I can't connect my accounts. I've been going back and forth with support for a month.

Amazing software. I love how personal capital aggregates all my data. It's truly the swiss knife of personal finance. I an can see an all-encompassing picture of my finances in one place. The user interface is very well designed, with easy-to-understand and visually appealing data. It's really convenient how it's linked to all my accounts and I can have a quick picture of my finances and drill down into the data. Love personal capital and highly recommend it to anyone!

My accounts won't connect. I've filed tickets and have had no help. I've called, emailed, chatted... no person has been able to help.

I wish I could love it like everyone else.
My accounts keep being disconnected and I have to reverify almost daily which is quiet taxing.
One of my bank accounts refused to connect which is a glitch from personal capital.

Reached out but its been over 3months and no one has gotten back to me. I kept asking them if they are solving it as there was no communication from their side.

Food concept I just wish it would work for me.

I've used PC for a while now, and I really like all the features and how generally easy it is to navigate around the site. Both the desktop and phone apps work great and are intuitive to use. The only downside is account integration sometimes doesn't work (especially with Robinhood). I don't know if it's an issue with PC or with the other accounts, but it makes it hard to really want to use PC when I can't sync all my accounts. Other than that, I really like everything about PC.

Been using Personal Capital for a few years now. I love it!

The best all around personal financial tool in managing all accounts, all transactions, and investment analysis. Would love the ability to have more expense categories or for the tool to recall what a transaction was for the previous month and appropriately label it the next time it occurs.

I love this app because i get to see my overall net worth and i dont have to deal with putting all my savings and expenses on a spreadsheet. The only minor thing that I wish will improve is one of my bank accounts and brokerage accounts keeps signing off and i kept fixing my log in of my bank accounts so I can see my up to date net worth. I sometimes dont remember my password when it asks me to sign back in since I’ve already log in the first time when i register my account. Is it really necessary to enter my credentials again when it kicks me out? I didnt sign off my account. I dont know why one of the account signs off randomly. But thats the only minor thing that wish it improves is to keep my accounts signed in. I constantly keep fixing my account because t doesnt count my overall new balance when its signed off. And another thing is, the account balance takes about 5 mins to load meaning when i try to log in to check my account, it takes about 5 mins to load and it renders/buffers for a really long time. Again, these are just my honest comments about my experience with this app. Wish it would have been faster loading when i sign in to check my balance net worth. Overall, i enjoy this app alot. This helps me keep track of my assets and liabilities.

Great way to track all your finances on one app. I’ve been using it for so many years that I’ve lost count. But this is definitely my go to app when it comes to finances.

Makes keeping track of your finances so much easier! You can seek all bank accounts, credit cards, retirement accounts, and anything else you may have, all in one place. It has helped me keep better track of my family’s finances. I would highly recommend giving it a try.

I cannot use my account because I cannot get into it!!!!
I have tried your method to fix the problem and cannot get it done, I have asked to handle the problem by phone and receive no response????? I need an answer I can work with or return my funds to me!!!!!!

I really like how this app takes all my investment holdings and averages the gain as well as compare against different indexes. Great for tracking my progress

The personal capital app sucks. There is so many syncing and updating errors with my accounts it render it useless. Definitely needs some work.

I started with the online platform two weeks ago...no advisor services needed. At first I was very impressed with the interface and ease of linking accounts.....then it changed. I have had trouble linking two accounts and have submitted web tickets and support emails for a resolution....I'm still waiting. If their support response time is any indication of the service they provide, be wary. I am truly disappointed as I am looking for an alternative to Quicken after 20 years. I'll give it another day or so and then I will be forced to move on.

UPDATE: Only two hours after a negative review, I get a response. The response is to submit a support email...which, as I stated, I've done several times. It's disappointing that it took a review to get someone's attention. I really want to like this product. I will update this review as needed.

UPDATE 2: Someone reached out and after about a week and several emails, my situation is resolved. As I stated, I want to like this product and can now have full capabilities. If any further updates are needed, I will supply.

I have used PC for 2 years now. It has assisted me in sticking to my planned budget and get a realistic, live picture of where my spending and finances are at.
I sometimes get a little frustrated when there is a delay in transactions posting because I cannot immediately update the categories at times.
Other than this, I really enjoy personal capital and it is very user friendly. Because it is free it also makes it amazing value!

If I could rate it zero stars I would. PC business model is not any better than a robo advisor except they charge a hefty advisory fee while your money sits in ETFs. After speaking with the salesman to initially transfer my accounts I was assigned to the advisory TEAM and told to contact them for questions, issues, and support. I spoke with at least 6 PC personnel to get up and running, some better than others, but it is a task to get someone on the phone and you are never guaranteed to speak to the same advisor if you have below $250,000. How is that personal attention (which was promised during my initial calls) The advisory team sold all positions regardless of being positive for several years to put my whole portfolio in ETFs. They would not consider leaving current positions and investing new money in ETFs. Furthermore, when asked how monthly allotment of 350 would be auto invested I got a chuckle from the advisor on the phone as if that little amount was not good enough for their time. Finally, after transferring my accounts back out I have lost the ability to see my remaining accounts. If you receive a call from the PC sales team, hang up quickly or let them know you are not interested in paying fees to park your money in ETFs. Unprofessional and extremely misleading financial services company.

Personal capital has been a game changer for tracking net finances and networth. Not only does it let you set financial goals for retirement but it allows you to track all your accounts so you can really see where you’re at financially with your networth. I highly recommend this financial app to anyone who wants something organized & easy to manage!
