Wish i can give a 0, terrible company that supports scams, Despite paying thru G&S you get 0 protection. absolutely disgrace.

Been given the runaround. Havnt received all the goods from a seller, because I received some goods it been delivered. I am still waiting on rest of order. I asked paypal to look into and because its been delivered. Its a closed case. What has happened to rest of order, somewhere over rainbow I think. I now cannot find the seller, the company. I have been with Paypal for over 10yrs and now you tell me you cant help. No one has read the emails, trying to upload proof and photos is very hard. You had a great rep once PayPal but you'e given up to the bots. Where are real people to talk. Even the chat facility are bots. I am out of pocket and the seller used 2 paypal accounts for one transaction, I didnt authorise but you did. How can we fix if this is true and you do send to Paypal this review. Update: Now Paypal have suspended my account and I have to give all new details to reopen. HOW IS THIS FAIR. FITODYLIMITED OWE ME MONEY. Even to close PAYPAL account I need to verify myself again.

If I could give zero, I would! It seems they are happy to let AI and bots deal with issues rather than having the courage to deal with it properly. A seller sent me something I did not order & I have all the documentation and proof to show that. Yet I am expected to be out of pocket to return the items before I get a refund? NOT ON PAYPAL! In addition, there is no way of communicating once they think they have made a decision! They are letting scammers get away with their ‘trade’ under false pretences. NEVER trust Paypal! They make it as hard as they can for you to make contact and literally behave as the scamming businesses they allow through their site. I am disgusted and advise it is probably easier to claim back a fraud against a credit card payment than through PAYPAL. Appalling service with disgusting immoral behaviour.

I have been providing receipts and transcripts of seller instructions, photos and proof of mail back to seller. These documents and receipts etc have been requested and sent to PAYPAL over and over!!! Seller gave me the ok for refund. I returned the parcel (unopened) to them. No refund. Paypal tell me that the transaction was completed. Well, I am out $80 for goods, priority delivery cost when I ordered and $28 to return the goods as instructed for a refund. The seller has NO financial loss. I do but, Paypal say it's all OK and found in the Seller's favour. I can not believe that my communications have even been read.

I would give minus ten if I could!
They were great as a security if you bought a faulty product etc.
Now they are a total joke!
They support scammers and give ridiculous reasons for not supporting a claim, not even related to the issue.
I am closing my account.
Goodbye paypal and good riddance!

I STRONGLY ADVISE ANYONE WHO HAS AN ACCOUNT WITH PAYPAL TO CANCEL IT IMMEDIATELY, which is what I have now done. I accepted a 7-day trial for a software product and was happy to pay a small fee to try out the software. It was useless and did nothing, it was clearly a fake. The company web site stated you have a week to trial before you start a subscription, but the company debited my bank account ‘Two Days’ later -What happen to the 7 Day trial. I then tried to log in to the web site and it would not accept my username or password, same as I often used so I know I was not making a mistake. I then researched this company and there are many complaints about this company. For example, debiting money after you have cancelled the subscription and sometimes, they debited people’s accounts twice after trying to cancel out of it. Many people were unable to log in to the company’s website. It was clearly a company that was scamming people. I gathered all the information about the company, links to all the reviews of what the company had been doing to people, many were forced to cancel their cards which I was forced to do the same. Even after all the information I submitted to PayPal they still did nothing and closed the case, they considered I had a subscription. I have used PayPal for many years, but I know now they do not support you if you have been a victim of a scam. I have now set up an account with a card that I use purely for online transactions, keep limited money in the account and transfer money into the account when I am planning to buy online or trial a product etc. If ever I am a victim of a scam again, I will be better off than then depending on a useless company like PayPal for support.

I have used PayPal (paypal.com) for some time & been satisfied, however having bought a dress online (that arrived significantly NOT as described) I have been refused (insurance) refund from PP, despite providing proof images of advertised & received goods. Non-existent Buyer Protection. (No help from the Chinese seller who scammed me either). NOT HAPPY!!

Terrible customer service every time I speak with them. They are rude and unhelpful. I have also been waiting months more a refund on a scam website purchase.

Paypal are a money generating organisation who make money from the suppliers,not the customers

So here you have a situation of the people who are supposed to protect you from the scam and they are part of the process😂🤣😅
Simply advise you're credit card company if you're not happy
Takes a while but you will get you're money back (eventually)
Paypal is free

PayPal is complicit in fraudulent transactions by Chinese fraudsters. Paid over $50 USD for an item, received a $5 AUD item instead and their only response is to mail the item back to China at a cost close to that of the original transaction. This is part of the scam as many people have been caught with this same scheme, yet PayPal continues to process payments from this fraudster. PayPal is well aware of many identical cases yet still takes money for these thieves. This is part of PayPal business model.

They won't process refund that was refunded by merchant, they just say contact merchant. But the problem is not the merchant. The problem is PayPal. It's the worst service that I have ever experienced. Just going around in circles with PayPal.

I used Paypal because of their buyer protection. I was denied the product I paid for and they didn't give me my money back. Now I can't close my account. Don't open an account with them. Wise is much better, Payoneer is worse than Wise but better than Paypal.

DISGUSTED . !!!!! NEVERXEVER EVER BUY USING PAYPAL. Tried their 4 paymt installmt for 1st time. They let me know it was safe to use. Seller all in Chinese. Was an AU TRANSACTION- seller charged USD, despite cancelling transaction within 1-2 hrs of card being debited, PayPal paid merchant in full . IGNORED MY INSTRUCTIONS NOT TO PROCEED. Goods never arrived. PayPal say I owe them funds. XXX WILL NEVER EVER USE PAYPAL AGAIN!!! . RIDICULOUS!! Foreign call centres . NO OWNERSHIP. They are supposed to protect consumers THEY DIDNT . DONT DONT USE PAYPAL EVER AGAIN!!! . APPALLED. Fictitious, misleading, dishonest . Won’t contact Merchant and allow SCAM MERCHANTS TO DUPE CUSTOMERS .

They say report a scam or fraud but they never give you that option ..I think they work with scammers I couldn't even phone them . I can see now why ppl give up and never report scams and I can see why scammer laugh at pay pal ..not that secure

Paypal allowed a merchant who has an atrocious record to bill me for 8 items when I purchased 2 of the same items. That company operates this way there are many and I mean a lot of poor reviews for that company that show they do this over and over again. Paypal have let me down

Terrible customer service.I spent hours on the phone with them since last February and now is almost 1 year that my issue doesn't get fixed. I have some money stuck on my Australian account, the account is limited, anytime I call they keep telling me that they will fix the issue and send me a link for the transfer but nothing happen. I submitted documents, gave them all the possible evidence!
At least tell me the truth that nothing can be done, instead of joking like that I would appreciate it more!

I logged a complaint with the seller stating the item received was not the same as the one advertised and their advertising was froudulent. The replies received from the company were unsatisfactory so I excellerated the claim with PayPal and within a few days the full refund was being processed into my account. Thank you PayPal!!

Ich habe am 9.7.24 bei einem anscheinend betrügerischen Unternehmen bestellt (für knapp 85 €). Am 19.7. hätte spätestens geliefert werden sollen. Da auch sonst keine Kommunikation stattfand (keine Trackingdaten usw.) habe ich am 22.7. den Fall bei Paypal eröffnet und Käuferschutz beantragt. Heute, 24.7. Geld zurück bekommen. Hier schreiben wohl überwiegend die, die sich über Paypal ärgern. Deshalb die wenigen Sterne der anderen. Ich kann nur sagen: Mein Kauf war bei einem betrügerischen Unternehmen, ich habe alle erforderlichen Unterlagen (eigener Schriftwechsel mit dem Onlinehändler) eingereicht und PayPal hat es korrekt geprüft. Bin sehr zufrieden.

I ordered a 128 gb SD card from AliExpress and paid via paypal. When checking the card with free software H2test2 it showed as only 7.5 gb being ok out of the 128gb. I raised this issue with paypal but finally said I had no case. They refused to refund me the money. People should stop using paypal as they have no guarantee that they will be compensated if they get fake products. I am taking this to the NSW Fair Trading or to an ombudsman looking into this PAYPAL HAS TO BE STOPPED !!!!

PayPal whole advertisement for using them is that you are protected from fraud and they will recoup for you in advent of it. IT IS A LIE!! if you read their microscopic fine print it now tells you that you are liable for being frauded. Do not trust or use if you don't have to. There are better ways to protect yourself as PayPal is now only made it easy for fraudsters to steal your money and details.
