I had an incredibly disappointing experience with PayU. I made a payment of ₹33,000 using my credit card through their payment gateway, but the transaction neither got approved nor refunded. It's been over 20 days now, and the support team has provided no resolution or clarity on the matter.

Shockingly, their response was that they will "review it for release after 210 days from the last transaction date." This is absolutely unacceptable! If the transaction cannot be approved, the money should be immediately refunded to the customer. Delaying the refund for such an extended period only adds unnecessary stress and hardship for customers like me.

The lack of urgency and empathy from their support team is pathetic. Despite multiple follow-ups, there’s no concrete solution offered. I’m left feeling helpless, knowing my situation will remain unresolved even after their absurd 210-day waiting period.

I strongly advise anyone considering using PayU to think twice. A payment gateway should provide security and prompt resolution, not cause more headaches. My trust in PayU is shattered, and I hope they take steps to improve their customer support and refund processes.

It's a long story but try to cover it short. Couple of years ago, we were using this scammers company for our business online payment where one client same as this people bought our product and availed IT services of couple weeks. After a month, he fileds a complaint and asked for refund.

We've clearly communicated with the client that as per our ToC and you have already download the source code, you cannot claim for the refund. The same has been sent to PayU support too. But after a couple of years not sure what PayU did, that fund was held by my bankers.

Now these PayU hired some dept collecting agency who don't understand anything (not even sure how intangible product sales works) keep emailing and one email we dragged payu and in the second PayU responded to the agency mentioning that "Don't put us on this, you take care". Wow !

I will never advice this fraudulent company to any company especially if you are into software.

Worst payment gateway processors, they put my settlements on hold randomly and they're asking me proof of providing my order, I gave them everything, invoices, order info, proof of delivery through discord screenshots, and they're saying its illegitimate and they need document proof even when I told them I gave them everything and there's nothing else to send as its a monthly service that I provide and there's no other way to show proof of delivering a monthly service that has been expired long ago and they're telling me to cooperate, Worst company. They're the ones who need to cooperate, now I have to look for another payment gateway. Not recommended.

A company of Fraudsters
This company is full of scammers and fraudsters. Poorest customer service and extremely expensive fees and charges. Don't ever include this gateway on your page or website. This is a gateway for fraud and scam, not a payment gateway.

One of the world's worst payment gateway I dont know how Indian government gave them licence. Government should consider kicking them out of our country since they are hurting business operations in name of payment gateway

Don't pay to any merchant using PayU as PayU don't have any payment dispute team, that means if the merchant doesn't provide you the product or services then their is zero chance that you will get your money back.

I have been trying to contact PAYU.pl for a month.
I tried contacting different email addresses: marketplace, operations, help...
All without answers. Very bad service.

I have received payment of 37500 on 11 july 2023. and today is 11 aug 2023 payment not settled yet. also not refund total amound.

Full on scammers.PayU randomly applies a 60% penalty to our due amount after holding funds without explanation for over 8 months. and they are trying to make us sign an indemnity bond for the same.

I am utterly appalled by the abysmal service and sheer incompetence displayed by PayU, an online payment service provider. I regretfully entrusted them with a payment of 200 euros, and nearly a month has passed with no resolution in sight. It's abundantly clear to me now that PayU operates more like a scam than a reputable company.

First and foremost, the fact that my payment has gone missing for such an extended period is unacceptable. A month of waiting and countless emails and phone calls have yielded nothing but empty promises and fruitless attempts to locate my funds. PayU's utter lack of accountability and transparency is simply baffling.

What makes matters worse is that I have been treated with blatant disregard and indifference throughout this ordeal. Their customer service representatives have been consistently unhelpful, providing generic responses and failing to provide any meaningful assistance or updates. It's as if they don't care about the money they have effectively stolen from me.

Furthermore, PayU's deceptive practices are truly disheartening. Their marketing materials and website claim to offer a secure and reliable payment platform, but my experience has proven otherwise. They lure unsuspecting customers with promises of convenience and security, only to let them down when it matters the most.

I am not alone in my grievances, as a quick search online reveals a multitude of similar complaints from other dissatisfied customers. It is alarming to see that this company continues to operate with such disregard for its customers, seemingly without any repercussions.

I strongly urge anyone considering using PayU to think twice before entrusting them with their hard-earned money. Their track record speaks for itself, and it's clear that they are not to be trusted. There are countless other reputable payment service providers available that prioritize customer satisfaction and actually deliver on their promises.

In conclusion, my experience with PayU has been nothing short of a nightmare. They have demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and integrity. Losing my payment of 200 euros and refusing to rectify the situation is not only a severe inconvenience but also a clear indication of their deceptive practices. Fraudulent Payment Platform
I cannot in good conscience recommend this platform to anyone. PayU is a fraudulent application that takes money from the customers but then make excuses to hold or delay settlements.
So, basically they said they will settle the payments after T+2 days of collection. But it has been more than a week and they are yet to settle my amount. I have tried raising multiple support tickets.
The fact that they hold your money in their account and give irrelevant replies to your support tickets is unacceptable and disappointing.
In one of my support ticket they claimed that they had recently stopped onboarding new customers and that the delay in settlement is because of their onboarding process being paused. This is nothing but deceitful behavior because once they on-boarded me, they have to provide proper service and timely settlements. Moreover, onboarding and settlements are two different departments.
I have stopped using PayU, because of their engagement in swindling. This is not a platform to trust your money with, I would urge the readers, my friends and relatives to stay away from PayU.
Their deceitful practices have left me feeling cheated and frustrated.

Please do not trust on this. They are supporting all fraudulent merchants. They do not hold any responsibility if you are cheated.

Fraud company they hold my settlement INR 60k+ and don't give me response just closed my ticket. don't trust don't use this payment getaway..

PayU is so horrible, so I'm actually taking the time off to write my 2nd review. As a new business owner, if my KYC was not done - why accept payment from my customers on my website ?

Now they need additional documents to release this payment into my bank account - which I have submitted but the team doesn't know how to check their attachments - because a week after the documents I submitted my verification is pending.
It's more than a little annoying because this overall process began in May.

Finally, I get a call from their customer service - but they keep disconnecting when I call back !!

I need to be free as per their convenience and schedule, but they are not free to answer my calls.

RBI needs to ban such fraud companies from operating in India.
