Wonderful customer service, would highly recommend!

Warm and welcoming customer service over the phone. The worker was on time and informed me he was on the way which I appreciated. Very polite friendly service throughout. Will be recommending for sure!

I had an excellent experience with PH247! They quickly resolved the overflow issue with our water storage tank in the loft. Nathan provided outstanding service, making the process hassle-free for us. Was having issues finding plumbing services and a google search led me to PH247. The whole experience was so quick and seamless from the intial call to fulfilling the job. Had my boiler up and running within hours of initiating contact. Friendly and professional service at competitive prices. Highly Recommend!

BEWARE! After paying £120 plus VAT for a plumber to quote for a replacement thermostatic bar the company quoted me over £900. I declined (agent was rude when I declined) the quote. Then the plumber returned to my property and explained the company had asked him to discuss the quote and we could pay in cash. Plumber stepped into my property without permission. I refused to move out of his way (I'm a woman) and said I did not want to discuss the quote. What kind of company is this quoting on one hand and then offering cash I hand.

Two Main issues.

1) Website is deceptive.

Their website makes you believe that the 'deposit' you pay to get a quote is refundable. It is not. Buried in their T's & C's is fine print that is convoluted and uses a lot of terminology, jargon and references to other sections. It apparenty basically says, once they give you a quote, you cannot get a refund. So you are trapped into either hiring them or losing £114.

2) Extortionate pricing.

We had a leak with a bathroom sink. We were quoted £650 total for a repair job. My brother in law is a plumber in Spain and we showed it to him and he pointed out that it was just the valve that needed replacing - a £30 part - and that the job would take 1 hour. We also got a further 2 quotes that said similar.

Fortunately for us, my brother in law is due over in a week and will fix it, but the reality is that it would have been cheaper to just fly him over from Spain in the first place to do the repair, rather than engage with this company.

Obviously, they are now refusing to refund the 'deposit'.

I literally look after vulnerable people for a living and so will keep pushing this forward with the ombudsman, but be warned!

What is most upsetting is that there are companies out there like this one who are taking advantage of people in a cost of living crisis.

I had a new tap (same make) to replace the old one by a Plumber in Jan 24. A month later the tap worked itself loose, leaking water all over the cupboard and floor. I spoke to the manufacturer and they indicated that issue was due to poor installation. I believe that the screws were not secured properly.

I expect a Company to provide a guarantee for their work, especially one using the TrustATrader website. Not charge a call out fee to fix a problem due to poor workmanship. A “comprehensive report” was done by the second plumber. It talks about limescale. The report is a whitewash. This Company contracts plumbers who do NOT take responsibility for their work. The guy answering the calls is utterly dismissive, rude and treats customers with utter contempt. He told me from his office desk that the tap was installed to the specifications even though he was never there. He then asked me if I was a Plumber. Childish behaviour. Avoid.

Fantastic service as always. Called for an emergency service... they came sorted it. Highly recommended!!!!!

After calling and explaining what I would like doing, I was given a appointment time and date to attend.
I already had the tap I needed for the conversion upgrade.
I'm terrible with people as I'm unsociable.
The engineer arrived on the Saturday afternoon and within one hour I had a conversion tap installed and fully operational.
The job was done with precision and that is sure needed to have a very good review.

Really enjoyed the service from PH247. Came out and fixed my parents heating rapidly. Lee in the office was very clear on the phone and the engineers who turned up were very kind, patient and listened to all my questions. Definitely recommend.

Called up to get a gas pipe behind cooker adjusted. Wanted to get it done straight away. Guy came out, looked took a photo, then left saying it would be another 48 hours before I can book to get it fixed. Phoned up. You have to wait 48 hours to get a 'report'... that's what you've paid for. BEWARE... read the small print in the doc you sign. I called 24 hours later to see if I could get things rolling. Nope. Will need to be rebooked for another fee. Man I spoke to was 'Computer Says No.' 'All this would have been explained to you when you booked.' Nope.

I contacted them because there is a leak in my bathroom sink... it would cost me £114 to get an estimate, yes, you read me right !! and they sent me information saying I should have the material to repair the link in the correct size otherwise there is nothing they could do !! If I could repair it myself, do you really think I would need a plumber.... Don't use them, it sounds like a scam !"

Careful! Ridiculous rip off!
It was really easy to book an appointment, I needed a tap to be replaced and I just had to pre-pay a £114 deposit. They turned up, said they couldn’t fix it or replace it now but would send me a quote for the actual replacing the next day and would deduct the call out fee. the quote came and it was over £400 in total.
Note that I had quotes from other companies for less than £200 for the same service.
So they basically just catch you by making it easy to book and charging a callout fee without giving any further details, then they don’t do anything when they come and send you an insanely high quote which many people probably accept because they’ve already invested £114 without getting anything for it.

LJ was knowledgeable and provided a great service.

He was a very sociable and it was nice dealing with.

I had great service today from engineer 102.
The heating was fixed, a pump replaced in a timely and tidy manner considering access to the pump not easy to reach under the stairs.
I am a new customer, so I will update if further call outs are as efficient and effective as this fist time.
