester. I have had the best experience from start to finish, from my first meeting at the frodsham clinic m, where I was met by melanie, who seen how anxious I was and instantly made me feel comfortable and safe. Jennifer Darrien is nothing short of a GOD she is perfection ! Everything is made very clear what is going to happen and explained step by step along the way. I cannot praise her more highly, she ouses care and compassion and empathyalso, I would highly recommend miss Darrien to anyone considering surgery. All of the staff at Frodsham clinic and here on the ward are second to none, they go away abiv3 and beyond for you and nothing is a problem for them. Cannot fault Phoenix from first face-to-face in Frodsham to my discharge following mini bypass surgery at The Alexandra this week. Felt in safe hands throughout thanks to the reassuring professionalism and approachability of all the staff I have encountered.
I look forward to their continued support over the next few months.
Special thanks of course to Mr Javed and his team for performing my life-changing surgery which I am delighted to say has so far resulted in negligible pain or discomfort.

Just had a procedure done by mr almery, such a nice man makes you feel so much at ease with everything.

I have just got home after surgery. Everyone was so nice and I was very well looked after by the staff on ward 1. They really do take very good care of you and all the medical team were brilliant. Nothing was ever a problem the staff took time to explain things to Me and I was kept informed of the procedures along the way. I would highly recommend Phoenix health to anyone who needed surgery and they would be my first choice if ever I needed anything doing in the future.

Phoenix health have been amazing from the moment I had first contact with them. They did my gastric by-pass 12 months ago. Their before, during and after care has been phenomenal. I have had reflux issues and they have been in the ball with exporing the issue, removing my gallbladder and continuing to monitor me. A* care, treatment and communication. All professionals I have had contact with, have been amazing.

I have had a great experience from the start, from the telephone consultations to the face to face. The staff have all been amazing, nothing has been too much trouble at all. The Pines is a lovely clean facility, state of the art. Mr Qutayba Almerie explained the whole process from start to finish, he is amazing. Thank you all for everything that you have done for me.

The team were amazing, very thorough kind and honest.
