I had a 80kg pallet with parcel from MyTools delivered, ordered on Saturday arrived Thursday. Excellent communication from company and driver who was very helpful. Exceeded expectations.

Had a package sent back to sender because of their broken system for card left & redelivery.
When I raised this issue with their customer service, they said I didn't tell them to redeliver, despite me using their useless chatbot (currently only option), equally useless SMS service and calling them several times only for them to just hang up on me.
Being completely ignored, impossible to contact
My expensive Christmas present was given the wrong address, the merchant wouldnt change it and it’s going to another city hours away. I’ve been waiting 9 days to hear anything from PBT. I’ve called several times, one time i waited on hold for nearly 4hrs with no luck. Emailed 3 times and spoken to the chat bot several times but these people are impossible to get in touch with. There’s not even an automated response to say they got my email or any way to actually speak to a human and know how if they’re receiving any of my attempts to contact them. I get it’s a busy period but people need to stop running businesses if they can’t provide the service they claim to. You can’t just completely ignore customers, make sure they’re unable to contact you in any way and never show up. It’s time to look at reducing the work you take on or, more likely, stop shovelling all the money into the CEOs pockets and hire more people.

Do not use this company. Terrible communication and they lost my order. Almost a month later, I get an email saying sorry they had tried their best but I would need to start the process of a refund.

I had an urgent package to be delivered to me and while its been the christmas rush, they promised that they would deliver my packages today at 5pm and then they never showed. I've been waiting over a week for these packages and since thursday they have said that my packages are out for delivery and yet they never have showed up. I have incontinence and I'm waiting for products regarding this. if i dont get my over $200 delivery of these products then i am screwed and i dont know what to do. Express freight delivery service my ass.
The worst courier/freight company in NZ
I found this company to be the worst courier/freight company in NZ. The first order went missing. No one would return emails or answer the phone.
The second freight item sat in a different town for days. Again, no one would answer emails or phone calls.
I would not use this company ever again.
PBT Logistics - bottom of the barrel 3pl
PBT Logistics gave us appalling service, shoddy treatment of stock, hopeless inventory system.
When it was a family run business it was great but now its run by ivory tower corporate entities whose managers let it go to the dogs.
As a long term 3pl customer with PBT, over the past 2-3 years we have had a nightmare run of errors, lost and damaged stock and charges for non-existent stock.. There is a story here, too long for this review, but I think I've made my point.

Delivered my package to the wrong town
Delivered my package to the wrong town. Had me on hold for over an hour then terminated the call. So I had to drive 30km to pick up my own package from a random house. Useless.
Worst courier service in terms of delivery time
I had an online order from Peter Alexander and it took 2 weeks for them to get delivered here in Christchurch! It was only delivered when I had let Peter Alexander know and they made a follow-up. Package turned up and my gift box was damaged!
PBT Pretty Bloody Terrible
PBT Pretty Bloody Terrible. Zero stars. A package was sent to my address in error. I alerted PBT of this error. They replied that they've booked a pickup. Days later the package was still sitting outside in the rain. So I emailed again on Friday evening saying it has not been collected. Automatic reply saying my email will be answered on Monday. No response on Monday by close of business. Package sitting there for nearly a week. I had to email again saying I seem to be a lot more concerned with the safety of a stranger's package ( than they are concerned about their customer). The day after it was collected. Thank you, I said. But I spoke too soon. The following Monday the package turned up AGAIN! This time with the SAME ADDRESS written on it, stuck over the printed address label. Somebody had gone to all the trouble of repeating the mistake. The customer's, s phone number is on the label. Why not call them? I'm not going to get involved. I emailed saying I want this package removed from my property tomorrow ( Friday). Friday has come and gone and it is STILL THERE! Now getting wet over the weekend. Couldn't be less concerned with their customer's goods.

This is the worst courier company I have ever used. Always have problems with them. Was home all day with door open they just put the card it letter box because there too lazy to walk to the house. Too many bad experiences to list with this company

They have had my parcel at the Tauranga depot since last Thursday. I expected it to be delivered on Friday. Rang them late Friday, and was given the poor excuse that the van was full and that I would definitely get it Monday. Rang them today and was told that it will now be Tuesday. PBT are absolutely useless. If you can’t provide the service you advertise, then you should not be in business.

With deliver courier for 2 days in a row.
Customer service ensured me my package was priority, 2 days in a row and it would be delivered that day.
Both days no package.
I paid for overnight delivery as it's a business item I need urgently.
Will never use this company again, unsure how you're still in business if I'm honest.

Not sure how they are still in business or why businesses still use them. Have a delivery in May that took 3 weeks to get from Beaumont st Auckland to Queen St Auckalnd. Sadly it looks to be heading the same way with the same company still using PBT, delivery picked up again from Beaumont St on Tuesday still not made it to Queen St.

I am a current member and have been a member with ultra tan for 9 years until it was bought out by this company they put a timer to the minute when you can tan and if they get new bulbs you can only lay 5 minutes. I had laid the 5 minutes and today tried to make me do it again I had to argue for five minutes that I had done already. Then tried to tell me that it was after the put in the new bulbs. It was plain I laid the 5 minutes even she said that, and I already have the required base tan. I mean it’s plain that I’ve been a member for a long time or it should be. Looking to purchase my own tanning bed now as this is ridiculous for the price of a diamond membership and the new treatment long standing customers are getting. I thought the to the minute time would be a breaker for me as I go at times when I can, but this blew me up cause I’m not getting my moneys worth.
Still waiting for a parcel almost 3 weeks later…
I ordered a dress on the 11th of July it said it would take 3-5 days to be delivered. It arrived at the Tauranga depot on the 13th of July and still hasn't been delivered 2 weeks later. I need this dress for a friends themed 30th by this Friday so hopefully it arrives by then. I have even called to see where it is. I understand that they are short staffed but 3 weeks is a very long time to wait for something from within NZ. Update: I was told it would be delivered today and it wasn't.

They sent my parcel from Christchurch to Whangarei, then to Auckland then back to Whangarei. Meanwhile I am in Tauranga. Can't contact them by phone as I have been on hold for 40mins now

Gave 1 star as zero wasn’t an option. Delivery driver left package twice in full view of main road. Lucky neighbour saw it. Driver left deep gouge on grass where he was too lazy to get out of van so could reach letter box and lift & leave, despite there being a parcel box on fence a couple feet away. On one of the occasions we were home & too lazy to come into open gate to deliver. Manager at Palmerston North branch too lazy to return call. Avoid at all cost

Such bad service! 3 times I’ve tryed getting things delivered, first they were delivered to a complete wrong address, next time they were just never delivered and now the postie dropped them to nz post, and the lady on the phone said they should get deleivered, and that Palmerston North would just throw them out. WHAT THE F Absolutely useless bro.
Avoid PBT at all costs
Item dispatched 31/03/23 ex Christchurch has no movement logged after pick up...therefore MIA! Item was a treadmill, so not a small item.
PBT had to pay for replacement item which on arrival in Tauranga sat in their depot for 7 days. After enquiring as to why it had no been delivered a depot search was initiated and it was delivered the following day. In response to Kerry's review below, although they may state they do not have insurance to cover damage, they have a duty of care and you can bring their incompetence to the attention of the commerce commission.
