The online platform is fantastic and there’s so many free add ons that make the ground school well worth the money.

Extremely helpful and resourceful. The zoom classes, podcast and study groups make all the difference. There is something for everyone in their ppl stage to help them study in their busy lives.

For months I was clueless on where to start my journey to becoming a pilot. I downloaded numerous pages on Facebook and would just read comments and posts from people all over the world about ground schools, instruments, maneuvers, etc.
I had had my wife buy me a stack of books that I had seen people recommend and I felt that was going to get me on a track to begin.
Once they showed up at my house I panicked! I thumbed through the pages and was shocked to find all this information.
I was again feeling as if maybe this wasn’t going to be for me.
So I picked a page I follow on Facebook (with no recollection of it being an online ground school) and sent a post with picture of my new books.
I managed to get a lot of feedback from some very kind people that informed me that I had in fact posted on the part time pilot study group for the ground school.
So I went back to Google and also watched a bunch of videos nick had posted plus took notice in what all he offered when you apply for part time pilot ground school. As if faith had showed up to my door step I was presented with a starting point!
After a couple of days pondering on if this was the right choice for me. I talked it over with my wife and told her part time pilot was the route I wanted to take.
So I enrolled that night ( during the Black Friday deal) and immediately started on the lessons and all the other features included.

It has been and continues to be the best choice I have ever made! Coming from zero knowledge in aircraft or what it takes to become a pilot the podcasts, app, course lessons, and bonus material have started to pave a way for me to understand the requirements of becoming a great pilot!!!

I am 59 years old, and have that studying and learning looks and feels differently than it did in High School and College. I bought another online ground school, but found that I like Nick's conversational method of teaching better. I listen the podcasts now instead of music or online books while working out, mowing the yard, etc. Then, when I am ready to sit down and go over a lesson, I already have a good understanding of material. Highly recommend Part Time Pilot Ground School.

I am really excited to get my ground school moving. I am 61 years old and have always wanted to get my PPL. I spent 33+ years in the Air Force and have many hours in F-16s, B-52, C-130, KC-135 as an enlisted person. I retired as a Chief Master Sergeant. This seems like the best chance to prepare for my training.

I really like that they have the podcasts, videos and diagrams allowing for a mixed type of learning! Every lesson has playable audio and you can follow along by reading. I do wish they had more of the videos though, sadly not every lesson has them attached. The checklists they provide are very helpful too, so you know what you've gone over and what you have not.

I love this ground school because the education is explained very easily, in plain English. The way this ground school is set up, the website, the app, the lives on social media, you get every bang for your buck. You truly are in charge of your education. Part Time Pilot is so great!!! I would recommend every time.

I researched quite a few online ground schools before committing to PTP. Why did I choose PTP? Because Nick truly cares about student pilots and wanting them to succeed. I also appreciate how students get lifetime access to everything without needing to worry about a yearly or monthly subscription. PTP is very multi-faceted...from the live lessons, to the Facebook study group, to the podcasts, to the student portal chock-full of videos and quizzes...there are just SO many ways to learn through PTP! If you're looking for a quality and personable ground school experience (that won't break the bank), this is it!!

so far systematic and clarity of instruction is amazing. it would be a lot more facilitating for students to ask any clarification while studying just like a chat symbol availability to as on the go clarification without interrupting the lesson,

I was looking for a online ground and I find Nick (Part Time Pilot) all the lessons audio notes podcasts and quizzes after each lesson was amazing, it helped me a lot and I can totally recommend it for anyone!

This course has been thorough, and great for new and experienced students. It quickly took me from zero knowledge to where I needed to be, and kept me current in my flight training. As a visual learner, the classes fit my needs. It is great for all learning styles because of the many different ways to study a lesson. This also helps with a busy schedule as I can listen to the lessons out loud, and go over pictures later.

Nick has done a phenomenal job with the ground school. The way Nick explains all the concepts makes them easy to understand and apply. I will be recommending this ground school for lifetimes to come!

Nick is very experienced in the material and, even better, he can teach and convey the material extremely effectively. Having so many options for the material (videos, graphics, audio, etc) makes it so easy to study any time and in various ways, depending on your lifestyle or method of learning.

I'm currently going through the Online Ground School for my Private Pilot License and it's very well put together. The lessons are easily digestible and the quizzes at the end are really helpful as well. There are a ton of free resources provided that are unique to the Part-Time Pilot School, not just free downloads that you can get online from the FAA anyways. I feel really grateful I found Part-Time Pilot as it feels like a well-thought out hidden gem in the space of online ground schools. It's a continuous updated and expanding program that furthers the value even more so than when you first buy the course. I feel like my pilot journey is in great hands having a resource like this and knowing Nick and the PTP team is there for me as well.

Great PPL ground school! I am not big on reading and the YouTube videos on every lesson fixed my short attention span while also being very informative. The team is also very on top of helping responding to my emails on the same day I sent them!
