Great service and system, customer service responsive. Product is a huge boon for my family, and allows us to monitor our fiscal health in real-time. Only thing to work on I can think of is to figure out the multi-factor securities for some accounts (CapitalOne). Big fan!

There are two components to Personal Capital, the on-line tool to consolidate your personal accounts to give you an overall perspective on net worth, expenditures, investment portfolio and retirement analysis, portfolio and budget tracker which is free and the portfolio management. service which is a paid service. The on-line tool is excellent for free and thus my 4 star rating. I have not used the portfolio management service though I have investigated it and it has a sound philosophy behind it. I am a retired investment professional and held a financial planning certificate so am not in need of that service, at least at this time. I am keeping that option open for down the road consideration.

I feel like everyone should be using this app. More people should be tracking their net worth.

Personal Capital provides a great way to keep track of all of your finances in one place. I use it as a tool to view my total savings, investment, and spending, all with useful graphs to help me visualize the information. I don’t really use the spending categorization that much, as I feel Mint does a better job of spending tracking, but as a total portfolio visualization this app does a great job. So far I haven’t had any issues linking assets from a number of sources, including ETrade, Fidelity, Vanguard, and Chase. Highly recommend this app for getting an overview of your total financial picture.

Love Personal Capital for all of my personal finance tracking needs. Better than any other software I've used- highly recommend!

The best personal finance app I have on my phone + web browser. Easy to use and clean interface. Gives you the 30k foot view of your finances while also tracking your day-to-day progress. Highly recommend.

I love Personal Capital and recommend it to friends to begin their financial journeys. The net worth graph is an easy way to view the impact of debt and grow assets. I also love the monthly emails that give me an idea of how I'm budgeting. Overall - highly recommend this app to have in your financial tool kit to run mini personal finance reports to get a "temperature check" on how you're doing :)

Makes it easy to see (almost) all your accounts and balances at once. Hopefully they will link to / support Coinbase soon. It’s easy to use and has lots of tools built in.

Easy to use, a bit less versatile than I would prefer but checks the boxes with reliable aggregation which is more than can be said for Mint.

I've been using this platform for years and love it! The best thing about it is that I'm able to track all of my financial accounts on here and understand where I am in terms of net worth. I have my doctorate which comes with a high burden in student loans and I set a goal to have a net worth above zero within the next year or so. Using personal capital makes it easy my progress towards that goal.

The overall look/feel of how Personal Capital tracks and manages your finances, in particular your investments, is second to none. It's quick to retrieve data from your accounts, and seems to generally work pretty good. However, if you run into an issue with an account loading data, or anything really, your on your own. Probably the worst customer service on the face of the earth. I've never gotten a resolution for any issues I've had with the software, and some of it is very basic stuff. I have an account that I can't even delete on my own, and can't get a response from CS after 2 months of requests/complaints. Also, don't plan on using this as a budgeting software. Mint is lightyear's better for that.

I love that personal capital can aggregate all my different checking accounts, savings accounts, loans, and investments into one place and give me an at a glance snapshot of my net worth. I checked the app at least once a day and find it very useful.

Great app for managing personal finances, investments and retirement. I have 10+ accounts hooked up to PC and use it almost everyday to stay on top of things. I used Mint in the past however it has fallen behind PC and became an annoying advertising platform. I did try out PCs investment management service however it has a high % mgmt fee vs ROBOs like betterment and wealthfront for about the same performance. I also tried PCs cash service which started out with a high interest rate. The high rate unfortunately did not hold and i had to move my savings into Marcus by GS. If PC can bring to market a high interest checking/savings account along with Betterment style investment management it would be the perfect service. I am also looking for a company to do so with a social/sustainable ESG-like strategy so i can vote with my dollars. Come on PC, you can do it!

I have tried the free portion of personal capital for 4 months now. I have problems with the download of three accounts, one is Raymond James. Not a small company. Downloads did not work well when I was in Mexico for a few accounts. The Raymond James downloaded maybe twice after being in Mexico. It missed a transaction of dividend payed. There is no way to add the transaction to the account. Which means my income for the year is not correct. Also I have some investments that are real estate loans that pay me interest. I have to manually enter those. Which is not a problem, but when I get interest from that loan, I can not enter the data like a quicken check account that increases the amount in the account. I just can change what is dollar amount in that account. No record of interest transaction. I have liked this set up. But with the errors that has happened. And waiting three months for them to correct the download problems. I am now looking for a better financial analysis. I am retired and using this to watch my investments not to plan for retirement.

The capacity for year end review, the budgeting, the easy to use interface, I could go on and on about all the features I love utilizing Person Capital. The bottom line here is JUST TRY IT OUT! I tried it out and immediately fell in love with it. It speaks for itself how easy it is to manage all my lines of credit and investment accounts all in one place.
