don't give a sh t...Hopeless Couriers. Said they arrived Friday 9 June. Live in apartment and cleared letterbox Sunday. No PBT Card. Rang Monday 12 June to see where it was. changed address to my work. Said they left card. I said no. Got home card in box. So they called Monday not Friday. Rang Tuesday still at depot will deliver Wednesday. No delivery Wed rang again and waited 15 minute mandatory wait.Probably to put you off. Sorry will escalate. Thursday no delivery rang again. Again another long wait. Sorry will escalate and someone will ring. No one rings. Friday no delivery ring again another long wait. Useless...quicker to post it....... Couldn't track it with the number i was given. However, Call Centre could find it. Said there must be a glitch. Yea sure a Tui's Clitch.... Can't get anyone to take responsibility

Definitely the worst courier company in NZ. We have used them reluctantly for several years because they carry goods up to 2000mm in length. We have had no end of issues. Often non-delivery, no signatures obtained on valuable items but just lately we have had a run of failures. A customer purchased a $1400 present for his wife’s birthday. It was unwrapped in front of the guests at the party. Much to everyone’s dismay it had a gouge across the front face and was apparently damaged in transit. We replaced the damaged gift immediately and the second one arrived smashed into 3 pieces. PBTs response was sorry we don’t have insurance for such items.
This added to a multitude of failures over the past few months. No tickets on freight forwarded goods, no scanning, losing goods in the depot (ChCh depot has this down to a fine art). Why are they still in business?

Literally will not deliver and they’ve had the parcel 10 days now. The tracking now says: ‘Business Closed: Level 3 Restrictions’. I can’t say I’ve ever had a courier company pretend we are in a nationwide lockdown to get out of delivering a package.

The worst courier company ever ! I just got a separate bill for 'manual handling' which they then put a fuel surchage fee on top of!? I laughed out loud. Unless they have robots, someone will need to handle the parcel.
Overall they are lazy, never measure and weigh and constantly overcharge.
Always hand parcels over to nz post to deliver, i get charged extra, often in residential areas they call rural- lazy.
Don't care about parcels, I've had many claims for damage.
They say they have the least claims for courier companies in nz - that is because they dont pay out!

I dropped off some mag wheels at their Christchurch depot at around 1pm on Monday and didn't expect them to get to the buyer in Nelson until either Thursday or Friday. The buyer rang me at 11 am on Tuesday and said that they had arrived at 8.30 that morning! That's less than 20 hours! Staff in ChCh were very helpful and were a treat to deal with. I am very impressed and would use them again.

This is the second or third time dealing with this company and NEVER AGAIN! THE WORST, ABSOLUTELY THE WORST. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. DRIVERS LET PARCELS SIT FOR DAYS OR WEEKS AT DEPOT AND NOT DELIVER. I WILL STOP BUYING FROM VENDORS WHO USE PBT.🤬🤬🤬

Parcel picked up from vendor a week ago. No updates since from either vendor or PBT tracking sites.
PBT website explains that there are delays due to the extreme weather sweeping through the Northland/Auckland region. The trouble is that there hasn’t been any extreme weather there for awhile now.

The order arrived in 2 days with no damage and tracking worked, only delivery company I could comfortably rely on. Great service.

You would think that with the high amount of negative feed back (not only on this platform) PBT would look to improve their service.
I'm not going to order from any company that uses them ever again.

At this point I'm tempted to file a report of theft. They didn't deliver when we were home. Didn't even leave a card to call. I had no idea delivery had been attempted until I tried to figure out where it was and used tracking number link to get an update. Needed item urgently was told they would me I could pick up and they would get back within 24 hours. Nothing, 6 days later. No idea where item is, when they will deliver. This isn't due to floods either. This was before the recent weather events. They won't pick up phone. So as far as I'm concerned my goods are stolen because they have them, won't tell me how to get them or deliver them and now I can't contact them.

Worst courier service ever. Package sitting in the depot 7 days so far. Don't answer the phone. Obviously don't care about customer service. The sooner they go under hte better.

After booking pick for Microsoft service order booked pick up on Friday it is now Wednesday they were supposed to collect on Friday tried calling the first time the automated voice gave me wait time and asked if I wanted to hang up so they can call me back they called back the first time to let me know a driver will collect package same day nothing has bean collected at all tried calling 2-3 more times no more automated voice telling you wait time or a call back option just put you on hold after 10 minutes they hang up on you tried calling from one of my family members phones same thing first time automated voice and call back option after that just put on hold and hung up on after 10 minutes exactly

The worst courier service in New Zealand, avoid using them

Never, ever choose to use. Worst courier company in NZ. All of my experiences with PBT have been negative. 1) slow - packages sit at their depots or with drivers for days, 2) don't attempt delivery, just leave card, 3) don't respond to emails or online contacts, 4) can't get in touch with them via phone.

The courier never rings the doorbell, but always leaves a card.
Although there is always someone at home who can receive the package.
Every time you have to go and pick it up.
What's the point of such a service?!

Auckland to Whitianga. 15 days! Wrong tracking number. Crap customer service. No interest in helping. No explanation as to why items sit in distribution centre's for weeks. Alway blaming the other city dispatch, the one you CANT phone.
If buying from Trademe ask who the courier is. If it's pbt, find a different seller

I ordered a saddle Monday from the south island and I must admit when reading reviews I got worried and wondered why the saddlery store choose to use them I prayed it would arrive coming to the north island from Christchurch as it was needed urgently. Coupled with poor weather and delays possible. I was not disappointed. It was collected Monday evening and delivered Thursday morning. So very 😊 thankyou felt deserving of a positive review after not many great ones.

The driver put my suitcase by front door in full view of road. He signed my name on receipt. It was lucky my dog barked otherwise It could have been on doorstep for ages. I have a camera by door and he did not knock and above case is a clear sign saying to NOT put packages on doorstep but behind gate on side.

I ordered a bed in a box coming direct from Auckland to Hamilton over 2 weeks ago. I understand at the moment that couriers are being delayed due to recent weather events, but now PBT have either lost my parcel or its still in Auckland after 2+ weeks after speaking to a customer service representative. So far I have made three separate customer service inquiries with PBT and 4 customer service enquires with the company i brought the bed from to get an explanation about what has happened, where my parcel is and if there is any update. I am still awaiting to hear an update on the parcel itself and what the resolution will be.

Parcel management really needs to be looked at here as other courier companies I have used are 9/10 seamless. Every time I have used PBT I always have had issues with delivery time frames or parcel management. In future, I will probably avoid purchasing from a company that uses PBT.
